#shorthair #finehair #beachwaves

Hi guys in this video we are gon na be doing beach waves, as you can tell, I feel, really really sassy with those beach waves. Alright. So to start out, we have a damp hair. I just washed it I'm starting off with my Bond ultimate foam matrix, which is amazing because it really seals in the cuticle. It gives me a really good shine and where I've been highlighting, my hair, my hair, is pretty damaged on the ends. So I just kind of like scrunch it in my hair. There'S a satin we're from Redken. It'S really really nice for fine hair to give a nice root lift and then I go in with Frederic Fekkai mousse. I like it. It gives me a nice root, lift as well, and it keeps my style for longer, so I'm using high heat, I'm gon na go in and I'm gon na start blow-drying my hair upside down to give myself the maximum root, lift I'm using the wet brush to Dry, my hair. This is an amazing brush. That'S super gentle and it's detangling for wet hair. We use it on kids, a stylist and I love using on myself. It'S so not harsh and it doesn't break the hair when you're blow-drying and now I'm going in with a boar bristle brush - and this is just giving me a really nice smooth look to my hair, I'm still getting tons of volume. I take it into up through the crown, because that's why you want the maximum volume and I always go opposite of the direction of where I'm trying to blow-dry. So I can give myself all that root. Lift it's really really important, so this is just kind of smoothing it out. It has really nice bristles on it that grabbed the hair and it's super gentle as well on the hair, and it helps to also distribute all the product in the hair. This is a ceramic brush, I'm using a really big one, because the bigger the brush, the smoother the hair, so the straighter the hair and it smooths out the cuticle. If you saw, I just changed the settings to medium settings because I don't want to burn my hair and I'm going through the ends as if it is a flatiron, because it really does Mac like a flat iron and it's very hot and I'd. Much rather use a brush because it's a lot gentler on the hair and I just want to smooth out the ends. I use a cold shot here to give the hair a more shine and to seal in the cuticle. So this is really really the funnest part. I just fluff it up and I'm about to start curling. So here goes I'm going to set your section, the bottom nape part of the neck and I'm gon na start curling, I'm using my duckbill clips to section the hair. This is my curling iron. It is Conair, it's not a professional brand. I like to use this at home because it's less high heat than the one that I use at the salon, the one I use at the salon is very, very hot and I tend to burn myself a lot. So when you're curling you'll want to basically first of all, you have to section the hair. So, as you can see, I'm going in sections, I always like to do the front pieces. First, you can take the hair and turn it around and twist it around the wand, or you can take sections of the hair flat almost like a flat iron in it, so that it's inside the tongue and you pull it down so that you kind of get That flatter looser wave rather than you know, kind of like a tighter wave or curl. You don't want to type curl. You want a loose curl, so, as you can see, I'm kind of like pulling it down. I take it all through, so that the heat is distributed evenly and then I curl it and I check the heat and then I just pull it down so that it's nice and tight and I went around the front area again. The front curl because I just wanted it to be a little bit tighter here, I'm going to do something else, I'm twisting it around the wand, but I'm also like squid wiggling it around the wand and a lot of professionals do this to give really kind of Loose beachy waves. I think this is the most common way of doing beachy waves. You want to loosen it around wiggle it around half the section. You know kind of dance around the the wand, because you don't want it to be a tight curl. If you don't move it around, you're gon na get that kind of really tight curl that you would maybe use for like an evening out like a prom, updo or think something like that. So now I'm going around the different sections I like to wear my hair split in the middle. This is kind of like a new style. I'M sporting again, as you can see, doing the same thing, I'm wiggling it around the wand. I always curl the crown area backwards so that you have a little bit more volume up there and you can always tease it if you like, but around the face. I always curl away from the face and the angles are always you know so much more easy or to manage around the face. So that's, basically it just scrunch it around. Put some texturizing spray, some hairspray in it. That'S the beachy waves. Look, you can pinch the ends with some product or some shine spray, and that is all thank you guys so much for watching it is such a nice sassy sexy. Look. You can wear anytime,
