Voluminous Straight Hair- [Short Hair]

Hey y'all, it's John McClellan here with Fitness. You makeup, you don't need to be perfect. Your hair doesn't need to be perfect, but you sure, as heck me to be able to feel like you got a good hair hair going on. So I'm bringing to you today a tutorial for straightening, your hair, you aspera, I'm delivering it stay tuned. Here we go hey pipz! I want to make this very easy for you. I'Ve just blow-dried. My hair, I put my normal. I put my mousse. I put my thermal hair, I put a leave-in conditioner and I put a smoother from Aveda into my hair. That'S all I've done. I did that because I got blonde hair. I got ta protect the skin underneath of my hair shaved. It'S a little brown out. It needs to be trimmed up. I let my daughter do that she is the one that shades my under her because she wants to hear which grows up and I'm like well, this is the perfect place for you to practice is where it doesn't show. So, with straightening your hair, you can do one of two things. You can just go with keeping just your end straight and then leave everything else with a little bit of volume, a little bit of crazy, put some sea salt spray in it after you're done and not have a completely straight haired lips people whoever's watching this. I need you to know something: we live in a time and place where we do. We try, I try hard and let you know that you do not need to be perfect right right. We don't need to be perfect. Well guess what your hair doesn't either and luckily we're in a generation that the hair does not need to be perfect. So you can do one or two things. You can straighten your hands just straight up straight or when you're flat ironing, depending on how you like it, you can throw some kind of a roundness to it so that you kind of get that round affects a lot of people. If you have a straight across bob, it's very blunt on your ends um. This is something that you want, because this makes it so everything isn't just straight. Exactly on your face, I again, unless that's how you like it yay we live in a generation. We can do stuff like this and it doesn't matter. I love it. So I get this little natural curly wave going on here and I'm gon na straighten that out and fYI where you have more fragile hair so lot of times we have more fragile hair and in the front of your hair I said visit another one of my Hair tutorials, but I always do the front part in my hair first and the reason: why is your flat? Iron has had less time to heat up and your hair is more damaged here, so that helps save your hair just a little bit without having a flat iron that is too hot. So I'm just gon na go and straighten this out. I don't do my curls. I'M round it like this exactly um, I do mind because my hair is textured. When I have my status built in and cut my hair, I don't want to have blonde or I don't want to have blunt heavy ends, and so she textures it. She loosens it up, so it's not so heavy because I don't want that for me and if you're looking for a haircut like this, make sure that you tell your stylist that she needs to take off the heavy ends. So I just go around Flatiron all around and honestly a lot of times. I don't power off my hair. I leave my hair down and I just start doing it because I don't care for that perfection. So again, the biggest thing with flat ironing is just making sure you're either going to round it with your flat iron or pull it down really straight. So again, I'm just pulling mine straight down, I'm not doing a curl, okay, maybe a Titch of a girl. Just a little one, but not a big rounded up here, though, is straight. My ends down here has a little bit of a of around us to open, not a ton, and it depends on the angle that you pull your hair out to all about angles. And if you're wanting more volume at the top on your top parts, then pull clean. Clearly, I'm gon na get a brush for this and then pull up and then down to give it a little bit more volume and I'm just gon na add in I'm gon na pull up right in here. Okay, there she goes so you can move your part. However, you want so that's huge, so you can do a side part. You can do more of a middle part if your hair is just really matted to your head and you want more volume, go against what you normally do and do that part which also because it's used, if your hair. So if it's like mine, it's used to being in my face this way. So if I want to part it the other way, then it's used to being more back more. So it's not going to be in your face so trick is try out different parts, see what you like. Okay, so I'm going to add my products so again, really simple easy! There'S a couple products! I'Ve used that I love. So all I'm gon na do is put my. This is just a volumizing spray. It'S from the company called Divine's. I really like it. It smells like marshmallows, I'm not putting it in my roots, I'm just wanting to add some texture to my hair. Also, what I don't know about you, I'd love to know for you, but when I have straight hair, if I don't get product in it, it gets oily quicker. You can do one or two things here. If you're wanting to. I recommend this for the next day. So if I want to kind of change my hair up a little bit I'll, do a sea salt spray to kind of get it. If I don't want to be so straight, the next day give it a little bit more volume. Wake it up a bit. Give it that youthful beachy summer look so I'll. Just take some sea salt spray on day two. So then, I'm just gon na add my texture pace. Igk love it! So you just get it on your hands, and this is enough for a whole head. This definitely does not need to. So that's why I go in with these pieces first in case I have too much on my hands and then I will go in and you can take this stuff because it's so it has such good grit. You can take it all the way to your roots, but I don't want to hop be too powerful at my roots, so I put it through the ends and then I go in so. If you have one that's really slimy and oily, then I wouldn't put that one to your roots, but if you have one, that's got some grit to it like this one does that one's good and you're set. So look at that volume I have now, oh good. I love it and there it's easy straightening, your hair, so I'll take some of that. When I still have the the texture paste on my fingers, I will bring it up through here to kind of help with any shorter pieces, and I will also take my hairspray up at the top too, to help with any shorter pieces as well and then just Spray it on up um, also, if you want to just get more volume, lift up some of your hair spray underneath and don't just spray on the top, so you're getting this little air in there and through that, your spring. Okay, now I haven't looked at the back yet so don't judge me if something's out of line, but here's the back, so everybody asks to see all angles all sides keep it short or keep it. Keep me spinning, spinning spinning yep there you go so then you take that to this stylus cuz. That'S what I guess where Allah is a slowed down version of the spin, alright guys, that's all for today. I hope you enjoyed that tutorial.
