And try to use leave-in products that don't have water in it and just moisturize your hair with a heat protecting oil/serum. (please ignore my picture I'm a black woman with kinky hair)

Mysasser1: After washing part it moisturize and heat protect it then blow it out with a hair dryer. section it and twist it down. the iron it. you had at least half and inch more than what you got from this straightening. we have the same hair. I straightened a couple of time but it take too long.
