Oh, my god, it's just so smooth they're like no frizz like there's a few flyaways, but there's no frizz hi guys welcome back for anyone new here. My name is alana and in today's video i am going to show you how to get super straight hair with as little frizz as possible, using the smoothing brushes in the dyson air app. You do not need to watch any other video on youtube, because i have spent hours watching all the videos that there are on youtube videos online, the videos on dyson's website, i've tried and tested. So many methods i'm going to show you today is the methods that i use to get my hair really silky, smooth with as little frizz as possible. So let's get started, my hair is probably about 70 dry. I literally just blasted it using just the normal hair dryer attachment with the dyson air wrap. Again i always blow dry, my hair upside down, to give it volume and also before i blow dried. My hair - you will have seen me mention this in other videos. If you've watched my other videos, i put a pea-sized amount of this blow-dry cream by l'oreal onto my hands and ran it all through my hair so put on some of this um elvi l'oreal oil. Again, just one little pump into my hands ran it through my hair rubbed it into my roots. I know that you're not supposed to rub oil into your roots. People say that makes your hair greasy, but i don't really find that it makes my hair greasy. Personally, i just feel like this really helps manage my frizz, because the roots is where all the frizz is and we tend to just rub: oil down the ends of our hair. If you have super fine hair and it's maybe like grease prone, then i probably wouldn't rub any of this into your braids. But if your hair is quite dry like mine, then go for it, so i'm just gon na start by sectioning, my hair, i'm just gon na give my hair a brush, and this is really important. You have to make sure that you brush each section of your hair before you use the smoothing brush, because if you have any knots in your hair, just not going to run smoothly through your hair and it's just going to make it really really hard start. By putting some heat defense on my hair, it's so funny. I have been a model for about 12 years now, and so i've worked with i'd, say like well over a thousand hairstylists on shoots and probably about 10 of those hairstylists use heat defense on my hair. Like one of my pet peeves, you go to a hairdresser's and they don't put heat defense on your hair, and it just used to really confuse me. Why they wouldn't put heat depends on my hair or what about whenever hairstylists like spray it in your hair, and so your your hair's all done and then just go and just lift up a section and that's it and it's like hon, like you, missed the other 95 of my hair literally spread three strands. By doing that, guys i can go on around. You can tell i'm very passionate about heat defense, but as someone whose hair breaks really easily like i am passionate about it and you guys should be too in case you're. Confused which one of these to use, because i feel like a lot of people are if you've got thick quite coarse, hair like me, then you want to use this one. If you've got thin flyaway hair, then you want to use this one because it's going to be a little bit smoother on your hair, so guys i just want you to take a moment to appreciate the frizz here. Okay, this is this is frizzy hair that we're working with also really quickly if your hair is quite dry. I feel like this bottom bottom of my hair is actually got quite dry and i i'm just going to spray some water on it because i just feel like it works better whenever it's a little bit damp so guys you want to start by placing the brush At the root and work, your way down the hair, you want to make sure you hold and pull on your hair as you glide the brush down so you're, creating tension in your hair. This is going to help straighten and smooth it so much better. The key here is to get right up into the roots to eliminate that frizz guys. This is a technique that has been working for me. You want to use the brush in every direction of each section of your hair, so place it on top on the sides. Underneath making sure you're getting right up into the route and pulling the hair as you glide the brush down to create tension there we go. I feel like it's hard to see that it's not frizzy, because i've just got so much frizz up here, but this look, how lovely and sleek that looks i mean compared to this, like people are always like. Oh you've got such nice hair, it's so voluminous and it's lovely and curly like. Why do you always style it? Are you seriously asking why i always stylist like hello, so guys, like i just discussed in the voiceover, the most important thing to do is to use a smoothing brush in every direction of your hair, so you'll have notice. I used it under my hair. I used it on top of my hair. I used both sides of my hair if you just use it in one section, your hair, i just don't feel like it - does a very good job of getting the frizz out. Also, you need to really make sure you get up into the rope, because that's where the frizz is before. I was kind of just like doing that and, like thinking that i was getting up into the room, and i wasn't also - i would just do it under my hair and that's it. I would never put it on top. I would never do to the side, and you need to do that with every section of your hair again, i feel like it's really hard to see how little frizz it is because i've got frizzy bits going on here these little bits here i do at the End with this round brush because i just feel like i can get anything better than i can in a smoothing brush so guys, i'm just going to repeat this technique on the rest of my hair. In case you're wondering i am doing this on a high heat and high speed, i literally wouldn't get that any smoother or any straighter using a hair straightener. The great thing about using the dyson is that it's just blowing hot air onto your hair, so it isn't damaging your hair as much you guys watching. This already know that you wouldn't be watching this. If you didn't have a dyson. Well, maybe you do and if you're watching this and you're deciding whether or not to get dyson get it, so i have finished doing the rest of my hair. I feel like that, looks pretty good and i'll show you the back. It'S really funny because i'm here like showing you the back and like i can't even see what the back looks like, so it could be like a frizzy kinked mess and i'm all you're like yeah. This is how you get super straight silky known for his hair and then in the back. It'S like the complete opposite. We'Re now going to move on to the top of your hair new style, give it a good brush, so guys, i'm just going to do the same technique on top. Remember never to place the brush flat on your head and pull down like you. Would when you're brushing your hair, as that will just take out any volume and put it flat to your head when you're doing the ends, create lots of tension in the hair and brush them in the direction you want them to sit and again, remember please: the Brush in every direction of that section of hair, like i'm doing here, is this side pretty smooth and this side nicely frizzy mess so guys when you're doing the front bits of your hair grab them both together and you want to spend time, brushing them up and Away from your face, this will give them volume and frame your face really nicely, but, of course, don't forget to use the same technique quickly, brush them in every direction to get them super smooth and eliminate that frizz. So guys, if you get bits that you feel like aren't sitting right, you can just go back over them like, for example, this bits kind of flicking out this way. So i'm just gon na quickly go in and there we go now it's going in that way. So i feel like that turned out pretty well, i will show you the back. Hopefully that looks nice and smooth honestly whenever i first got this dyson. My hair did not turn out this smooth and this nice, and this like less frisbury until i kind of worked out how to use it properly and use the technique that i just showed you guys we're going to finish off with a little bit of oil. I'M just going to put one pump into the palm of my hands. I'M gon na rub it in i'm just gon na run it through. My hair just adds a little bit of shine a little bit of texture teams, those flowers. Obviously, there is still a few flyaways, but honestly guys, i think, no matter what you do. You'Re still gon na have them. Actually intrigued is anyone who's watching this tried the new fly away attachment yet for the dyson, but i - and i don't think it attaches to this - i think it just attaches to the hair dryer and i'm like. Why haven't you brought out one that attaches to this? Because i feel like so many people would buy it if you've used it. Please comment below and let me know whether it's worth investing in so guys. Thank you so much for watching. I really hope you enjoyed today's video. If you did, please make sure you give it a thumbs up and hit subscribe i'll, be uploading a lot more videos over on my channel, that's hair related. Also, if there's any video in particular that you would like me to make in relation to the dyson, hair, dryer or just any video in relation to hair, please comment below. Thank you.

JoanneMClark: Hands down this is the BEST DYSON tutorial out there! I have had my Airwrap for about a year, it has sat in its box for most of that time as I just can’t get to grips with it, my hair is so lovely now, thank you, you’ve explained everything so perfectly ❤️

SUVITHRA SUNDRARAJ: So glad I came across this video I was able to style my hair without any fizz with the air wrap. I have watched so many tutorials before and this is the technique that actually worked for me x

nataliastyle: You have the same hair texture as me so this was super helpful!!! Going to try it during my next wash! Love the technique

runspud: The smoothing brush is my fave. I’ve learned over trial and error how to use it to create the effect only my stylist could get on me with a blowout….or a flat iron ☹️ at home. My motivation to get the airwrap was styling options without the damage of traditional plate or barrel hot tools. It works!!! PS Your tip of holding the end of the hair to create tension is magnificent…WHY have i not done that? Today I’m giving it a go. Thanks for the video——the curling barrel videos are plentiful but we NEEDED this brush video. PSS i just bought narrow long barrels and WOW,,when it comes to curling, these are easier and more effective for my mid-length hair.

PeachyNana UK: My hair is just like yours Alana. In fact I think my hair has got curlier in the 2 years I’ve had the air wrap. But along with curlier the condition of my hair has improved so much. I managed to grow my hair quite long. I’ve only just had it cut a bit recently. I love the airwrap!

Maybesure: THANK YOU! This saves me 30 minutes every day. Best Airwrap tutorial ever!

Honey Bunney: Finally, someone who demonstrated in a easy to follow way. Thank you!

Lulux: This technique was Incredibly helpful and it cut down the styling time of my hair. I have A LOT of hair, it’s thick, long and it gets frizzy after drying. This technique helped with poofiness and frizziness THANK YOU! I left it in a low bun all night and did some light curls in the morning, looks so cute ! I love it

silverstargirl20: Omgg another amazing tutorial. Thank you sooooo much for such a detailed demo on this smoothing brush . Will surely try your techniques and let you know how it turned out ❤️❤️

Demet Yılmaz: I did my hair today like you described in this video, and the result is sooo good i can not believe it! Thank you so much! Please keep airwrap tutorial videos coming. Love from Turkey

LoveKeebuu: WOAH HO HO! I just tried this method and it works! My hairs the straightest and silkiest it’s ever been since using the dyson airwrap. I did every step including blowout cream and oil beforehand. I also agree w brushing beforehand. I forgot to brush a few sections & noticed the difference. It did take a bit of time but it works!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!!!!!!

Jennifer Hamm: THANK YOU!!!! Finally someone with my hair texture demonstrating how to get smooth results! I was ready to return mine and tried your technique today. It was FANTASTIC! I look forward to watching your other videos and actually learning how to use the curling wands do curls stay. ~Any tips to getting the round brush off without burning your fingers? Thank you again! I’m going to check for your spray in heat protection recommendations and other products and will make sure to use your links.

Qiran Z: Hi Alana, thank you very much for this tutorial! I have very similar hair type with yours and I just got my Dyson airwrap. I’m gonna give it a try following your video. I am curious what kind of hair pin do you use to hold the hair you haven’t style? It looks very convenient. I was very lazy to section my hair when I use other styling tools, but it looks like I have to when using the airwrap. It also bothers me a lot when I divide sections and tie my unstyled hair on top of my head because after I finish styling the lower sections of my hair, the tied upper sections always show signs of annoying curves left by using pins. Since your hair type is similar to mine. Do you have the some concern?

Natalie: You are hilarious and adorable and this technique totally nails it! I have 3b curls and this technique works for me too :)

Neha Unfiltered: Omg my hair texture is exactly like yours. Thanks for the video. Super helpful ❤️

aslbyweller: Great video thank you. I have the air wrap and the dryer, I basically use the air wrap most of the time. My goal is also sleek frizz free hair. I even messaged Dyson asking them to make a brush attachment like the revlon brush dryer. I will use your method the next time I do my hair, I also discovered via another YouTuber a product called Wow dream coat and I really like it so far.

Katherine Cobbold: Amazing, thank you! finally I can use my air wrap to its fullest potential….I have the new attachment for the hairdryer and it’s The best ! Really does smooth even more it’s fool proof unfrizzy hair

Esraworld: finally something that works perfectly! i was so frustrated with the airwrap and still continued to use my ghd hair straightener. this is a game changer. ❤

Caliyope: The smoothing brush is fabulous!!!! I love it!!!! Great tutorial!!

Sarah France: I’ve had my dyson for over a year and I felt so defeated with it, my hair type is super frizzy like yours. I can’t wait to try using it following your tutorial!

Ally Kat: Try using the round brush for your bangs and for the crown piece at the back of your head, to give it a bit of lift at the top. When I use the smoothing brush for my bangs they jut lay flat against my head. You’re right about the way people use the flat brush like it’s a regular hair brush and they don’t hold the ends of the hair with tension. ‍♀️ Glad to see someone read the directions! Nice job

Ebony Pasta: Hey love, thanks for this amazing tutorial!! I find my hair is straight with the dyson for like 30 minutes then it goes bloody curly everytime I feel like I've wasted so much money

Anna Duonolo: I am so thankful for this video!!! I can’t tell you how many videos I’ve watched and tried to understand how to use the attachments with my hair.. now to figure out how to curl and keep a curl

Anna Koltsova: Watched the video today and tried out - omgggg so sleek and smooth only using this brush attachment! Your technic is game changer, I was struggling so much with my hair that just when super fluffy and big obsessed

Tristyn Martin: This just changed my life! I don’t even have the air wrap, I just have the Hot Tools blowout brush and I just followed your steps - amazed at how it got rid of the frizz! We’ll done and thank you for posting this

Sharyn Case: Best tutorial I’ve seen so far, had mine a week and still getting to grips with it so thank you for explaining things properly looking forward to your next one x

R C: I have the drier and the smoothing attachment - definitely works! It almost makes your hair too flat though ... its like a flatiron. I have the airwrap too and think its worth it but i got both as christmas gifts from family (separate years!)

Linda Hoffman: Alana, This is a truly TERRIFIC tutorial with your step by step demonstration and especially your styling tips based on experience using the Air Wrap over time vs right out of the box videos (we can make those mistakes on our own LOL) I get frustrated with folks doing demos without taking time as YOU have to actually master the tool first! Thank you again and your hair looks Stunning!

Michelle Fangrad: You are a genius. I used this technique and it worked the very first time. Thank you so much.

shannon greenlee: Omg Thank you for this my hair is literally the exact same it’s such a nightmare but you’ve seemed to have fixed it and it’s even nicer the fact to have found a fellow NI person

Jeanette H.: This is a really good, helpful video! Thanks!

silverstargirl20: Today I tried your technique and guess wat my hair became so smooth and frizz free . I cannot believe this. This smoothing attachment has been lying in my airwrap case for so long, could not figured out how to use this in a correct way. Whenever I tried to do this my hair becomes a frizz mess. ‍♀️ . I m soooo happy now I can finally figured out how to use this attachment. Credit goes to you my lovely Alana ❤️❤️.

BhavZie: OMG! I actually found someone with a similar hair texture as me!! Thank you. I am considering the air wrap now!

Megan Peterson: Your tutorials on the dyson are the best! Can you do a tutorial on creating a beach wave with the dyson airwrap? The technique where you wrap the hair around the barrel yourself, while holding it upside down.

Marie-Pierre Veyrat: Great technique !!!! At last one that really works for me. Thank you so so much.

Priya Jha: Great tutorial How much time it takes in this whole process?

Francis Won: I have slinky shiny asian hair but after I got balayage I would wake up with extremely dry, stiff hair… I didn’t realize I could do anything about it until I saw a thumbnail of this video and thought it looked like my hair so gave it a try this morning. wow…!!!! AMAZED at how smooth and shiny my hair got! I’m so excited to get even more use out of my dyson. I’m also excited to try your tips from other videos. Thanks for this video!!

Maria Tourkakis: This actually was very helpful! Thank you

silverstargirl20: You are the only YouTuber who told us the correct way of how to use this smoothing brush attachment . Thank you sooooo much for this.

clipinqueen: You are the ONLY video I have seen advising oil on the roots! I do it all the time and don't get greasy hair (naturally curly). Also, I like it for the shorter breakage pieces to calm them down. Great video and tutorial!

Kerry Allen: Hi Alana your tutorials are the best! Thank you for making them so detailed! Have you noticed that the dyson has reduced the damage, as is less than what other heat devices caused?

Lunar Margo: Your hair is really pretty. Thank you for this video. I bought a dyson hair set month ago and haven’t used it all.

Cassie Alfveby: This was so helpful thank you so much!!!

apikaldominanz: Great Tip!! I will try that. Now that the fly away attachment is also available for the airwrap I cannot wait to get my hands on it!!

Suzetteinmiami: Thanks so much for this tutorial! I just bought one and still learning! So I have a question: do I need to dry the hair first with the smoothing brush before using the curling attachments?? I feel that if I don’t, the hair will be so frizzy! Is there a hack to have no frizz with using just the curl attachment?

Nicole Sandford: I have used the flyaway attachment It’s amazing! I agree it should come with the airwrap rather than the dryer It would have saved me $799!! Oh well, the things we do for our hair

Gillian Robson: I am so plz found this videoI have search for months for a good video and see how I can use this Dyson and it’s finally works. I have very thick hair is very hard to control But now since I have found your video I can at least have been able to do my own style with your video

Danielle Lape: This tutorial works amazing! But just wondering if you set your dyson on high heat, how do you manage not to burn your palms with the heat? Cause mine get burned from time to time lol

Asmah Mohammad: Not only is this one of the best tutorials I have watched but hearing you talk is pleasant and beautiful.

Janice G: I used my new dyson for the first time yesterday and I swear had thee worst hair day of my life. I have fine, curly, frizzy hair generally difficult. I’m going to try again with these tips. Thank you

Emma: How long does it take you to style? It always takes me an hour hoping this technique will help with that

Mary O'Carroll: im thinking of getting the dyson airwrap and this is so helpful, thank you! you are so gorgeous too :))

Susan Craigo: OMG same thing with the hair dressers I have been to. Little to no heat protection. I have such fine easy breakable hair. Love my Dyson Airwrap. Still haven't perfected the curls though. It seems to just add curl to ends.

Jackie T: Would love to know how long it takes for you to style your hair like this? And which oil product you use at the end?

Priscila Bee: I love my airwrap but, time management wise, i think it makes more sense one pass with the dyson corrale per section instead of the multiple required with the airwrap.

Anne Leloux: Bonjour à quelle température et quelle vitesse réglez-vous votre Dyson? Le résultat est magnifique!

Christina Cole: Well that was a great tutorial! I get mine for Christmas! I love your sense of humor! Just subscribed!

Claudia Lo: Love your pin straight hair technique!

elifcimac: Nice method I will try this and leave a feedback, thank you ❤️

Oksana S: You are very lovely and funny! Thank you for the tutorial! And exactly my thoughts regarding the flyaway attachment! My guess is they want to boost dryer sales first, but not ready to purchase the dryer for that attachment solely

Kim Trevino: Thank you so much for this vid I always see girls with non frizzy and textured hair using the dyson and this is so helpful thank you so much

Deb: I just got mine. Is the air supposed to come mostly out of the sides of the brush? I don’t really feel any coming from the center at all. Is this normal or is it defective. Thank you

MissChocosugar: Thank you so much for the video. Just washed my hair and now I will try out your technique. I did it absolutely wrong. You got a video using the round brush? Much love

Fabulously Planned: Thank you so much for this!

Grace Accolti: I loved your video. I also own the Airwrap. How do make your curls last for a few days? What do you do with your hair when you do to sleep?

R V: Thank you! I had no idea how to use those brush attachments. Gonna try it now. My hair type is like yours.

Julia JP: It is very important at the end " dry" hair with cold air, this will lock the styled hair. Try it! X

Vency Priya: Hey! I have 3a hair. I have tried this method. But the ends became curly after 30 minutes. Any tips/ suggestions?

Ruby Smith: I have it and used it today and 100% recommend it!

Maria Montano: I’ve tried this a few times but it puffs up right away still

Claire Perkins: Oh my god, thank you so much for this, I just gave myself the best hair of my...life?

Maddalena Ajdukiewicz Guarisco: Thanks for this video is super useful!! I will try your hints

Esther Hutton: Wasn't keen on this brush until your tutorial

Fab13: Thank you no other tutorials like this one ☝️ … jeez is their a dupe out their. I’m a broke college student with the most horrible frizzy hair you can imagine. I have tried so many out their , and then I’m back to square one a mess . ThNk you for any info you can share .

Julie Caron: Great technique, but no need to buy that expensive Dyson Airwrap for it! I got same results with her technique with my regular blowdryer and brush. Thank you!

Diana Trif: Does it get very hot so that you can feel the extreme heat close to your scalp? It’s happened to me with many electrical brushes, this is a major inconvenient for me.

sophie Williams: I would so love a Dyson airwrap. I didn't like the supersonic but this looks great...it's sooo expensive thou...

Pallavi Agarwal: This is very helpful however, my hair goes back to being frizzy after an hour or so any tips for that?

Shari Sitzberger: What kind of heat defense do you use?

lihi oren: Thank thank thank you!!!!!!! You change my lifeeeeee ❤️❤️

E S: How long does it takes to straight all your hairs?

Gina Hari: This video just helped me decide... thanks Alana.. #Dyson should make u a brand ambassador ..

Gavi Bhambra: Your make up looks lovely, what lip colour/pencil do you wear?

Lizzy kalitsun: I will try it today!!

Rekha gupta: Hello! What temperature setting do u use ? And do u use cold shots ?

Moon Light: OMG your hair is stunning

selin kopuz: hello how do you done with your hair dips mine are always frizzy how do you make tension in the ends

Lorene Miller: I would love to have one but it is so expensive. I have RA arthritis my shoulders are bad and I cannot style my hair like I use to but this I could use. This was a great video thank you.

Cynthia Vasquez: My ends always flip out after a few hours. It doesn’t create enough tension I think. The barrels work well though. And I never use the round brush… I haven’t been successful with it.

Angela: Very helpful- and applicable to MAAANNYYYYY other similar hair tools and blow drying brushes - so thank you ! Charming accent…

Kate ♡: i dont have a dyson, but man this tempted me to get one maybe for christmas… i have the same thick hair as yours. slightly frizzy too. i feel like this would solve all my problems lol

Minal Patel: How long does it take to do this ?

Alison W: Honest to goodness I would watch any of your videos bc I absolutely adore your voice & accent !

ilka vancsa: How long does this hair lasts?

Paloma Medina: I tried this and worked properly until I left the house... I went for a walk, an hour later it was wavy and even frizzier than before :(

Lisa Kavanagh: How long would your hair stay this straight for ? I have the same hair type as you I really want a Dyson but I don’t no whether it will keep my hair straight for long or if it will kink back up

m 10: hi Alana! I’m not sure if you know since this video is a little old but I just wanted to tell you that the brand L’Oréal supports Amber Heard (Johnny Depps abuser.) the company still works with her and she just walked their fashion show in October :( I have stopped buying from them in support of Johnny and I encourage everyone else to boycott the brand as well! Great video by the way, it was super helpful❤️

La Duchess: I bought the newly released dyson airwrap and they have the coanda flyaway attachment now. Get it if you haven't!

Helena Lovelock: That’s amazing

Chaitra Ram: How long did it take for you? Would you recommend buying this for people with curly hair to get straight hair?
