How To Style A One Length Bob With A Flat Iron

My hair is a bit longer compared to the length I had in the last hair video a few months ago. Today I'll show you how to style a medium lengthed bob with a straightener. Hi everyone today, I'm going to show you guys how I style my hair with a straightener as opposed to a curler right here, I'm using irresistible meet Diamond hair styler. This fly iron heats up so fast and also has choline tips to prevent your fingers from getting burnt, which I appreciate so much. First, I'm sectioning my hair off into two sections and working with the lower section using the fly iron, I'm curling my ends inward to create more volume and more texture. Just go around the entire section and when you finish, you can take down the top section and start working with that. I have extremely thin and flat hair. So, to make my hair look a little bit more voluminous, a trick that I do is I take the flat iron close to my root area and kind of make a small? U motion by creating a kink around your root area. It creates more airiness and more volume, and also notice that I'm taking the strands of hair and going up first and then down that way. Your hair won't be flat four pieces around the face. I use a s motion to make the pieces a little bit. Wavy. First, I curl, I guess, close to the root area and then I pull it upwards and then I'll drag it down and then I will flip the ends out and away from my face and then for the rest of my hair. I'M just curling inwards again you and usually I'll, create more texture in the hair by taking random pieces and kind of putting a little bit of weave in them. Here you can see that I'll take a strand and then I will start from the middle section and straighten down and then pull it outwards to have that little curl at the end, and then, after that, I just kind of play with my hair. Until I feel like it looks the way that I wanted to look again here, I'm just using that s motion to give my hair more body and more volume. For this part, you can really take random sections. It doesn't really matter which, just as long as you feel like it makes the hair look more Airy. Lastly, this is optional. If you want even more body and volume, then I would recommend teasing the root area. But if you don't like teasing your hair, then you can definitely skip out on this. You can also, I guess, use texturizing powder to create more texture if you like, but normally I don't really like doing that, because it makes my hair greasy faster. So I just tease the roots to smooth out my ends. I use a oil and this is just a random one by Fructis that I had laying around so I'm just using that to touch up. I just scrunch my hair and let it absorb into my head hair and if you plan on having a long day out or if you want your style to last a little bit longer, then I would recommend spraying everything down with a hair spray. Here, I'm just using a random one that I got from urban outfitter and honestly. I don't really like the smell, but it gets the job done. So I'm just gon na finish it and you're pretty much done. This really doesn't take a long time to do. As for all of my hairstyles, because I don't have time in the morning to get ready, so I hope you guys enjoyed it and try it out. Let me know how it goes.
