Begin by following preparation, steps using Chi, infra haircare, start by sectioning, the hair into front and back sections. You may start in the front or back begin at the bottom. Hairline section place the iron at the base of the hair and lightly close turn the iron the direction you would like the curl to fall. The size of the section will determine how tight your curl will be. The smaller the section, the tighter the curl, the larger the section, the looser the curl, continue this technique working around the head to complete your finished. Look to finish your look. Denise Long Shiflett: I just ordered my very first flat iron, it's the ultra chi magenta shimmer. I'm hoping I can do curls like this. I've tried regular curling irons, my hair just won't hold curls!! Not sure why, if I let my hair hang dry it has some curls and if I put mousse in it really curls but are frizzy curls. When I use my brush curling iron I have to leave it in for like /45 sec. To even get the curl to stay!!!! Hoping this chi will help getting some curls and straight ing without it looking and feeling like hay!!! Any suggestions on a good heat protectant before curling? Thanks..

Larisa Clugston: I'm trying to use a chi ceramic straightener and it will not heat up. Am I doing something wrong? I'm getting so frustrated I am about to throw it out the window. Any help would be appreciated as I am feeling pretty dumb right now.
