Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so I'm doing a very, very requested video today from the moment that I chop my hair, everyone wanted a beachy wave tutorial for how I do this length. Hair literally cut my hair, so I could wear it in this style. I literally did beachy waves like this almost every day, even when I had long hair, it's my favorite style, it's my go-to. I feel like the curls last 3 to 4 days. It'S crazy and it seriously takes almost no time at all to do this hairstyle, especially on this length, maybe 5 to 7 minutes at the most. So even if you don't have hair this length, it's a little longer or a little shorter. I do feel like this. Can work for almost any hair length, it's very easy to do. I know I'm rambling, I'm sure you just want to see the tutorials, so let's hop right into it. Okay guys so I just got out of the shower, and I did my makeup and let my hair kind of air dry for a bit, but it's still pretty wet. So I'm just going to use my bio ionic whisper light below dryer and um blow-dry it until it's dry. I am using a protectant as well got this in boxycharm and it's the Brio Gio Aubry. Oh Gio, Brio Gio. I don't know it's a blow dry protectant and heat protectant cream. So I already put a little bit of that about here down just a little bit. You don't need too much normal way, your hair down, so I'm just gon na blue right. So one of the best things I can tell you it wouldn't blow drying your hair. If you want to make sure you get rid of frizz and close the cuticles or your hairs, nice and shiny always blow dry downward like this, so you close the cuticle when you blow up it like poof's it up and opens up the hair cuticle. So I'm just going to finish up below drying my hair until it's fully dry. Okay, so now that my hair is all dried, the good thing is once you use this, it's a full heat protectant! You don't have to do anything else, and it just makes blow-drying a lot easier and just kind of smoothes it out a little bit so for these beachy waves. The whole thing is: the ends are kind of straight. That'S the whole thing about it. So when you blow dry make sure you keep it, you know pretty straight as much as you can for your hair type and then I'm going to be using a curling wand, this one's from nume, it's the three-in-one. I think Titan. I want to say looking at it, I want to say this is like an inch it might be. No, this is definitely like an inch curling wand. So this is super easy to do like this takes me literally seven minutes to do my hair and my hair is a wicked thick. It'S shorter now, but it's thick. So I'm going to take a piece, maybe like an inch in diameter and then start at the top and I'm just going to wrap it down. Laying the pieces flat and I'm gon na leave this much out. So I'm only curling about half to two-thirds of the strand and I hold it for you know ten seconds maybe and then I let it go, and it's gon na look like that at first and I'm just going to go through and curl again, leaving almost probably Just a half of the strand out and I'm going to curl the top layer of hair, because when your hair is more thick and short, if you curl the underneath it's just going to like all poof up. So I just curl and I take some smaller pieces to kind of interchange them. So I just take like little pieces like this throughout the hair on the top half and curl them. So that's how you get the beachy look and then once they're dry, we'll brush them out and kind of fluff it up a little and I'm curling them away from my face as well as you can see some people like to interchange them for my hair. Personally, I feel like the curls hold better and last longer. If I do it all in the same direction and then on this side I'll do the same and curl it away from the face. So I'm just going to go ahead and do that around see. So, like I already have this section here and I might take one little one in the front by my ear, you can kind of play it out and like do as many it that feels right. You know some people might need more. Some people might eat less curls, okay, so I just went around and did the perimeter of my hair with the curl then brush them out or anything. Yet this looks a little wonky so um, let's fix it, doo doo, doo, okay. So after I do that, and then I like to go ahead on to the very top and take some lot thinner pieces, not like everywhere, but just a couple so there's some thicker curls and then like some thinner ones. So I like out of this chunk I'll, just take this tiny little piece and curl that just to get a little bit of dimension and you'll see there's like some tinier thinner pieces, because I don't know you guys have all been just requesting this video. It'S so easy, I'm hoping you guys will try it out and see how easy it is. So super easy okay, so you can do more of those if you want to so it's looking like this right now. It'S not too dark in here and I like to just go ahead and tussle them and just kind of pull them apart with my fingers a little bit and kind of scrunch at the root, because I personally like a lot of lift up here. So it doesn't look like flat kind of give a little scrunchie. You can also use a root lifter if you have trouble getting volume but see you can get just mess it up. I like these to be like messy beachy waves. Sorry, if I'm looking in the viewfinder, it's literally my mirror and you'll kind of see if you need to like recur light pieces which I might need to recur left I'm also in my robe, because I literally take forever to get dressed after I take a shower. Anyone else like that, like I'll, like stay in a towel for a while, then I'll switch to my robe and then like right before I leave the house. I get dressed, it's very strange. It'S just to lie so then I use my Garnier forties, full and plush volume. This is great if you want volume and you don't want like crunchy, curls, cuz, nothing's, worse and crunchiness, okay, just a bit of that, and I let that kind of step for a second, you can kind of a scrunch it. How you want as well make sure you get that ball yo. So now you can kind of see how like the ends are straight, so it looks a little bit more like beachy waves. I think that's really. The ultimate formula for beachy waves is not curling. All the way to the end, some people really don't like the way this looks I love it. I have forever. I'Ve always been doing it like this. Even when my hair was longer. I did my beachy waves this way on my long hair. So this is just what I love personally, so if you don't like it, it's totally fine. Do you and then I take my Marrakesh oil argan and hemp oil therapy. Any hair oil will do. I just love this one and take a teeny bit of that and run it through the ends just to make sure they're hydrated, but don't bring it up, cut it past the ear or you can look a little greasy, but some hydration is always good. If you want to like tease it a lot more, you can take a brush and kind of backcomb a little bit kind of fluff. It up more depends how crazy like it, I personally, I like it crazy and there you have it. This is how I do my beachy waves and honestly they last for like three to four days. Using that method. I don't know if it's the products or just my hair, maybe both my curls last a really long time, so that's always a plus anyway. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial on my beachy waves.
