Hello My Darlings!!

In todays video I show you how I do two hair styles that I wear a lot - space buns and bubble braids!

My hair is kinda short so its very possible to do these kinda hair styles on short / layered hair ... and of course on long hair too!!

All you will need is hair ties, small clear hair ties, brush and some hair spray!!

Hello, my darlings, i hope, you're doing very well in today's video. I will be doing a hair tutorial type video basically going to be on two of my signature hairstyles. If you want to call it that i've only started wearing one somewhat recently well yeah pretty recently, and that is the bubble braids, i won't lie to you. I saw this hairstyle on take talk and i watched a quick tick tock on it and yeah it's it's pretty freaking easy takes maybe one or two like bubbles to figure it out and then once you've done, that it's just smooth sailing from there and the other Hairstyle that i'll be showing you guys is my space buns. I always get asked how i do those and i will show you obviously my hair is pretty dang short. So if you have short hair, this is obviously going to be super helpful for you. I'M sure you can still obviously do these hairstyles with long hair or even shorter hair than mine. So as long as you've got about like this much hair, i would say what an inch of hair you actually will be able to do both of these stars. Believe it or not, because i used to have pretty short layered hair and i would do the space buns and with the bubble braids, obviously i'll show you guys how i do them, but we'll see what i mean by you're not going to need much hair to Do them, but yeah, let's just get in with this video. Obviously this is. This is pretty much how i wear my hair most of the time but yeah to do like this hairstyle. If anyone cares, let me just take it out lovely, but i basically to do like the top knot or i used to call it like the pineapple hairstyle because it used to be all over the place with my hair, shorter um. But i basically just grab like a section of my hair like that, like the fringe in the front bit - and i just basically do this - i don't know if it's gon na be easy for me to explain, but i just tie it up once twice and then On the third one i just kind of leave it like not, i don't make it go all the way through. Basically, it's just like a little loop, a loopty loop, but what you can do is do the exact same thing that i do for my space buns and i'll show you that now so to do my space, buns! Okay! Let'S just take this out what we've done! Okay, nice, so to do my space buns, i pretty much again have this sort of top section of my hair selected um, it's up to you! How i can't take myself seriously two things. Can i like make that stay behind my ear out? It'S so tangly, okay, i'll just leave my hair, like that it looks weird um. What was i saying, i think what i was saying is with the space buns. You can have it like all of your hair or just like the top bit or half of your hair. This technique works for both all. Should i say it's basically, if you want to like big thick buns, the more hair you put in it, the thicker it's gon na be, but there is a technique to make like thin short hair look thicker. If that makes sense, that's what i do, because, obviously my hair is pretty short and it's it's fine, but i have quite a lot of it. The first thing you want to do is obviously split. Your hair down the middle. I don't have the tools to do anything, technical or professional. I cannot i'm not a professional, i don't have anything high-tech or you know whatever i use a makeup brush to do my middle part kind of thing. You know lazy girl up in here. You don't have to have a thousand different brushes to do your hair and again, when i do space buns, i really don't care how center my parting is. That to me is good enough. You see that it's not like dead straight, but you know it will do and then i will take whatever bit of hair. I want to put up. So let's do a section like that, i would say: yeah like that'll, be the first space bun there. So you can see, i haven't taken any hair from the back, i'm just leaving that as it is so it's more of a front space bun kind of deal, then i'm going to take a hair tie. I'Ve got some on my wrists and then i will do this, so i just tie it up. So it looks like a little. I guess what you would call a pigtail right. We'Ve got this little dingly dangly bit right there i'll do the exact same for the other side and just make sure i've got the exact same amount of hair. I'M now eating my hair. Now, as you can see, i don't know if you can see. I'Ve got hair in my eye. This pigtail here is shorter than this one, because for whatever reason, this side of my hair is growing a lot quicker than this side, and i cannot explain to you why i haven't dyed it differently. It'S my hair's like all the same or whatever it might be from when i had the half and half. I can't remember which side my blonde side was on. I think it was this side, so i don't need it like it's not like it's over damaged or anything. I don't know, but it'll grow out eventually, but, as you can see like i'm working with two different lengths here. So if your hair's, like this kind of short, you can make space bonds happen because that's what i've been doing so, let's take the short side. Just take your everyday brush. You probably could be using a comb, but again i don't have comb. I have a tangle teezer, so what you want to do is back comb it or back brush it like this, and it makes it thicker. It doesn't matter if it gets short because you're going to just be wrapping it around. Basically, you don't need anything super long. You just need it to be thick, so the thicker the better what i'll do for now. I don't want to spray it too much, but this is where you would use hairspray, because i'm going to be doing another hairstyle. I obviously don't want to be spraying too much, so i'm just going to do you want to get something along the likes of these these you might not be able to see them, but it's basically just clear hair bands. I got these from primark ages ago and there's 500 in here and then yeah. You kind of just tease it and make it bigger like that, so you stretch it out and then this is gon na be hard to explain. Um. I know my hair is like kind of dark against the background, so that doesn't help, but hopefully you can figure out what i'm doing and then i kind of squish it like that. So i squish it like a pancake and then i kind of just start wrapping it around like that. So if i tilt my head down, you might be able to see a bit better, but if you can see i'm kind of just worming it around so it makes basically a bun like that and then i just put the hair tight over it like that, and Then i start manipulating it moving it about and then you get your messy space but i'll put my hand there, so you can see a bit better, but in my opinion, maybe it's because it's the only way. I can do it the messier, the better, because that's like the charm of a space bun so again, like i have pretty short hair, there's a chance. You'Ll get little bits that will fall out. So you can see here it's a little bit spiky there, and if that kind of thing annoys you, what you can do is just get another hairband and flop it down like that. There you go so it looks a little bit more neater, and that is one space bun. It'S a cute little space bun, so we're gon na do the other side. Now this ends up being a bit more difficult because there's more hair. So this one for me ends up being a little bit thicker, so i have to finesse it a little bit more. So again, i'm going to back comb it. I won't backcomb this one too much because it won't need it as much because again it is longer we'll do the little spritz we'll get the hairband ready and then again flatten it like a pancake and then start maneuvering it around. Let'S give it that space bunny kind of vibe and then we'll put the elastic band, because these are so small and tight. You don't need to like double it over and or anything like that, like you would, when you put your hair up, you literally need to just pop it over and it will stay. So if i do it like that, there we go this. One is definitely a lot thicker than the other one. So if i finesse this one a bit more to even it out there we go it's done. Let me move that over a bit because it was a bit close to the other one yeah, i'm happy with that. That'S how we do this one. So now i'm going to show you guys how i do the bubble braids so with the bubble braids, it's basically doing like a french plaid thing or like a dutch braid, i think they call it either a french pr or a dutch braid. It'S kind of like that, but so easy, so you want to put your hair in the middle. You want to put your hair in a center part in the top here and at the back as well again, it doesn't need to be straight. You don't need to, you know, cry about it, okay, so the first step i do. I always do this side because again this is the shorter side, so this takes a little bit more finessing or whatever, and then once i've kind of split my hair down the middle. I will just put this side up in uh, just like a little pigtail. So it's out of the way what you need for this hairstyle is basically your clear elastic bands, so i should probably brush my hair out a little bit. What you need to do to do a bubble. Braid is you need to take a section of hair from the front to start off with? I normally take about this much it's like a little triangle, so i've taken this amount here and i will just tie this up like so like that. So you have a nice little ponytail right there in your face it. This can get quite annoying, but you've got this. You can do it then you're going to do the exact same for another section of your hair. This time it needs to be a wee bit. Thicker than the first one, so i've got about an inch thick of hair there. You can see that and i'm going to tie this bit up the exact same way as i did with the other one, just sort of tie it around three or four times like that and then tighten it. So now you have two ponytails now what you want to do is take the front one, the first one and then you're going to tie it to this one. What you can do to make this thicker if you've got short hair like mine, you can kind of make it thicker by doing what i did with the space buns just poof it up a little bit, give it a little spray. That means the bubbles of the bubble. Braid is gon na, be thicker more juicier. If you know what to say, i will just take it like that, and then you take your elastic band and you just tie it onto the second ponytail like that, and then you tighten it like that and voila. You have got your first little bubble right there and you can just make it a bit bigger and what have you like? So you can see that and that's that's pretty much it and then you just repeat obviously i'll talk you through the rest of it. So now you get another section of your hair and then you just tie that up separately, so you don't put this ponytail in it. You just do you know a separate kind of ponytail and then you do the same as what i did at the beginning. You kind of puff this bit up here from this section here and then you tie it to the ponytail you've just made, and then it should look like that. So you've got like another bubble there and you've got this bit just flapping in the breeze there and then again, you'll grab another section of the hair, but you're not including this bit make sure you're grabbing hair from the back as well, because you don't want to Be leaving that out, so i just take that and again i will tie it up. It should be pretty even yeah again we're just guessing here, and this is pretty poofed up, so i don't really need to backcomb that, so i will just tie this ponytail here to this one like that. So now we have how many one two three. We have three bubbles now and then again we're going to take another section of the hair so that we're coming to the end now. But if you have longer hair um, you might be able to do a lot more bubbles. But for me, because i have shorter hair, i only end up being able to do like three four, sometimes five, depending i've done it quite over exaggerated for this video um. Just so you guys can see maybe a bit better. I don't know it might not have worked yeah, i will get another section of hair and i will do the exact same. I will just tie it up, make sure i've got some from the back. There make sure i've not left anything out. Tie that up. This can get a bit tricky, but we can do it. We can do it and then i will secure this one to the ponytail. We'Ve just done. Okay, so, as you can see, i've got one two, three four bubbles and then i've got a little bit of hair at the bottom here, which is a undercut that's grown out. So it's quite short. So what i would do now, i feel like this - is kind of like the end of the road. For me, if you've got longer hair, you might be able to continue a little bit longer um, but for me i think this is the end. So i basically just tie the bowl braid to the last one you've just done. We are done so it is very easy to do. You basically take one ponytail. Second, ponytail then tie the first ponytail to the second ponytail, and then you do another ponytail and then take that ponytail and tie it to the other one. So let's just do the other one real, quick foreign, uh, foreign, okay, and then this is the final product. There, so you can see it's all bubbly up in this and yeah it's as easy. As that again, like i'm saying it does take a little bit finessing, but once you sort of get the hairstyle down it's so easy, it will only take you sort of 5-10 minutes, depending on how long your hair is yeah. I hope you're all well and until my next video bye foreign
