Hi guys, I'm back with a quick video on how to wash your synthetic wigs, so I always get questions about how to wash your Gav wig Tony wig, Big, Shot, wig blow dry, wig, etc. Honestly, guys, though, this applies to any synthetic wig that you own. Obviously, if you were unsure on how to wash it just want to give you my tips, this is my freshly washed gabe smelling a fresh and looking very nice and full and fluffy. This is a bit of an older one. I think this is about 5 or 6 months old, so I gave it a wash, and I just want to show you how I did it. So. The first thing you do is just run your fingers through it to pull out any loose hairs or knots or stray hairs just to get rid of that before you actually go ahead and wash it as you can see, nothing's really coming out, because I already washed Mine, but you definitely want to go ahead and do that first, after that you want to fill a basin or a sink with cool to cold water. Now synthetic wigs, they are made out of pretty much a plastic fiber, so you don't want to use heat on it at all, because that will change or alter the pattern, the style, the curl texture, the crinkle, the kink, whatever it is, whatever kind of way you Have it will alter the style? That'S been preset in it, so you want to make sure you use cool to cold water and just put in a mild shampoo, any moisturizing shampoo. It doesn't really matter our baby shampoo. If you have it, if you have kids around otherwise, what's that brand called like resume or anything like that, any mild sort of regular drugstore is sort of shampoo put about a cap full into the basin of cool water and just swish it around with your hands To make some suds and then you immerse your wig into the water, get it fully saturated and start to swish it around slowly and repeat that, a few times until you get your wig nice and clean, then you're going to drain that sudsy water out fill the Basin back up with clean, clear water and do the same thing and then rinse your wig by swishing it around slowly in that clean, clear water once it's completely rinsed, take it out the sink set it on a towel on the counter to air-dry. However long it takes to air dry depending on the density or thickness of your wig, it could be overnight could take a day or two, but let it completely air dry and the next day you're left with this fluffy goodness. So I'm just gon na slap her on and show you what she looks like okay. So here's how she looks after her wash so at this point you can go ahead and reshape her just pull out the curls to the way she used to be fluff. Her up just get her back to your liking and you can always reshape with scissors at this point as well. If you see any like long pieces sticking out, you can just snip them, and so you get back to the shape that you like any stray hairs. Any straight hairs: any knots tangles any excess, frizz just use a pair of scissors and just snip those little pieces out. If you do find that she looks a little bit dull or dry, you can also use a a wig Sheen spray or a wig conditioning spray. You can find those at your local beauty, supply, store or drugstore. Sometimes you just have to make sure it's oil free, assuming your wig, is synthetic. If your wig is human, you don't have to worry about that. But if it's synthetic you want to use something oil-free and they're very easy to find guys they're everywhere. I have one right here, but there's tons of different brands that you can find so you just want to like spritz it a little bit and yeah. That'S it! How easy was that I haven't rocking MyGateway in a while and now she's all refreshed. That'S it guys. Let me know what else you want to see in regards to wig care or wig, styling, etc, and I'll be sure to get on that, for you and yeah I'll see you in the next video guys, peace,
