Loose Curls For Short/Medium Hair Tutorial

Hey guys it's Lindsay today, I've got a hair tutorial for you guys. This is a style for short hair, which I'm super super excited about. I'M featuring this Remington oval curling waving wand. Actually, this line comes with the glove. It heats up super fast and it has an auto turn off time after an hour, if you leave the house and forget to turn it off. So this is my hair straight and we're going to transform it into these loose curls with a lot of volume and body. So let's get started. First, I'm taking my Hannah Montana hair brush and rushing throughout my hair. I seriously have like seven different hair brushes, and this is by far my favorite one, I'm so obsessed with Hannah Montana. Now I'm spraying heat protectant throughout my hair. I hope you guys are proud of me because I normally forget heat protectant in my hair tutorials. This is the got to beat guardian angel heat protectant spray. Now I'm sectioning off the top section of my hair. If you have thicker hair, I definitely recommend sectioning off more than what I'm doing just so you can add more curls and have more volume cute. So I'm putting on the glove that came with the wand and it's time to go to town, so I'm starting at the front using my wand at about 410 degrees, which is the hottest this wand can get. As I said, it heats up super super fast now I ordered the conical wand, which just looks like your typical curling wand, but they sent me this oval, one which is better for waves. I mean it says that on the box, it's a waving wand, so I tried several pieces and I realized I wasn't going to get the curls I wanted to achieve. The waves are pretty, but I wanted more defined curls, so I had to call them back up. I'M using my sparkly rose gold cheat from Ulta to create more defined curls, as I mentioned in previous videos. I'M not sure if you can still purchase this exact chi from Ulta, but they have a bunch of different Chi's online and you can use any straightener really to curl your hair. If you're, unsure of how to curl your hair with a straightener, there are dozens and dozens of videos here on YouTube that give great step-by-step tutorials for beginners, so just type that in look that up and you should be good to go so I'm just going around And I'm curling different sections of my hair. I don't really have a method, but I do like to curl away from my face and I've said this before, but I do still get a lot of questions. No, I don't get relaxers. This is just what my hair looks like after it's been washed and flat iron. This is day two hair don'' t when it was naturally curly like after I got out of the shower, and I straightened it the morning I filmed this so yes, there was a ton of heat used on my hair this day, I'm terrible. I know I apologize hair. I love you, I swear also. I did add one clipping track to the back of my hair. Just to add more volume, I cut it to the length of my natural hair, so I wasn't adding any extra length, but I did want extra volume. So there is one clip and track in the back of my head. I'Ll, give you a hint it's Drake. So I'm just finishing up the curls at the front of my hair and I'm running my fingers through them to loosen them up a bit. So I'm going around and I'm touching up some pieces that I want to have more volume. I realized when I first first curl my hair. I don't really get close to the root, so that's why the curls are like looser and not as tight at the like the beginning of the curl, if that makes sense um. So if you curl closer to your root, you'll get a tighter curl as you can see, and it adds more volume and body which we're all about. So we are all done and I'm spraying my got to be sexy. Voluptuous voluptuous. I would say that wrong volume hairspray - and this really holds all the curls. I just love the entire got to be hair line and everything smells so good. So I'm definitely a got to be a girl. You can pick up their products at CVS. They might have a rap target as well, I'm not really sure so that is the final look. I hope you guys enjoyed it.
