Then you leave hey everyone, it's Kayla Shanice here and welcome back to my channel as promised I will be doing a wash day routine and if you guys didn't see my taking out my box brace video, then make sure you guys go check that out. I basically did like a length check after I had my one month old box braids in, but yes, I have the same top one, because I got directly to recording this video after the last video. So for those of you who do not know, I did the big chop in 2020 and basically, I've grown up with my hair perm texturized, whatever you want to call it, I just had straight ends and like thick Roots, I do have 4B slash 4C hair. Some parts are for B, some parts are four C's, so I would say a mixture of both if you guys didn't see my big chop, video make sure y'all head over and watch that I actually did a wash day routine, probably like twice. But these are the products that I stand by. I will never change and they do me justice. So, let's just get started with this video. If you're new to my channel make sure you hit that subscribe, button turn on your post notifications also follow all my social media, which will be down below my Instagram, is at Queen Kayla, so yeah my hair is just at you know the stage where you take Out the braids it's like Curly and then it has a whole bunch of gel braiding gel in it. So I'm also going to be sharing hair growth tips to all my girls, who want to do the bake shop or who've already done the big shot, but don't know what to use here are my shampoo and conditioners for today. So this shampoo is the Carol's Daughter, cocoa, cream, curl crunching shampoo for very dry curly to coily hair and the conditioner is the Carol's daughter, black, vanilla, luscious, moisture conditioner. So I have the carols. I also have the Carol's daughter, black, vanilla, detangling spray, which I will show you guys here are the holy Grails. These just Define My Curls 10 times more like, even though I blow dry, my hair whatever, when I wash it the curls just like they just that was right back. I definitely recommend that Carol's Daughter, shampoo and conditioner - and this is a black owned business business born in Brooklyn New York. Actually, I literally stand by Carol's daughter's products, um there's also other shampoos and conditioner that I've used by them, but um. I just decided to stick to these for the past few months, so the cocoa cream instantly boosts softness and the black vanilla, infuses natural shine. So as you can see, they work hand in hand. These are two perfect products for a post, big chop or just type 4 hair, and, like I mentioned, I have the Carol's daughter, black, vanilla, hydrating, leave-in conditioner, that's a mouthful, but it's for dry dull, brittle hair, and this is what I use directly after I wash My hair just to get it as detangled as possible, and this does the job all I do is just spray it all over section, my hair off and blow dry each section and I've never like found life so easy to detangle my hair until I've seen this. This product - or I I don't know what even led me to use it or try it, but stick to what you know guys. This is what I know as far as detangling my type 4 hair um. This is black vanilla, so it does match the the conditioner that I have. So all the products by Carol's Daughter worked really well for me and, as you can see like, I'm almost done and I went to Dollar General to get these products and they didn't have the black vanilla, spray day, moisture Jamaican black, castor oil. This I swear right after I cut my hair within two weeks. I saw growth, drastic growth and it's because I had like this twist out routine, not twist out, but this routine, that I used to do when I first cut my hair and I was using Wild Rose and Jamaican black castor oil bro. I will never give up on wild growth, castor oil. I would never because those always really gon na grow. Your hair like for real. This is what it looked like. It strengthens and restores the hair, and it's a leave-in conditioner. When I first cut my hair, you guys can check out the video I did like how I grew my hair in five months. This is what I was doing under my wigs. I would have my hair Twisted with the Jamaican black, castor oil and then I'll pull bar growth in my roots. I definitely recommend it smells so good. I needed a new one. I don't know when the last time I purchased one was, but I definitely needed, and so this has shea butter, peppermint and apple cider, vinegar, um. What else there are so many better benefits: no parabens, no uh mineral oil, animal tests. They know petrolu. I don't know what that is, but I guess um. Yes, this is also another Holy Grail. If you just cut your hair and you'll, just try to um grow back really fast, Jamaican black, castor oil make sure if your hair was short. If you got a TWA team, is it teeny, weeny afro or I don't know, I forgot all the natural hair terms, the the big chopped terms TWA, I think, but you can just do some twists with this product, make sure you get all of in your roots And then put some oil tie, your hair down, if you're in a house or whatever you just wanna, Let Your Hair rest and grow. At the same time, then y'all just need to watch the video that I made, because I can't re-explain it in this video. My hair - I don't really use this to twist anymore, but um. This is what really grew my hair super fast. So let's talk about this oil um. This oil is handmade 100 from Style by Janaya, which is my braider, my boyfriend sister friend just yeah so um. She had made these oils and I find these oils to be working really really well I'll. Leave the link in the description I'll also leave her website on the screen, but this is the first like black owned business oil that actually bro. I even told her. The other day, like it's, really scary, how every time I start using this, my hair just starts growing OD and if this wasn't working like, I was not purchasing it over and over and over like how I do right now, so this really works. I will leave the link down below um. This is her handmade oil if you're gon na trust a black owned business to grow your hair, just trust the this one. Okay. So usually, when I blow dry my hair after I wash it, I would use um this blowout Mist. I wouldn't even use this all the time. I would use the camera's water black, vanilla, detangling spray, but this is another good product um. It'S the Moy, moisture, um, blowout Mist, thickens Plus restores for weak, brittle hair, so anything for weak, brittle hair is really really good, even if your hair is not weak and brittle like just to enhance your hair. This is just how the blowout spray looks. So you guys are going to see me use it once I'm blowing on my hair. Those are really the main products that I use as far as hair growth, um. So without further Ado, let's get started with this wash day routine. I just want to get all the the product out of my hair right now, um. I have my braids in for like almost a month, but here's just how my hair is looking it's a little dry at the end um. So without further Ado, let's get on with my wash day routine now, but I'm really telling you guys: Carol's daughter is a Holy Grail, especially for Type 4 hair. This, not even a sponsored video. So that's how you know like I'm being dead ass, I'm not even getting paid for this, so so I'm starting off with my Carol's Daughter, shampoo and I'm using a good amount because I just took braids out. So, of course my hair is very dirty. So I'm basically just carrying that soap or that shampoo all over my head and just scrubbing my roots and scrubbing everywhere. Basically, so the key is to use your fingers like your fingertips to really get in your scalp to clean your scalp, because you don't want after you wash your hair, you still have Flakes and dandruff or whatever. So I'm just really washing my hair and I'm gon na do this two times. Thank you, foreign. Thank you. Thank you, foreign. So, for this part, I'm just separating my hair into four, and this is typically how I detangle my hair, whether it's wet or dry. It always has to be in fours, because if it's in tools, it's still going to be too thick to separate or to detangle. So I'm going to use my clips and I'm going to separate my hair into four sections and then I'm going to use my conditioner by Carol's daughter to just get it into every section and comb out each section with a large comb or a wet brush. Whatever you use to detangle your hair, so I'm going to use this orange comb because I left my brush at home. This was at my boyfriend's house. I left my brush at home, but this big comb still got the job done. Foreign. Thank you. Thank you. Foreign. Thank you, so the key to easy detangling, especially washing your hair, is to start combing from ends to Roots. You don't want to just start by combing through your roots, knowing that you're here is not even detangled. Okay, you want to start from ends and then go up like as you comb go up to your roots, and that is honestly the trick see how I'm holding um my roots down and I'm really making sure the ends are detangled and now it's so much easier. So yeah this is the biggest key. Thank you foreign. So now that everything is detangled, I kind of just passed the comb back into my hair to make sure that everything is detangled. So I'm still detangling still detangling and now that it's time to get out of the shower, I'm just showing a little length check. But now that it's time to get out of the shower, I'm going to use a 100 cotton t-shirt to dry my hair, and this is a trick that I learned when I first cut my hair and I've just been seeing all my natural girlys do this. So this is how I kind of dry, my hair, so this is me doing like a dry length check. This is the last part of my wash day routine and I'm just gon na blow dry, my hair, so I'm gon na use my blowout spray and my Carol's daughter, black, vanilla spray and just spray both of those into my hair. All around make sure if your hair is dry, these two products make it wet again or make it moist or damp. So I'm gon na use my blow dryer by hot and hotter. That'S the brand and do exactly what I did in the shower. Where I started from the end and make my way up to the roots - and I love blow drying my hair because of this bomb ass blow dryer and because of the products that I use is so much easier. You don't want to use the blow dryer with the small, tiny Combs, especially if you have thick hair you're, just going to be in a lot of pain and you're, going to lose a lot of hair. So at the end of this video, I'm really going to show you guys the blow dryer that I use and how the bristles look and just how bomb it is, especially for Type 4 hair. So I'm just going to continue by blow drying it from ends to Roots until the process is complete foreign. Thank you, foreign. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, foreign all right, you guys, so that was it for my wash day, slash blowout routine! If you guys enjoy this video make sure you give it a huge thumbs up. So my hair looks really really nice and thick right now, and I love it. My ends do need to be trimmed, so they will be trimmed soon. My hair just feels it just feels real, nice and free and the blow dryer that I use just now is a really really good quality blow dryer that I got from the beauty supply store. Let me see if I could like find the name of it hot and hotter all right, so this brand is called hot and hotter, and this is how the bristles look. I swear. This is the best blow dry. I'Ve ever used like it's so easy um and then plus the detangler that I used. It was just super super easy to wash my hair blow dry, my hair and get it into like a a nice little. I don't know what this is called so um. I do want to um, I do want to try per mods, but we're gon na see how I'm filling, but let's do another length check. So this is the front right and then, if I could get somebody to help me with the back That'll be amazing, but the back is right here. No, I don't have 4C hair like I have half four C half Four B. So when I first cut my hair, I thought I had full 4C hair. That'S what I thought, but just like exploring my natural hair and everything like that. I know that I have Type 4 hair for B, but if you guys enjoyed the video make sure you give it a huge thumbs up, follow all my social medias that will be down below and I'm gon na see y'all in my next video bye,
