Slick Back Ponytail On Short Thick 4C Hair| No Flat Iron| Natural Curly Low Pony

Welcome back to my channel today i have a slick back tutorial for you guys i obviously have super thick 4c hair. So i'm going to show you how to get this very sleek. It'S really not that hard. The key is taking small sections and, of course, having the right products, so my hair is freshly washed, and the only thing i have in here right now is some leave-in conditioner um, just to run through the products i'll be using today. So i always use my handy dandy, eco styler. This is my first time trying the gorilla, snot i've just always been curious. Honestly, i hear the consistency is kind of weird, so we'll see how that goes, i'm going to be using this style and shine. Foaming mousse by cream of nature and then you're also going to need a spray bottle in the spray bottle. I have a mix of water and leave-in conditioner and the leave-in conditioner that is mixed with. Is the alley k, naturals lemongrass, so we're going to start with the back, so i'm going to turn around so you guys can see how we do that. But the first thing i'm going to start with is with my eco styler, gel okay. So we're just starting with this back section we're going to take about half of the hair. That'S here, you can take smaller sections if you like, i'm just doing half for the sake of time, but i did do smaller sections. As i approached the top of my head just to make sure that it was extra flat, so we're just going in with our eco styler gel and we're just going to put that all throughout the hair, the top and the bottom and we're going to comb. That, through with a wide tooth comb and to make sure you lose a good amount of product because you're going to need it, especially if your hair is super thick like mine and then i'm also going to go in and brush it through. I recommend using a denman brush if you have one. I was definitely raking through my hair with this one, but this is all i had and then the last brush we're gon na use is going to be a bristle brush. This is just gon na help. Us smooth away those flyaways and really get that seamless, look that we want and then we're just going to take all of that hair and put it in our first ponytail. So i'm going to try adding this. Is it let's open and see what happens so we're just going to add that just over where we already made our first ponytail, so we're just going to keep continuing this process until we finish all these sections in the back, remember to continue to take small sections And each time you finish one we're going to add into that first ponytail that we made all right guys. So, as you saw, we officially have molded the back and with that hair tie we're actually not going to take that one out anymore. We'Re going to leave that and any hair that we add we're going to add it with a new hair tie and you'll see when i do it from like the tip of my nose straight up. That'S going to have to do we're just going to go ahead and do like a third of this section, so my hair is getting a little dry. So i'm going in again with my spray spritzing that one layer usual woman with our eco styler, i'm gon na put that on each half. Now i'm gon na go in with my snot. It really is like snot consistency like very interesting. I just don't know. I see a little like kind of throwing me off. I mean i don't know, i guess a lot of brothers are yellow. I don't know it's fine, i haven't. Let us look back in a minute, so i'm pretty oh look at the little girls, but i'm pretty excited because i said it's been a minute. I love a good slip back like in college. This was always my go-to wow. I love your texture. Guys isn't this! So cute anyway, so yeah like in college, i used to always do slick backs for everybody. I was known, you know if i had my little slick slick backs, especially when i had perm girl. You can tell me anything, but now, like natural girls can still do a good slick back too, like i said just it's just really patience, um, small sections and lots of gel, and you can really do anything. To be honest, to be honest, this could be like through the asmr asmr fighting this time. Okay, i don't know i'm weird, it's satisfying in my ears, anywho all right! So now we're going to start brushing it towards the back, so we can start to connect with our ponytail that we already have going on hey, i'm actually going to try to separate my baby hairs. I saw this girl do this on instagram. She basically waited till the end to add her baby hairs in and like did the little soup thing, so we're gon na try that and hope it's successful. I really love my hair light. I really slept on natural hair for so long. I was so ashamed, like my hair is so thick this sucks, but like you can really manipulate it to the way where you want it to be, and it could really end up being so beautiful and it's so versatile too, especially like 4c texture like we can Do so much you just have to believe in yourself and move quick y'all, because these curls will be like hey, what's going on over there and pop right back up. So since this hair does kind of reach my ponytail, i'm going to attempt to add it in with my new hair tie, so now we're going to take another two sections. Oh baby, see like my hair is really short up here, because that's where my level was, i literally cut it to like here like the beginning of quarantine, like i was like, i feel like a crazy person that was not gon na lie. I was going crazy when, like quantity first happened, i was just like it was just too much going on like with school. Okay yeah, you guys actually can never come back into the building you're online now blah blah blah here is a very hard course. You know get it popping, i'm just like huh and mind you. I was supposed to have a spring break, i'm like in desperate need of a vacation, because i never even got my spring break because literally march 17, whatever that week was when everything started, going crazy. That was the same week that my spring break was supposed to be. I was supposed to go to new orleans. I'Ve been to new orleans before i've been there twice actually, but i was really looking forward to it. Just you know, just like get cute dress up. Do stuff um, but yeah, so obviously, with kobe, that was a dub didn't happen, um, so yeah. I never got to go anywhere, so i was really unfortunate, so i'm definitely overdue for vacation. I feel like i was trying to go somewhere else with this segway, but oh cutting my hair yeah. So like there was a lot going on. I needed a vacation all that stuff, and so i was just like you know what we're just gon na cut the sweetbot out. It'S looking a mess, blah blah blah, but just wet scissor. Happy next thing you know my hair is gone. I was like it's fine hair goes back literally, so it's all good and i'd rather, you know, start working on it being healthy as opposed to having length or whatever, like look at these waves baby waves on slim, so they hate on him. Oh god, sorry! I keep moving my nose. My allergies are actually full. I fed my friend's cat earlier and i'm like cats, really i'm more allergic to casting dogs, i'm about to be a whole vet, which is crazy, but hey it's my passion right but yeah i didn't. I was taking allergy medicine a minute like i'm, really bad about like taking medicine. I just like taking something every day. It'S just not it's not something. That is. I try to take my vitamins, but i fall off on that too, but it's just hard like i even got like a pill box like an old lady but and i still that it still doesn't help like i don't know. I just need to get more discipline. Last section guys tis the day so bam just this is looking immaculate immaculate. I wish i was brave enough to do the little fancy. Baby hairs he'd be doing a little curlicue situation, but i'm not, i feel, like people are gon na come for me. I probably come for myself honestly, like some people can pull it off, but i don't think i'm one of those people and that's okay. You got ta be real with yourself. You have to be real with yourself, because people really will have you out here. Looking crazy, like i won't say anything like i hate when i had my makeup or like my mascara, is smudged or something, and nobody says anything i'm like so y'all really just had me out here, walking around like blue, beautiful, looking crazy look like a raccoon. They all said nothing, i'm just like okay, so all you all are fake, like y'all are haters, because you want me to look crazy but no, like, i said just check on yourselves just check on yourself. Oh i love it here. I really love it here. This is looking great, like i don't understand, we haven't even got under the dryer. Like i said, the dryer is an optional step. That'S just how i've always done my slick backs because, like oh my god, i see these little flyaways because, especially since my hair is different lengths, i feel like the dryer just helps smooth all that out and really get it to stick okay. So this is what the girl did. She basically put gel on all of this, and i guess this is a new news. I don't know it was the way she did. It looked more interesting than this, probably okay. This is looking like a l. Oh, oh! Oh! Let me not because before i would honestly, oh okay, i will honestly do my baby hairs after like i will attempt to do a little swoop, oh swoop, just whoa, who am i who is she? I would attempt to do a little swoop to swoop, and now i'm gon na start doing this with this soup cause this. Is it baby? Oh, okay? Okay, let's see if you want to join the party on this side. Oh i never ever ever seen you act like this before i love my little front suit. This is like my signature, wow um. I do have a little fuzzy situation over here. I'M gon na go ahead and add some more gel. The kitchen never wants to cooperate. This is nothing new, so i'm not gon na get upset wow. So now i'm gon na go in with the foaming muse that i mentioned earlier. I thought this also works. Well. Um with heat i feel like it helps you know, maximize the results and keep things smooth. So i'm just gon na add that all over the top - oh, yes, let the church say, amen all right. So now we're gon na add our mega wraps and i'm gon na look a little crazy after i finish putting these on, but it's okay, okay and that's our full coverage, wrap friends and then we're gon na, send it a dryer for whenever it dries a few Moments later, do i even have to say anything i just got out of the dryer well out from under the dryer and y'all y'all. What mike come on? Yes, this slick back is slick in the way it needs to get into it. Wow wow about done myself. Wow anywho now it's time to add the pony. I do like one little button that looks cute, so you can stop there if you want, but i'm all about volume. So we're going to add this ponytail i did have a different type of ponytail before i'll insert a picture, but i wasn't really feeling it um. If that's more your speed, then that's cool, but i found one of my old ones, and so this is the one. I'M actually going to use today volume, color, slickety slick back, but it's giving naturalista it's giving 4c baby. It'S getting versatile and our hair is slick. Our edges are on fleek, relax or wear. You don't need one wow. No. I really think this girl does not help, because i do slip backs often, but this one is looking different, so i think mixing the eco and the um, which must call it. The gorilla snot is a good mix. Usually, i would go on top of my hair with some pump it up spray as well. It'S just spritz to help it from moving, but the pump isn't. What are the odds? The pulp isn't working on the pump it up, i'm corny, but that's actually really funny, but yeah guys. I really appreciate y'all tuning in and making it this far.
