Hi, I'm Erin art, director of Headmaster's and today, with a lovely Katie, we're going to show you how to dress out short hairstyles using the Headmaster's big glam, hair collection. We just double cleansed Katie's hair using the color, brilliant blonde, shampoo and conditioner. The first cleanse will lift out any dirt or oil - that's in the hair, whereas these second cleanse will actually treat the hair in this case hasn't even harvest the blonde tones. The conditioner is also from the color brilliance blonde range and you just use a small walnut sized amount of product. The first styling product we're going to use is the root boost mousse, so you just section the hair off with your fingers and just lightly spray. Some of the mousse throughout the roots - what's this going to do, is just give lots of grit and volume into the root area, so you're just doing it through the top section, so once you've, massaged all that mousse into the root use the super smooth blow dry Cream, just a small amount in the hand, rub it in between your palms and just smooth it through the sides and into the back of the hair. So, first of all, what you're going to do is just start rough drying. The hair off to remove any excess moisture will do when you're rough drying is just using your fingers. We'Re just going to lift the hair up on the top of the head to enhance as much root lift as possible, whereas on the back hand, side you're, trying to keep it really flat and sleep. So just bear that in mind, while you're styling, the hair. With a hair dryer, so you can see just by using your fingers, you get lots and lots of root, lift through there's you very pumped up the hair and also just by not using a brush on the sides. Here you get this really. Nice must up texture. So it looks really undone so on the top we're just going to use a ceramic brush just to smooth the hair out, give it a little bit of movement and wave throughout it just starting at the front, I'm going to be rolling the hair backwards. What that does is drag the root down at the front and give a really nice sweep going the back of the head, which really helps to enhance the cheek. So you can see where the brush is given a slight wave and kick through the front there. Now, on to the crown, we just want to enhance the lift anymore and give a realized round shape, so we're just going to go over this circle of the crown here and just roll the brush smooth the hair, a really nice round body in there. So you can really see the effect that the round brush has had just to really help it harvest this shape in there. So just get a little bit more of a glamorous volume. So, to finish, we're just going to use the messed-up texturizer paste, which is really really lightweight, so you just use a small amount in the hand. A good tip with this is to apply using your fingertips and then reapply to your fingertips to top up the amount of product rather than going in all over, but sometimes that can actually leave clumps of product so just break your fingertips through the hair. Just help to define the lengths and ends and give it a little bit more of a separated feel. So you can really see the texture that products help to put in there. So, to finish, I'm just going to use some of the catwalk hold hairspray, which is quite light hold, doesn't leave any buildup on the hair, which is quite nice and just miss okay spray over the hair and let it settles and there you have it a simple Easy way of using the products to create a short messed up texture you
