Hey guys, I'm starting on Presley washed and conditioned hair, I'm going to section off my hair into three sections, one in the top in the middle and then the first one will be in the back, which is what I'll be working with. And now I'm going to take my leave in conditioner and distribute that throughout the bottom section of my hair, I grab small pieces so that I can work it in butter instead of grabbing a whole bunch at one time and if you saw my favorite product video, I use a whole lot of leave-in conditioner like a whole lot. That'S why I go piece by piece, because it's just so great that I use so much of it and it really protects my hair from the heat, and so I'm just going to continue to your work that in until I finished working in all that products. In my first section and once I finish working my conditioner and I'm going to comb it out and then cut it up in one giant flat, and it will look something like this and I will do that for four sections in my head. I divide the first one into two and I'm going to sit under the dryer to let this dry and when I finish, I will have six fluffy flats and now it's time to flutter. Okay, so to put on my hair, I make small little sections with a comb and I don't add any more product. Sometimes, if my hair is feeling kind of dry, I will add a little bit more heat protectant, but for my first section I just comb it out with the comb and I start at my route. I take my flat iron and I go over my root first because that's the puffiest part, and so once I flat out my route, I take my comb and I place it on my hair so that I can chase it with the flat iron and the chasing Method is pretty popular because keeps your hair smooth and freakin tangle wings, fluttering it - and so here I am making another set, and my footer goes up to 460 degrees. I believe it's not what it's a cause, not a Digital Reader on it. So you kind of have to play with the knob in order to set the temperature, so I think my flat iron and usually set around 4:30 at least I hope it is. I know it's not all the way at 460, so it's probably around like 4 and 30, or something close to that and, as you can see, I'm only going over eight section. One time the amount of can you use. You want to cater to the amount of heat your hair can take. You may need to set at a lower temperature or a higher temperature, but that is all based on your hair type and what your hair can handle, and so I just go all over my head parting, small sections and then cluttering it until I finish here's my Hair right after I got finished learning it. I always tie my hair up immediately after I finish but earning it, because I don't know why. But that's just something that I've always done, and it really does make a difference. So the last time my hair up is, I put one scarf around the front part, and then I take the back and divide it in two and I cross some one over the other like this, and then I take another scarf and tie it around the back Of my hair and tie it in the front, I don't wrap my hair the traditional way because I feel like it always has my edges laying all funny in the morning. So this is the next morning and I've taken off my scarves and I will not need to retouch my hair throughout the week. It will stay straight. That'S why it's really important to use good products as well as a good quality sweater. I promise you. It makes a difference I you guys enjoy and I will see you in my next video

Takita: Cross-wrapping is so better than regular wrapping. I don't have to worry about a cow lick in my head (all my wrap ladies know what that is lol) or my hairline being sore

Some Chick Name AJay: I really love how you wrapped your hair! I've never seen it done like this, but your method seems so effective and I will certainly be trying it the next time I straighten mine.

Amber Sumerall: You're so adorable! Pretty hair! And thank you, you just taught me something new, the criss cross hair method. I'm going to be doing that for now on becuz I hate wrapping my hair, i usually put a scarf on and clamp it up in the back, but I'm sure this would leave my hair much smoother :)

Tenae Skinner: you go girl! easy to follow and great instructions! thanks for the new wrapping method too! keep them coming

A. T: Love this especially because we have the same hair pattern and texture! Did you ever have the issue of flat ironing your hair and it coming out looking thin and stiff even though your hair is thick? Been running into that issue a lot lately! Thanks for the vid! Great job

Today's Special Minis: great result! I like wrapped hair, too, but for some reason - when I wrap my hair the hair on the side of the direction I wrap in always hurts the next day. If I wrap to the right - the right side of my head hurts in the morning. If I wrap to the left - the left side. The results are great and the hurt doesn't last long - it's not a headache, just like the scalp hurts from being pulled in that direction all night long. But I might try your wrap style - I wonder if it will work on below waist length hair. My only thing is - if I am going to the trouble of flat ironing all my thick, long hair - I don't want any crimps or bends in it. I see that the back of your hair had some crimps - does it straighten out during the day or do they stay in there?? your hair was super shiny and flowy and that is exactly what I'm looking for when i flat iron my hair.

Timecious Shantajia: We have the exact same curl pattern! Finally found the right channel. My hair looks exactly like yours when I straighten mine.
