How To Do Box Braids On Very Short Hair & Chit Chat

Hi guys I decided um after a while, after trying my hardest to go natural with the whole Big John thing, I've been missing my hair, since I don't know a week after I cut my hair off back in December um yeah, so I'm gon na put braids Back in my hair, since they are ridiculously overpriced in California, I'm definitely gon na do this by myself. This is not the first time I've done this before it's probably like the fifth or sixth time to be honest and um yeah. So I'm an amateur at this. I'M definitely not a professional, as you can tell it cuz. You can see something like hair yeah, I'm gon na get a rubber band just to like put that down just so. It doesn't look so obvious. You know yeah, so I'm just gon na show you guys what I what my hair looks like now compared to what its gon na be like. Probably tomorrow cuz, I do have work tomorrow at like 6:00, I'm closing so, which is great. So I can finish up here anyways, so I did part my hair and I'm just gon na show you guys how to like put box braids and on short hair, it's really short, so yeah, my hair stretched out is probably like 2 inches. Almost the interest would just create my sites. They are like a half of an inch off so anyways. You separated this part of it and I'm gon na put some it's control this stuff right here, instant control, it's amazing and has the bus hold? Definitely the best hold and I'll show you guys what it looks like. Hopefully, my ankles are right. It'S not gon na be a whole lot lighting, because we're gon na be facing the light, sadly see what I mean. Sorry, okay, so I'm only gon na take just a little bit and just like jealous up just so I can get a good grip on this stuff. Stuff is amazeballs, he goes and you have to make three parts just to get the hair into like three braiding sections and let's hop it here that I'm using uh, I mean it's okay, it just gets tangled up really easily and I can't stand it. But anyhow it's this stuff right here, laughs it three times jumbo braiding hair. I think it's like 80 inches long or something so I did cut that in half where's. The obvious reason for me. I don't want it to be too long. I don't want it to touch my booty, I'm on it. So I'll almost touch my butt, which I will show you the finished product, okay and it's in the color m1b 30 right here and while I'm doing this hair, it's gon na be a miniature review. Just that quick, little ten-second review - and I just have like this size right here and before you put the braiding hair and you guys you can't have the ants looking like this and this'll look like. I will show you, but what I'm gon na do. First, just gon na stretch it out a little bit this one that when you finally braid it, it won't be hard to actually um keep the braids to stay tight instead of having it like um come out so imma do this both hands, I'm just like pulling It basically you want the ends to look something like this, but I want it to be more, even I'm just gon na pull on the ends to my desired beautifulness. You know so my hair's not completely finished and I need the house today, because I have to take my dog to the UM. The dog hospital cause he's a cone around his neck. I wish was taking a picture. What does he look like? Is he burst? Like a blood vessel, so I got my dog. I know poor thing I think blood vessels in his ear cuz he kept cuz. He has like a water, here's an ear infection both years now. Sadly, he keeps not shaking his head. He a blood vessels are extremely thin and our ears, and so they burst cuz we're constantly flapping and hitting his face. You said see what the amends to look like this, yes know what you're gon na do is take a little piece. Um make your third. This is piece one piece to that: your grout for piece one. Then you simply just put it over the first piece. As you can see, then this small piece you're gon na bring it together. I'M just gon na bring these two together. Just like a hold, it bring it together, and we don't want this piece to be evened up with this one right here. We want it just to make a CH a bit longer, then you can find that combine the smaller piece with this, and it makes somewhat of the same size as these two pieces and once you get it together, trying to get as high as you can, but Not too tight, this finger right here with this hole is right here on this side, you put both your fingers on both sides. You twist it one time, then there you go, you did three pieces whoo all right, so i'ma show y'all my braids this, and hopefully you guys can see it. You take one piece for here. This last piece right here goes with this one. You bring this one over then you kind of twist it and you braid. Once I got enough of my hair and I know it's secure, I'm going to just simply read out my hair and you guys this took me forever. The first time I did this, which I did a crochet braids yeah, it turned out ugly, okay, the second time I did it. I wanted to give myself some type of fall on what they call faux locs and it turned out cute. To my surprise, I really liked it, and I used a different type of here - was it say, Marley hair yeah. It was gorgeous. It was like a red fish, dark, brownish, red, beautiful color, burgundy color actually, and I did mix a little bit of like dark brown in it. It was cute - and I think that's gon na be my next hair. So for the summer, or maybe even after this one, you see what I mean when the sides are. The ends are supposed to be like this. It makes it a lot easier to UM to braid it properly to keep it secure, because, if we're like, all straight you're gon na want to be as in a bone. It'S me looking tacky at the end, unless, if that's the look you're going for then okay, and also when you are running out of hair, just like this one right here, it's a smallest one, take some hair. You try not to like make a bump on it. I sometimes do that, but I mean hey: take some hair, you put it in this one under this finger, you just simply braid it and there's a little bump. It'S not that obvious, but it's all good. So I did start on this hair last night. I did two rows, it's proud of myself and I had to go to sleep, but before then I ate, because I was so hungry right now. We finally reached the bottom and you just braid as much as you can at the very bottom, because we don't want this hairdo to detangle yeah, see, and now we just twist it just to keep it secure. There you go someone they're gon na have like centerpiece of my head somewhat exposed because, like I said, I have to go, take my dog, so he can get the combing off his head in the bandage wrap. So this is how much I have left. It'S a lot: okay, look only these aren't small, so it shouldn't take you that long, hi, guys, I'm gon na, show you how much I actually got done and I still need to do like the middle part of my head right, yeah. So far, it's so good, as you can see, did you all this so anyways? I just have to buy one more pack, and luckily my packing here is like really long and we have like separate little packs as well so um it should take me. I don't know to those packs, I'm hoping the taking less, because I'm I'm so over like doing my hair cuz. This took me. I could have fished this last night, but I had another stuff. I did get done so um yeah. This took me mm-hmm like a whole like a day in, like maybe like five hours just to chew this for the time being, but yeah I'm excited cuz. No. I have here my head excited so yeah I'll see you later alright, so I'm done braiding my hair. I just have to like dip my ends in this hot water and then I'll show you what my hair looks like the next. What you're going to use is this moose right here, love it. This helps team. Whatever flyaways are going to be on my braids sorry, I just love how it jiggles me and then just from my African lady who does my braids, but today I need you to do my own cuz, I'm broke aunt. Add a nice Sheen stuff right here. Next, just to add some almost flavors I add - and I said me - somebody is and I'm done yay I mean it only took me like a day. I'M like I don't know eight hours. I could actually got this done last night, but now I have these drinks. A lot of stuff, so yeah I'll, be done. You know thanks for watching. Oh wait.
