Tell me hi loves welcome to my channel. I hope everybody is doing great um in today's video I'm going to do a little experiment, so I purchased this week from Amazon. It'S a synthetic wig. It was twenty dollars and I wanted to see if I could do a little DIY with it um. So the wig has the um adjustable straps in the back right here and yeah. There are no Combs like I said it was twenty dollars, so it's not anything crazy, uh, we'll see if we can rock it. So, let's hop straight into the video. So I'm going to tighten the straps in the back, since there are no Combs uh just to make sure that it's secure on my head, you go on your wig falling off alrighty, I'm going to put our wig cap on just to kind of make your hair A little bit flatter underneath okay and then I'm gon na pop this baby on see well all right, so you want to ensure that you pull the wig all the way down. Okay, this is what it looks like. I look crazy, but we are gon na make it work. I'M gon na use my razor comb. You know just to take off some of the excess here off the front. It'S way too long, um so yeah. Let'S do that. I'M sorry guys! My mirror is right here, so I'm just gon na turn a little bit. So basically, this is what I'm doing, I'm just taking off some of my hair off the front, not using the scissors um right here, just because I don't want it to have that. Blunt look: I want it to be kind of choppy, so just using the razor comb just take off some of her hair cut the bangs a little shorter. You can see it's getting shorter, so you just want to keep doing that until you get it to the oh. They did the event that you wanted in the front and you can keep combing it just so that you know you can see it properly and touch. Probably, okay, I think I'm gon na take a little bit more still too much of my eyes just taking off some more hair off the sides. Okay, so um! This is actually a good length for me right now, not gon na take off any more off the front, just kind of shaping the sides a bit, not touching the back really um, because I feel like you know, you could always fix that. You want to focus on the front, mostly all right, so take a little off the sides. You don't want your sideburns to be too thick or long. Let me see a little offer sides all right. My earring fell off. Okay, all right so guys so for the next few minutes I'll be doing a voiceover. My neighbor um started to play music and that was obviously interfering with my original audio um. So right here, I um spring some water under here just to get it damp um. This step is necessary because it helps with the molding process. It makes the hair more manageable um. I got wet right here, so I was just drying off the towel yeah so, like I was saying about the the water um. It helps with the molding process, makes the hair more manageable um. So once you've added the water and the year is damp, you will then go in with your hair mousse. Any brand can be used. Like I said earlier, this is a synthetic wig, so you don't have to be fussy or crazy about the brands. Any most is okay, I'm using cream of nature um here in this video, so yeah, you just wan na, add a generous amount of mousse um. Once the hair lays flat you'll then go in with any fine-tooth comb and just start shaping the hair, so I'm combing the hair to the side, ensure that your sideburns are flat. There are no snags in the here for pixie cuts. You want to ensure um that you know it's flat. That'S the key to our pixie cut, making sure that everything lays flat, because the hair is already short. So you don't want anything sticking out hanging out, looking crazy, all right. So once you've completed your mold and everything looks flat and in place you wanna secure that um. Normally, I would use wrap strips, but I didn't have any so. I use the mesh wrap which it does the job okay, but I find that the wrap strips um just mix the hair really really really flat and that's what you want, as I said, for a pixie cut, but the mashup is fine um because I didn't have The wrap strips and I wanted to make sure that the hair lays I um added a few extra layers um. So I used two head scarves, so you're gon na see that coming up now, where this is the first one um tying it tying it down, don't want to make it too tight, though, because you'll end up with a headache. Believe me that has happened to me before. So that's the first one and yeah here, I'm going in with the second scarf just to make sure that everything stays in place. So once you've um used your wrap strips mesh, strap scarves whatever you just want to make the hair dry for a few hours if you're air drying it. If you have like a dryer, you can sit under it on with the cool setting on hi loves. So I'm back um, my hair is completely dry. I had to take off some of the layering the wrap stuff, because I wanted to do my makeup and it was in the way um. So this is what it looks like right now, it's pretty flat. I'M actually surprised that it stayed didn't do anything to it. Just took the thing off so now, let's see if this experiment actually worked. So I'm just gon na use um these two Combs uh a little bit of um argan oil, not a lot just a small amount, because you don't want to weigh the hair down um, just to add some shine to it, um all right and then I'm going To use the column comments in the opposite direction, so we erupt it from coming in the opposite direction. Okay, hmm, okay, came out pretty nice um yeah, I think that's pretty nice looks alright, cheap and clean for sure. Cute little style didn't do too much. This was 20 on Amazon. You know it's not gon na last forever, but it's pretty cool. It'S pretty cute um, I'm just gon na turn around. So you guys can see what the back looks like and and that's it turned out pretty cute. Don'T you um so yeah, that's it for the video guys. I hope you enjoyed it um. Thank you! So much for stopping by and uh take care until next time.
