Hello, beautiful people what's up what it do, welcome back to my channel or welcome if you're new, i'm casey, and if you are new, please take one second: go down below hit that subscribe button and click that little bell button. So you don't miss when i post a new video, so i have been trying all types of styles on my hair and it's really exciting because i don't know i was kind of nervous to start playing around with my length considering it's the first year where i Actually have hair on my head since i shaved it off last year, and so i'm kind of getting back into the groove of styling my natural hair. So i'm really excited to partner with cream of nature, on this video, to show you guys how i achieved this. Really cute perm rod set on my short hair, i'm sure a lot of you guys already know of the cream of nature, honey lime, which i have right behind me. I actually didn't get a chance to try it when it first came out, but now they actually have two new additions to the honey lime, which are the new, intense hydration treatment, hair mask and the moisture and twist curling mousse. So in this video i'm going to be using the entire pur honey collection, including the two new products, i've always been a huge fan of cream of nature's mousses, like they had the best curling mousses. So i had high expectations and considering this was my first perm rod set on my hair. Since it's been this short, i think i did a pretty good job and the products did not disappoint. So if you would like to see a full tutorial using all of the products, then just keep watching okay guys, jumping right into it. The very first thing i'm going to do is wash my hair with the cream of nature pure honey, moisturizing dry. Defense shampoo. I am obsessed with the consistency of the shampoo. It'S super creamy, it's super hydrating. It actually gave my hair a decent amount of slip, but you guys know i don't detangle my hair in my shampoo set, but it did what it came to do it definitely cleansed. My hair, without feeling stripped if you're someone who's not really into clarifying shampoos, then you'll love this, because your hair is going to feel clean, but still hydrated at the end. So now i'm going into one of the new products from this line: the cream of nature, pure honey, intense hydration treatment, hair mask - and this is the one with yogurt it has pure honey, of course, coconut oil and shea butter. I definitely think that you need to make sure your hair is soaking wet before you apply this. I don't know if you guys noticed initially, my hair was like what is this just sitting on top, but the more i added water, the softer my hair, got the more slit my hair had the product itself is super thick, so it needs to be emulsified with Water, it has honey, of course, coconut oil and shea butter, and the yogurt is an added bonus that helps to really get into those strands moisturize and strengthen. So after rubbing that all through my hair and detangling, i did go ahead and let this sit for about 15 to 20 minutes and then, when i rinsed it out, i just put on my turban. So that way, i could let my hair dry just a tad bit, so my hair wouldn't be soaking wet going into my styling process and so now we're here to style to give my hair some leave-in conditio. I went ahead with the cream of nature, pure honey, not away leave-in detangler, and this product was a lot thicker than i thought it was going to be, but as soon as it got into contact with my hair, it immediately immediately gave my hair so much moisture. I think this is one of my favorite products from the collection so now getting into these perm rods, i'm going in with the new cream of nature, pure honey, moisture and twist curling mousse. It'S you guys cream nature, never disappoints me with their mousses. Immediately going onto my hair, i could feel it hydrating it smooths the hair so nicely. So that way, when you start to roll your hair onto your perm rod or whatever curling tool you'll be using, the hair is super sleek and it will prevent frizz. I have extremely fine strands that frizz easily. So it's super important, especially for me to make sure that when i roll my hair onto these firm rods that each strand is super sleek and tight to the curl, because if not, if there's a piece hanging out, my kinky pattern will show through. So it's really really really important to make sure that the perm rod is super tight and using a good curling. Mousse like this one will ensure that the hair is hydrated and keeps its form. My hair is tapered, it's a little bit longer in the front and shorter on the sides, and the back, so i did go in with like different size, perm rods, i used smaller ones on the sides and the very back and in the middle and the top. I used bigger ones, the smaller sections you use, the more definition you'll have as well. I like to do really small sections, because i like to fluff my hair a lot so yeah, i'm just going to speed through me, applying the rest of the perm rods. So about two hours later here we are with a head full of perm rods. I like to let mine sit overnight, but you can always sit under a hooded dryer. If you want these results, a lot faster, definitely recommend using a big satin, scarf a big bonnet or sleeping on a satin pillow. So that way you can prevent frizz and prevent the perm rods from falling out. So after letting that sit overnight here, we are to take them down and reveal the final look. I gently removed all of my perm rods. You don't want to go through too fast doing this. I can get a little excited, sometimes with set styles and just go through and pull them out too fast, which can cause frizz highly recommend taking your time, removing your perm rods and then once they are all out. You might look a little bit crazy, but that's! Okay, we're gon na go through and separate and fluff them. I really like to apply an oil to my fingers to prevent frizz when taking down my styles, so i'm gon na use the cream of nature, coconut milk, essential 7 treatment oil. This is one of my favorite oils for removing or taking down any type of preset style twist out sprayed out, because it's super lightweight, and on top of that it smells really good. So, like i said i like to rub it all through my fingers and then, as i'm taking my twists down, i'm just kind of rubbing the oil onto my strands, to prevent frizz and to smooth down the hair. Even more also, you don't want to separate the strands too much because it'll cause unnecessary frizz. So next, because my hair is like medium density, i do like to go through and pick my hair to give it a little bit of extra length and volume. So i'm just pulling tight on the ends of my hair and then just fluffing at the root, because you don't want to pull the pick all the way through. That will cause a lot of unnecessary frizz and it will get rid of the definition at the end of the curl, which you definitely do not want to lose, because that's how you'll lose the whole look of the style. So now, i'm just creating a little part on the side, i'm going to also put on some edge control. This is the 24 hour edge control from crew of nature, from the coconut milk line, also another favorite edge control of mine and i'm just using my edge tool to comb my edges down and to lay them in place. So after playing around with it a little bit more just to get the shape that i like this is the final look, i think it came out really cute, especially for it being my first time like trying this style on my short hair. I really love that with natural hair, it does not have to look super put together and each curl doesn't have to be completely defined for it to have a nice and elegant look. I will definitely be trying this style more often, and i can't wait to try it also, as my hair starts to grow out alright, so that is pretty much it. I will put all of the links to everything that i used in this video down below, for you guys. Let me know if you're gon na try this perm rod set. If you have like similar length hair as me, i think it's a really easy and quick switch up, and you don't have to use heat on your hair perfect for, like if you're going to an event or something a little bit more fancy. It just gives a nice elegant, curl something different from your natural texture without having to alter it as a longtime partner cream of nature. I want to thank them again for sponsoring this. Video give me a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and if you want to see me, try more styles on my natural hair, and hopefully i will see you guys all in my next video bye,

I’m thinking I may need to use more product on that portion as well a layer products such as using a gel & a custard or mousse on that portion. You hair turned out really nice. I’m excited to on my hair as soon as I figure out how to get tighter curls in my nape area.
