Dry Curl/ Wave Nouveau On Short Tapered Twa Hair | Curl Perm On Natural Hair | Jamaican Youtuber

Hi guys hello, hi, hi hi, it's Amanda and I'm so excited to have you guys join me today, because today, we're gon na be talking about the her, the her the her the her okay, so just a little backstory. I did a big chop in January and I was natural. However guys my hair is not for see. My hair is probably for a year or be probably a mixture of both cuz. I were little, you know, have a nice texture, not saying 4c is not nice, but my textures a bit softer, but it is guys it is wrong. It is very rough and so in general, when I big chopped, I decided to do the you know the headband around the hair and try to put in the gel on my Laura. But I realized because I've been natural before I went natural about three times and then I went back to relaxes and then no I'm back to natural. So I knew a little bit about my texture on how to work it and how to be right. A wash and go what products to use, but and this time now that worked nada, none of them the eco styler gel, none of them, none of them work. So I had to say: okay, what is happening, but then I realized that I had colored my hair cuz. If you look right here, you will see colored edges. I realized that covered. That'S the easiest, a mixed with mess to it, the texture, and so I find that I wasn't able to stand here. So here was a hot mess and it was so stressful. It was rough, it was course it was dry, it was just a mess, and sometimes I had to me the decision as much as I didn't really want to add to me. This is Jean, so my my hairdresser suggested why not try curly hair. It would look good, you have a nice texture, and so, when you dry curly would look, you know a certain type of weed and it would be more manageable. Sounds like okay girl, fine, let's do this, so I went to her yesterday and she did it. She did the drag girl and she could cut my edges down a bit and kind of get the button down and all of that, so it's kind of you know it's it's a little bit tapered, not too much and it it is um it's interesting. So I went to her yesterday. She did. The process was so long guys the rod they were tight. I had headaches right only took a few, it was a left hold my boat after 11. I got back home about after 4, so you can see, took a while between flying the chemical and then washing on the chemical and in between the rods and inputting the. I think it was the the booster and then she had to wash all the boots and she put in the neutralizer and then she was paroled. I mean she was in the probe for it to actually sky over here. So it took a bit, but I must say I was very happy with the results I'm going to insert pictures a holy looked after last night when I got home and so this morning I woke up - and this is the situation I haven't done anything to it. The only thing I did was use a washcloth, a wet washcloth, and why why the gel that was on the edges that made the baby hair, because I found that it was leaving white particles on the hair. So I wiped that hold, and this is all this all there is to it. So what I want to the tree. I have this product right here. It'S called Revlon curl, softly gel moisturizer and she said it's good to use, but it's not the one that she used. So I'm a bit concerned to be honest, but I'm going to see what happens so. Basically, I'm going to do a little mini tutorial on how to spell it's my first time, styling it I've never done anything to it. Except last night I put about seven bunnies. I went to bed, I woke up, and it was like this. What it wasn't this bad, but because I keep rubbing my hand in it, you know it got a little more frizzy and whatever but yeah. I am so excited. So, let's jump right into this, so the instructions says that I should pour a liberal amount into my hands, massage to hair and scalp use a cone or bra or comb or fingers to rearrange or arrange the curls and waves and smooth on for sleek anyways yeah. So I'm going to so I'm going to start with this. Can you see when you start with this amount? It'S not a lot just to see how hard in to feel soft already, and I see their decisis Itakura pattern coming. So I have a mirror right here. Guys, if seen, you're looking crazy, I honestly don't know like like how watched a few videos on here about it and I think it's the same thing that they call wave new fear, I'm not sure, but I saw some videos about wave movie. I never really saw anything about drag curl and so probably the same thing are these just terminologies but yeah. I am still waving it in to see what happens with it, and I see where the curls are forming they're coming nicely. I think I'm going to go in at another time and trip up, because I find that someone that will the color ends like right here. I find that they dare beat strongly strongly so they're just looking. So let me see if, when I apply some more product, if they will fall into place and behave, let us hope so yeah we're getting we're getting there we're getting somewhere guys feeling I feel the curls coming on. I feel them. I feel them in my there. It, yes, I have another product here by the same brand and it's called activator and it's said that it basically helps to revitalize dry curl. So I'm not sure phase with this product, or it is a case where, after I used it and it's dried - I just put it in I'm not sure to be very honest but um. I can try to another day here, not very risky, so my curls are coming in well right here, put up to it or if I have to just cut it cuz. I just need my hair to look. You know proper and I needed to stay presentable and I mean and the a my did - the babies for me to have a manageable hair, because it's really time consuming with my hair when it was natural, it was so time-consuming so to do thee. They gel because I used to put the gel right through my hair. I must run run my fingers through it and it will curl, but that has not been working, but I still do it because I don't get a same pattern. But at least here looks a little different. It looks a little bit better, so I'm just trying to see what I can do to get my I just became like my edges, so guys I thank you for spending this time with me. You know it's really a pleasure. I have been wanting to really do some work on my YouTube channel for the long as well, but I haven't been able to simply because I just did not know what expecting a little am I'm beginning to realize. More and more, that's you know at the end of days about helping people, it's not so much about. You know I even with discover 19 thing I saw. I saw a photo of a young lady that she basically committed suicide in America and in America, and I was like oh my gosh, you know so I just want to help to encourage people and for them to you know just to learn some of the things That I had to learn yeah, that's that's! Basically why I'm here I want to encourage people. I want to empower people. I want to bring people on my journey with me. I want to learn, you know, I'm just putting myself out there, just something I've been doing a lot lately. I think I may have to go to the barber shop and get these sides down, because I think I want decides to come down some more but um. I'M just use the product to my thorns when I need to go and then timely do the cognition and all of those things here is protected, because, even though I'm not necessarily doing a chemical process cuz it's supposed to last three months, that's what I was told. It'S supposed to last three months, or it can last three months most. I know my hair grows really fast, so I'm just going to wait on a few months and see what happens and honestly, I don't know if I'll make it to three months. To be honest, because I really don't want to have to deal with my roots under this here right yeah, I think it's going to be very harsh in terms of you know the whole different textures.
