Hey 'Bels, this is the long awaited video of my recent perm rod experience. I wanted to show you how I did my perm rod style and how unglamorous it was for me to get to the final results. I really hope you guys liked my take on this natural hair classic.

Hey bells, so this is my perm rod set. I am really really diggin the results. It was my very first time using perm rods and let me tell you, I was super. Super super duper scared because I could not get my flow right like I couldn't get them to look right. They were real weak and halfway through doing my hair, I had to freaking run to the store to buy more perm rods. I bought four packs of perm rods and twelve come in a pack, so I figured that that would be enough because I don't know why I kind of underestimate my hair or how big my head is, but um yeah, four packs was not doing it. So I had to run to the store with a bonnet with half of my rollers hanging out of my head, because my bonnet was way too small to fit over all of the rods so yeah. I looked half crazy, but I'm so happy that I redid them because yeah when I tell you week your eyes, they were looking real tragic and I just knew that I wasn't gon na get the results I wanted. So I am so happy that I kind of just redid most or the majority of the perm rods and concentrating more most of the perm rods in the front. Of course, you want more of the definition in the front. I decided not to pick my hair up at the base to give it more volume. I never get second day hair, so I'm hoping fingers crossed that if I leave it this way that by tomorrow or the next day, it's going to be like really cute. Okay, we're gon na think we're gon na see you if it's not a tragic madness, but I, like I said I am so ecstatic with the results of my hair, I'm so happy all of the products that I use to get these results. Were you be natural? They were kind enough to send me a box of their products. The main product that I use for my curls was the botanical soft curls curling cream and is for soft curly. Texture is best for loopy and spiral curl types I wanted to use this product since I hadn't used it and you guys I mean, as you can see, my results are bombs. Once again, I love my results and I hope you guys do too, if you're interested in seeing how I got these results. Please keep watching, but the items that you're gon na need our permits, setting a curling cream, hair clips, detangling, brush or comb spray bottle with water muscles and tons of patience. Okay guys. So this was not all easy peasy and I wanted to show you guys less struggle and that I had when I was trying to place all of these perm rods. I mean it looks real techy right now, but I'm gon na show you the struggle. It'S not pretty it's not perfect, but I eventually get it together, but you're gon na see I am so struggling and I don't even know what I'm doing. I really don't know what I'm doing you guys, but it came out bomb. So I mean that's all that matters and I guess I felt like if I twisted it, it was gon na make it tighter. I couldn't figure it out, so I figured one more twist for good measure which really didn't do anything and I'm gon na. Take that that little dangly part that has a rubberband in it and try to havoc cap it at the end. The only thing that you need to realize if you've never done perm rods before, is that at the top of the perm rod they have two divots on each side and obviously, if they're, for a reason, you're supposed to snap the rubber band and one of the Divots and what that does is just help hold the hair in place and hold the rod in place, and I kind of failed at most of that. So that was the majority of my problem and some of the rollers were not tight. As you can see, there's one just dangling, which I am going to fix a little bit later, but I'm gon na try it again and this one is going a little bit more smoothly until I realized that I trapped a rubber band in my hair. So now yeah now I have to take it out and put it back and try to clasp it again, and there goes the struggle. There goes the struggle it might come out. Looking pretty, you know what I'm saying and we do these YouTube videos and it looks like it's super easy, but it's not especially if it's something you have ever done before, and this was my first time so I just wanted to show you guys that it is Not easy doing this and making these videos it's not, we don't do it and it just comes out perfect every single time. There is a struggle, especially for me, so of course, I'm gon na take that one that I did not do well and redo it, but you guys. Let me just see me, do that again to make sure my hair is already detangle, I'm just gon na use. My Denman brush and I have already applied my curling cream to my hair and I am going to curl my hair up again and one of these rods and, let's see if I do a better job, I think I am doing a better job. You guys I kind of struggled. I think I struggled the whole way through with the stupid rubberband and trying to get it in the little divot or slot, but I did finally get my groove. I think when I redid most of them, because when I tell you they were a hot mess, you guys really they were a hot mess. So when I read it most of them, I finally got a groove, but I didn't get it on camera for you guys, but as you can see, I'm doing a little bit better right, I'm still struggling with the little rubber band, but they're looking a little bit Better on the rods, so that was my goal just to make them look a little bit better and spiral down the rods instead of just doing a regular like Roller set, and I think that I finally achieved the edge. So obviously here I sped up the footage, but to me I feel like this is probably normal speed. This is the speed that I should have been going. If I knew what the heck I was doing but yeah, so I'm just gon na show you guys how I got the last few in my hair and then we will move on okay. So, finally, I am all done. I have redone the majority of them, so they look way better and, as you can tell they're, not flying around everywhere, so yeah so y'all so yeah we do one dance. So it's the next morning. I completely love my lip and my makeup from the day before, and I decided to do it again. So no judgments, please it's not the same day, but now I'm just going to take down at these perm rods and yeah. Just get these things out of my head, it was the worst sleep I think I have had in a very long time. It was so uncomfortable it was yeah. I don't even wish this on my worst enemy. You guys like it hurt it hurt like hell. So finally, I'm getting them all out and as you can oh, it looks crazy easy, but this is what it looks like and we're gon na make. It look like perfection in just a second, so I use some of the UB natural botanicals scalp through the ointment and patted that on my hair as well as I used some in my scalp and now I am just taking each individual curl and separating them, while Twisting them around my finger in the same direction as the curl and that just helps to keep the curl shape as well as fluff out the hair, so gives the appearance of a lot of curls and just beautifies. The look I mean you're gon na see such a transformation. Okay, so here I'm just slowing it down, so you guys can actually see how I am pulling the hair apart or pulling the curl apart. I'M just twisting it around. My finger see look at that. It just keeps the shape of the curl, and it just makes it look so much better and it gives your hair shape in your curl shape. They look absolutely fantastic bomb and all of that gets stuff. So I'm just going to fix my hair, as every girl does look at themselves in the mirror and play with the hair, pull the curls down. All of that get cute stuff. You know how we do so. I have always wanted to get like an edge tamer to play with my edges, not that those are really edges, but I just wanted to always apply some type of edge gel, so my hair. So I was so happy that UB Naturals had their botanical edge tamer. All day, whole gel just look at that those edges. Won'T he do it won't he do it. Look at those edges.
