Perm Rod Set On Short Natural Hair | Hair Tutorial | Pvo With Precious

Oh, hey y'all, so i'm back again with mama sonia and as you guys can tell by the title, we are going to be styling, my hair, okay and i am going to be using perm rods. Now i am taking a loose one of the twists that i had in the back and we're gon na go ahead and get this thing, so you want to get you a comb. So what i'm doing is combing through my hair and i'm going to take this perm rod. Obviously your palm rods come in sizes, but i just have the small ones here now. First things: first, i do want to let you guys know that you want to try to proportion your hair with the perm rods. Now that does depend on what size perm rise you have now. You obviously do not want to get a huge. You know portion of your hair for a small perm ride, so i'm going to comb this through. You want to make sure the ends are combed thoroughly as well, and you take your perm rod. You want to place your hair on the outside and roll it under. Okay, roll it under so that your hands will go over if that makes sense. Yeah that makes sense. I literally had to try to do it to make sure what i said was right, so that is right. Uh we're gon na try to do another one so that you guys can see it better um. One other thing that i will tell you guys a little later. You want to make sure you roll it as tight as you can towards the scalp or it'll. Be too puffy once you know you take them out bladder on the perm rod. That is why you need a good product now you're going to take the rod, roll the hair over the top and you're rolling your fingers over over over over and we get to the scalp and make sure here. I just keep grabbing hairs that don't supposed to go just make sure you have your hair sectioned off really well, so that you don't have to worry about the hair getting all everywhere. I'M already tired, y'all, like arms, hurt on it, so we're gon na. Do this thing one more time you want to comb, your hair barely comb it. So you know, there's no tangling or anything put your mousse on your hair and obviously you guys don't have to use the olive oil mousse. You use whatever mousse that you have or the use that you use and you want to calm that out on those ends really good and once you're ready you're going to grab that turn rod and you're going to get to rolling. Now what you want to do is you want to pull the perm rod as close to your ends as you can and roll it very tight roll. Your ends very tight now something else that may be hard. You guys is sometimes the pieces of hair that you are working with may be uneven, so the way that you are rolling your hair on the perm rod, it may start. You know shriveling up on one side, because that side is shorter than the part. That is on the ride. That makes sense. I think that makes sense, so don't get discouraged when you feel like dang, it's not getting in there or whatever. Maybe you just need to pull those two pieces apart and do them separately, so i'm going to go ahead and speed it up a little bit and then i'll come back once i've gotten a little bit further. So y'all saw how loose that was at the root. Remember earlier i told you guys you want to make sure you roll it tight at the root so that it's not dangly or loose because it may puff well look at here, still dangly still loose, so sometimes you may have to take it or loose, and you Have to be, you know, okay without them to start over or take it out. So what you can do, if you have this problem, is twist it at the root. Okay, you two strand twist it. So you pull the two pieces apart and twist it a few times at the root and then just roll. It the same way roll it roll it roll it and now we're going to clamp it and let's see how that root is now no dangle dangle. Yes, sir yeah, i hit that funny bone and, as you guys can see it wasn't funny at all. I don't know why is that called a fun phone? Oh anywho, hey! I want you guys to comment down below and tell me what other styles you guys think. I should try on my hair um. I will be wearing my hair in the next couple weeks or so or maybe months and um. I want to be able to do another style to my hair. It don't have to be. You know with perm rise or anything. It could be with weave or anything i'm going to try some stuff, but i'm gon na go ahead and stop rambling because i'm going to be, you know, obviously doing my entire head and i don't want to sit here and talk to you guys about the same Things over and over, as far as how to accomplish this look, so i will be back once i have them done the finish, but this is my hair. After taking the rollers out um, i just when i took them out, i spilled them in half around my fingers back we're gon na be looking at this together. So y'all know that that don't be, and then i also realize you guys it is very important to make sure when you are putting your hair on the pern rods. You want to make sure that your ends are as flat as possible. If you need to comb the ends and then lay them flat on the rides, that would be the best option, because if they are not flat, then your eyes will turn like. When you take your hair out the rise, your hair will be freezing on the ends and we don't want that. I had a lot of mine to go that route and i don't like it, but once i've worn these for a while, i will be able to um fluff them out with my pink and then give you guys. Other looks where i can put a part, but i put some up you know so, but now i'm just going to wear these in this form and yeah. That is it. I absolutely love this look. I have not worn my curls, my natural hair and wow, so i was super excited. I wan na i'll probably just tie my hair up this way and yeah. So this does conclude this video.
