Hey Beauties!! Im back with another natural hair video!! Its been a while. I think this flat twist came out really good. I revisited Cantu leave in & Cantu Twist & hold gel. When doing twist outs, my hair really seemed to like them alot. I think its good to revisit products because just like anything else, our hair can and will change. What once didn’t work, will. lol. Let it shine hey you guys. It'S me cj today. I want to show you my flat twist. I have two different options that i have just the um regular flat twist and the definition and then another style as well so anyway, this product smells so good. My hair is freshly washed and shampooed. I use the alpha g, i'm textured hair, wash with the alpha g curlerific. I love this line and also the texture treatment by alpha g, the curricular grind and it smells so good. This is like a hair mask. It'S so thick and creamy, it's just very hydrating for my hair. I love it. So i'm going to start off with the side part and i'm just going to go ahead and use some clips to get that out of the way i'm going to use some cantu. Now cantu usually didn't work that well in my hair, but i always like to revisit it's really creamy and really kind and kind of thick. So what i'm going to do? My hair's already shampooed and deep conditioned so i'm going to section it off, i'm going to do not small flat twist but medium so they're in between they're, not real, large and they're, not real small, so yeah, and i'm just going to spray some water. On my hair, because it has destroying up a little bit, i'm going to take my denim brush and just go through and make sure. There'S no tangles make sure it's detangled properly. I already detangled it, but really when i'm doing these flat twists. I really like to make sure it goes through evenly, so i'm applying that leave-in conditioner the cantu leave-in conditioner that i am revisiting and i'm going to apply this on my hair, like i was saying i like to revisit products that didn't work that well but worked. Okay, but i noticed with doing twist outs and things like that - cantu leave-in does wonderful for that and look at these curls. They all pop - and i really should use this on a wash and go to see how it comes out, because my hair really likes the products doing a twist out not just regularly so i'm gon na try it again with the wash and go one day. So now i'm using the can too. I think it's the other twist and lock gel just to add a little bit now lost the footage with what i did the first twist, but it doesn't matter. This is a good example, so i used to twist and lock, and i use some oil, the um melon in order to seal it in, and i'm just twisting my hair straight down all the way down to the end and then right. When i get to the end, i just curl my fingers just curl the hair around my fingers a little bit, give it the little twist at the end and that's basically it so. I used the three products i used, the cantu leave-in the cantu twist and lock gel, and i use oil a little bit of the melanin oil by natural 85. I like that oil or whatever oil that you like to use, would be good as well. If you want to try this, so i'm saturating it my hair again with some water - and i really work the products in. I really make sure my hair is saturated and i'll go through it with the denman brush to really make sure my hair is detangled properly. When doing these flat twists, you really want to make sure your hair is really detangled, and so, when your hair, if your hair starts to dry, get dry a little bit just add some spray, some water. Now i am applying that leave-in conditioner again and i'm really working it in to make sure my hair is absorbing the product i have low porosity hair. So i really have to make sure my hair is really absorbing the products really working that product in and i'm telling these curls, oh my goodness, and so now i'm using a little bit of that twist and lock gel. I just add a little bit of that. I'M sorry i'm not showing the problem, but that's what i'm doing. I use a little bit of the twisting, lock gel and then i'm going and using a little bit of oil now once i have that all feel like my hair is absorbed and moisturized i'll go back in with twisting. I start from. I don't start exactly at the root because i like the root to be a little straight, but then i i start a little bit below the roux and twist all the way down doing the flat twist completely down. It'S almost like braiding your hair, but it's just two strand twisting all the way down and then once you get to the end again, you're just gon na curl it over your finger and that's it and i'm gon na do this come over my complete hair. Just all over so okay, so now that the twists are done, i am going to use some gray perm rods, and i think these are really good for my hair length. I'M not going to do them all the way tight. I'M just going to do them a kind of sparrow a couple of times, maybe once or twice around just to give it that sparrow type curl. So yeah do. Okay, all done! Don'T look at these parts. It doesn't really matter with the parts, but so we're just going to go with that. So i'm using my silk cap that i use just about every night. I have different ones and i like it because it has a silk lining in it and it's perfect for keeping the moisture in your hair, and i love it. So i guess i would get ready to see you all in the morning night night, all right. So now it is time for the take down. So now what i'm doing i'm using that oil that i've used throughout this process and i'm just putting a little bit in my hand just rubbing it together, because i really i'm not really worried about the frizz. But you know i just want to edit it gives it shine, it's also when i'm taking it down and it will help minimize frizz, i'm not like too concerned with frizz, because sometimes frizz adds a little volume. So i want definition and frizz sometimes happens. So it's okay, hopefully not, but we'll see so i'm taking them down. I just rub them whatever remaining oil, that's on my hands! I just rub that right on it and now i'm ready to untwist and i'm just untwisting once i untwist i'm untwisting in the opposite way that i twisted my hairs. Just adding the remainder that i have on my hair and my hair really looks shiny and bouncing the curls look defined a little bit of frizz. I think, but not much at all, which again i'm not really worried about, but yeah i'm going to take my big pick and i'm picking at the root i'm not going to mess. You know the work that i did going all the way through my hair. So i'm just picking at the root to give it a little bit more volume. So this is basically the number one look. If this is what you want low definition, this is number one style number two i like to go ham. I like to really really pick my hair out. I like full volume. I like big hair, so yes, i'm going to pick it to the hawks honey. So this is just what i like. I really like big hair and i like full looking hair so yeah. This is style number two. These golden tresses would be bomb in that style. I love Cantu but have you tried Miss Jackie's curl lala? I'm not crazy about the smell but the curl definition is banging!
