I'm finally back filming, yay! In this video I'm going to show you the various ways that I wrap my hair up while still wearing my twists. I try to keep my twist in as long as possible as a way to protect my hair and have as little manipulation as possible. As always, I've listed all of the products that I have mentioned in the video as well as any other relevant videos. I've had all of these items for years, but I'll try to find similar ones on Amazon.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, oh my goodness, it has been so long since I have filmed a video umm yeah. I don't even have an excuse like literally it's just like yeah. Sometimes, life is catches up with you and I never want to come here without having good energy. I want to like be at my best so yeah just like I don't know life's just been happening, but I'm like you know what. Every week I'm like I'm gon na film, I'm gon na film, I'm gon na film and I actually tried to send last week and my skin was breaking out. My hair was looking crazy, so I was like let's try this again another time. So it's the new week and I'm like okay, I feel awesome, I'm ready to film and yes, so I am here with the new video. So a lot of times, you guys ask me how I wrap my hair up like how I protect my hair. How I wear to the gym all those kind of things so basically in this video I'm going to show you guys the different ways that I wrap my hair up to protect it. So for me I keep my hair and twist as much as I possibly can. I don't take out unless I need to, and so I like to find creative ways to still look. You know decent and cute and not have to take my twists out, because a minimal amount of manipulation with your hair is what keeps it healthy like. I naturally have very long thick hair. I have since I was a kid, but I think a big factor in maintaining. That is the fact that I don't mess with my hair a lot I mean I'm pretty much just you twist. That'S all the time. If I don't go to us out, then it's a bun or a ponytail you're, not out of ten times during the week. My hair is in my twist and in a headscarf, especially like this. This is a way that I have been wearing my hair tied up. A lot lately just because I think it's so cute, it's protecting my hair. You know my hair is not causing any friction and breaking and everything from touching up my clothes and it's protected underneath this scarf. That was a super long intro, okay, so when it comes to stretching your hair out like there's a few ways that I like to do it so if you're just chilling in the house or if you're going to work out or if you want to go somewhere, I get that question a lot too. How do I work out with my hair? Here'S one way to stretch it out or work out or just clip your hair up. So I take this like big jaw clip I really thick hair, so I like to use the 1/4 thick hair and literally I'm going to just take it and twist it so by by twisting it I am stretching it out and then I'm literally going to dis Clip it so I'll, do it like this, if I'm just gon na be in the house, and I kind of want to Treach my hair out a bit or if you want to go out with it like this, like I said, if you want to work out, You can do that, so that's one way to check your and then you can just kind of like tuck the twist in at the top, and that will show you guys some of the ways that I wear my hair and like a head wrap to protect it. So it's super easy. If I'm doing a headband or a scarf, I will leave it in a ponytail or I can put in a bun. So I'll show you guys the ponytail one first and the scarf, so I always make sure to use silk as much as I possibly can on my hair. So this is just like a long rectangle scarf that I got from the beauty supply store any like random beauty, supply store. I have like tons of scarves or you go to like a Target or anything for my header, one that you should you do like a target or favorite 21 or something like that, a smaller and flatter your twists are the better. It will look but um. This is pretty much how my twist normally are normally or actually like for the past. Over a year, I've been wearing my hair in the middle, and so I decided to try to do something different this time and try a side prayer which I haven't done in forever, because my hair on this side just doesn't curl them. Oh just like almost straight. It'S like a slight wave, almost straight, and so when I put it to the side that isn't what the curl, but I was like. Let me just try it again, so this is one way you could do it to still be like somewhat cute like this is a very like beach, casual vibe or whatever you're going just kind of put it like this. I have the ponytail, I might do it in a bun, sometimes as well, and it just kind of like covers the twist. So I mean you can go out with the twist I'll. Do this sometimes I'll put little beads in it? I haven't done that in a while, but usually I just like to put on a scarf make sure to like lay your little baby hairs. Do your makeup. If you want - and it's just like really simple easy, my hair is protected. It still looks like you know, cute, you have to go out and you know around, I do whatever you got a dip or a lot of times. I will do it in a bud, and that also is a way that I stretched my hair. That'S pretty much! How I stretch my hair when I go out if it's still in the twist I'll just put my twist in a bun, you guys know how to do a button. So I'll put my twist in the pin like this, so this is one look. I know that I'm going to have my twist in for, like you know, multiple days and I kind of want to show my twist and not wear a scarf. You can just do your twist really neat. I didn't really do mine to display. I just kind of did it you know front twist out, but you could totally wear like this and like some little beads or a little decorative, you know shelves or something in it and it looks super cute protected. It'S nice and neat. But another way you can do it is I love using these little turban, um headbands. I'Ve showed you guys these before in another video. These come in so handy when I'm having a bad hair day, but this is another way to just kind of like cover your twists and still look cute still keep your hair protected and be presentable. So that is look number three okay. So next up, I'm gon na kind of show you how I like wrap my hair in like a high turban and a low turbans. If your hair is not thick or if you just need, like some extra fluff in your scarf there's a couple of things you can do on when my hair was shorter and I was so girl and get out from transitioning, I would use this. I purchased this on Amazon. I will link it for you, guys everything I show you. I will try to link these scarves or like random scarf. So literally you can find them in like February. One target the beauty supply store any kind of place like that, but these have the things I will try to link. I have also link this before. I will link that again but yeah. So it's something like this or something like this just kind of mix. The bun bigger, so you kind of have some fluffing there's my hair. It'S already in a little bun I'll show you guys how I do my load turbine, and this is literally an infinity scarf that I purchased from Target years ago, and I just cut it so that it's not you know a complete circle anymore. So I'll keep my hair in this low twist or, if I don't want to totally twist it I'll, just do like a half bun with the silk scrunchie, which I like to use so scrunchy as much as possible. But I already have this one in so I'll. Leave it, Oh with anything that you put on your head, I like to make sure that I have silk, underneath it, whether it's my scars on my heads or anything. So what I do when I have the low bun is, I literally just put on myself on it and it's kind of crazy, but put on myself on it to protect my hair, because this cotton can, you know, just cause a lot of friction on your hair. It can dry it out, it can make it frizzy and the whole thing is you're protecting your hair right, so you want to protect it, but the material that you put on it as well. So I'm gon na try to do this, for you guys as best as I can. I have it folded over double just to make it thicker, and so this is what I'll do so. You have both sides right, so you want to take okay before I turn around I'll show you guys, so I take both sides and I'm literally just going to tie it okay, so I have it tied like this trying to pull it as tight as I can, Because when you wear your um turban, lo at least for me, it tends to slip which is probably because I have soaked underneath it, but, like I said, I need my hair to always be protected. So this soap is a must. Okay. So that's as tight as it's gon na get. So you see you have both sides. Okay, so I'm going to take this first side and I'm literally just going to wrap it around. I'M gon na hold on to this right here so that when I pull it, I'm not pulling it off of my head and I'm just going to tuck it I'm going to do the same thing again with the other side. So I have this side here. I'M going to wrap it around hold on to the scarf again and literally just tuck it, and that is it, like. I said if you have like, if you don't have any twist or anything in here for here, is I can asleep fun it'll a lower, but mine always have a little bit of this. You know twist showing through because I've always got twists in my ear, but if I have to do like a showing or if I want to go out and get some things done, but I'm just not ready to take my twist out. This is what I do all the time. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen my hair wrapped up several times when I do a high turban. I definitely use my soap scrunchie, because I don't really need to do like a tight, bun or anything. I think I was mistaken guys earlier the way I just had my hair. If I don't want to do a tight bun, I literally will just pull my hair up like this, so that I can use my silk scrunchie and I'll. Show you guys what I did. I just did this and that way like, if I don't want to stretch my hair, I just don't feel like having it tight, this just kind of tucks in the scarf easily, but, as I was previously doing, this is how I'll do my high turban it like That and whenever I do a high turban, I always use my silk scarf. This is just a big triangle: silk scarf that I purchased on Amazon. I will link it for you guys. I love it. It'S awesome. I use it all the time and I literally just tied up like this. I tied it upside down here and I'm just gon na pull it back and tuck it. So this is all protected. So now that I have that silk scarf on I'm just going to take this triangle scarf and make a half triangle, so I just fold it over to make it a little thicker. So it's not so see-through like this and I'm just going to tie it on my head. Sometimes it takes a few times to try this before you get it right. So if you don't get it right, the first time just keep on trying it. Sometimes I'll literally have to do this like multiple times before I get it right and just like find some place for that extra piece to go, but okay, so now, I'm literally just gon na like wrap this around. Sometimes it comes out better than other times, but you know, like I said practice, makes perfect, is another way to do it. I think it looks super cute, like I said if you had like a really cute denim outfit or like a white like cute blouse, and some jeans, like it's just like a super cute casual away to once again protect your hair. Still look really cute. Still. Look very, you know, appropriate to go out and about, but your twists are underneath there they're protected it's all: silk, it's not out and about showcases your face. This is the time to like. Do some really pretty makeup, so it like you know, just makes everything fall together if you want to do some hoops throw some hoops on yeah. These are all my looks. Super easy simple. But yes, you guys always ask how do I wear my hair and twist this? I weigh them out so much. This is what I do as you can see. It'S easy any random, little scarves or headbands. You have would work and your hair stays nice and protected. So hopefully you guys enjoy all of these looks if you did give it a thumbs up. Let me know: are there any other way that you guys protect your here with scarves? Have you tried any of these ways? You know tag me in some things like. Let me see what you guys do. Hopefully you were able to see it really well, I explained it really well for you sorry about a little bit all over the place, but um yeah, it's good to be back filming. I feel happy and I can't wait to some more videos and share with you guys. So I will see you guys in my next video. I

victoria cherry: Thank youuu!! You saved me this morning with the low bun wrap tip. Never thought to tie it in the back to keep it from slipping. I did weight lifting with it on and it stayed put! Even got a lot of compliments today!! :)

Sheri Gordon: Love your videos. I may start doing twist outs instead of struggling with wash and go every week. This is probably more healthy, and keep it more moisturized.

Portia Lewis-Gray: - Just found your channel and I love it already. I wear my hair in twists all the time, and I love protecting it. I wear a lot of head wraps, and I also wear slap caps as well. Like you mentioned I have to have silk or satin on my hair at all times. Great video! #NewSubscriber

Myrna J: Welcome back. ❤ Missed you and Thank's for tips. I always use my wig cap that I purchased from Amazon but I will definitely be using my slik scarf's under my turbans. Winter is coming soon so I needed this. ❤

Obsidyenne G: So nice to see that you’re back. Thanks for the tips. Looks as though you’ve been working out.

Tee Owens: I love your channel. I did your dry hair twist out for volume, and it worked great on my hair. Question/Tip- I went to your store on Amazon to get some of the recommended products. I have brownish hair, so I had to click another item to get brown. I don't know if you will get credit, but you should maybe have links to both brown and black hair accessories

Grace M.: Love your head wrap tips. By the way do your wash your hair while in twists? Thanks for sharing & blessings.

Glendia Gomez: Can you do an update on your hair routine or twist out routine?

Shelia Bowman: Thanks for the video. We missed you❣

Jo Daviel: Do you have a natural hair journey video, sis?

Glenda Johnson: The blue scarf style would even work at the gym

Karen Pat: Welcome back!

Michelle Rodgers: Can u do mini twists please? I’ve been doing them for almost a year so i don’t need u to show me how to do them, i just wanna see how they look bc ur hair length and blunt cut is my goal and i just want to see how they look on you. Fingers crossed ur interested in them at some point!
