Elite Hair Care USA

PO Box 14

Apopka FL 32712

Hey guys Christel here from elite here here, USA. So today we are working with my client here who is in the process of growing her hair out. So we are going to do a soap press on her, so we'll use a conjunction of the hot comb for her root area, and then we will use our titanium iron for the ends and then we are going to trim her and try to get her in A better place right, so first things: first, if you're new to my channel, don't forget to hit the subscribe button and don't forget to thumbs up this morning, alright. So what we're gon na do, of course, is when I start by blowing her out okay. So, as you guys can tell there's a little bit shorter, I'm cheese in the face of growing it out. She wears a she wears a lot of braids and then I'm sure you guys can see that she does have pre-existing color on her ends, and that is typically where the breakage is at this point and of course, when she was taking the break he's out, we Don'T know how long I hear we might snip a piece here or there so no one's perfect I've done it. I'M sure Wright has probably done it once or twice yeah okay, so I've already blown her out which a little calmer out just a little bit more and then, where I see it getting kind of tangled more is that laughs and then, where I see it getting Kind of tangled more is that lying between her natural colored, natural hair and in the pre-existing covered here, so that can sometimes happen as well. The reason I'm going to be using the hot comb for her is because her hair texture is a little more coarse in certain areas, especially at the new growth. So when that being said, I want the press to last a little bit longer and with shorter hair, because it's closer to the heat zone. It'S Hippler wants to revert extremely quickly. That'S something that you would need to ask your stylist. That'S doing your relaxer. We can do Q & A so. What I'm doing right now is I'm so pressing with the hot comb. So pressing is just a term guys just so we all are on the same page. The silk press is just a term that is just a term that stylists use. We make up our own terms. That kind of thing so silk pressing is not the actual technique. Everyone'S technique is going to be different. Some people suppress using Flatiron, some people suppress using Marcel some people suppress using the hot comb, so it's more based on what that stylist prefers. So what I do for shorter hair is, I will hot comb the root area first and then I will use my titanium iron at the end. Now, if it's really really coarse in regards to the hair, if it's really really coarse, then I'll just use the hot comb just to loosen up that curl pattern from the beginning and then go back over it with the flat iron and then for the titanium iron. I'M using the h2 Pro one inch - I you can use my baby this too, but the baby this has gotten a little heavy for my risk, so I kind of slowed down on using it. So why didn't I go through and hot comb everything now, because I kind of I'm one of those people where I feel like it works a little bit better when I'm hot cold, each individual, strand or piece or parting, and then I'll go back over it with The flat iron and just lay it down right at that moment, instead of me doing a hot comb everywhere and then going back. I don't really like to do it that way, so the size of the party when you're doing the hot comb soup press is really dependent on that person. Some people like to do it really really small. I don't so are you planning on relaxing in here? Are you thinking about it thoughts, but it's been, I think I went to boarding school and that's wearing my hair went to trash because Jordan thinks boarding school, they don't operating, so they only like either naturally or you know whatever. So that happens. But you know that didn't help, because it's actually breaking at the color yeah and not at the new room. The new growth is actually really strong, an intact yeah, the color yeah, and that's why I always tell people I tell them for this. I'M at color is a luxury service that you have to treat it like that. Color is not something that you can get and cover it up. Is it possible to get relaxed and have low porosity here? Oh yes, it's more than possible, but typically clients who have um chemically processed hair. It'S typically high for us to be anyway, but I've seen some people like that. But I'm not gon na say it's. Not it's not possible. Alright. So typically right in the crown is the most stubborn, so in this area I'm going to make my partings a little bit smaller and if she has a lot of little hairs right at the base of the scope. So this is definitely weird. My parties get a little bit smaller and I go a little bit slower because that area wants to revert first. My problem is the most sensitive scalp yeah, because it's typically covered the crown is also the most coarse, because that is right. Where that little indentation is in your head in Jamaica, we call it a mole so we're about 60 % of the way complete. I can't wait. Till YouTube gets the point where they let you play music while you're online yep, so she definitely needs a not even to you, hey give you a cut or a treble can't really tell, but I know for a certain her front is going to be way longer Than the back, we already observed that part, alright guys. So here's a trivia question. I want everyone to tell me in a situation such as what we have right now. Would this be a trim or a cut? Would she be getting a trim or cut if you were doing this service Ashwin, okay, okay, okay, see I'm seeing a lot of trims. Some people are saying cut, okay, so for those of you that said trim, why did you say trim for those of you? That said, cut, why did you say cut how'd, you go, sir, unless you don't want it. Thank you because of the color okay, a correction of the cut okay because of the excess. What it's not okay, keep some length, okay, trying to leave as much hair as possible. Get rid of the dead ends to prevent splitting okay a little bit of both right. In her case, it wouldn't be a trip because her links are all over, so automatically a trim is just light dusting of the ends. So if I'm only dusting the ends and some parts of her hair is three to four inches but broken on the ends. Other parts of her hair like in the front it could be five or six inches and broken on the end and then for the back same thing. So if I'm doing a light, dusting of the ends, that's not going to do her any justice because I'm basically leaving the uneven cut. So it's gon na still be uneven. So a trim isn't going to really help because the trim is going to leave it uneven and all I'm gon na do is press the in. But if it splits a trim is not gon na help when it's over an inch up squiddy. So, in her case, while yes, we want to preserve as much length as possible, is it gon na do her any justice by leaving here? That, literally, is taking over that really good hair that she's grown out after the color, which she already knows that the color was the turning point. Am i right? She knows yes, even though the braids and all that good stuff, the color was the turning point. So why would I leave that broken color to go and eat away at the the beautiful natural color here that she's finally grown in and allow it to damage that here as well cut to the neutrals? I wouldn't cut that far the new growth? Okay? Well, don't wait, someone said you need to start natural locks, that's a big stretch. No, my reader! No we're not gon na lock her, but nothing like that. It'S in a new growth, we're gon na attempt to give her or keep his month linked as we can, which some of the splitting will still be. There don't get me wrong. She'Ll still have some splitting, but I'm not going to give up all fade either. I don't know the difference between a steam cap and a Heitkamp that just sounds like the company name, whatever name they used now they have some caps that are great for any type of hair treatment, but I mean I don't really think there's a huge difference. I think it's just a difference in name: don't go away just start from, like you can block until you're muttering. Do you believe in thank you for the person that acts was near. My elbow no keratin treatments for african-american hair is actually not good over time. You end up over processing that hair and heat damaging most of it so know what you got ta give me the food see another thing, I'm more than 30. If your hair is thinning, should you stop calling it? Oh, you don't have to stop coloring it, but I probably say to start using semi-permanent semi-permanent is deposit only. It doesn't really do anything for the hair that you use the same at the moisturizing foam revolution. I don't know I strike the phone revolution. Is I don't? I don't use that the only one I use in the foam is the front of others. That'S the only phone that I have. What can I do for sitting on the top and taking you depends on why you're thinning on the top? That'S a very vague question. You got to be a little more detailed. You already know why it's thinning or close to a reason. Why so you'd like to tell me the reason why my hair is so dry and it's breaking home? What can I use? I'Ve been using dr. Manson, shampoo and conditioner, but that is not working. It depends on why it's breaking off. What did you do? What was the turning point for it to start breaking? You have to just wait till the hormones balance themselves. There'S nothing! You can do about postpartum shedding, you can take some hair skin and a vitamin. You can continue taking your prenatals, but nothing is going to change until your body literally goes back to normal, so you kind of just have to wait it out. No stress is just the name: everybody uses a different name. That is just the name of the service. It doesn't describe the technique. Okay, a so price can be done with a hot comb, saran wrap, mended flat iron Marcel iron. Everything is done, it's all. It'S all name based a little bit diva. So oh I hate how boy doesn't do the job all right, because there's so much damage i damaged so much of the damage she did. I know it takes courage to do that, but my hair is so much better. Now, well, that's great, not everyone wants to do a big job, it might work for you, some people, just you know everybody different, nothing. That was wrong when, when either way, but everybody's different and a big chop doesn't always solve the problem, the big chop just takes off all the damage. It'S what you do after you have the big chop all right, so we are done with the press, where I think we are right now someone you can see them back here I mean this is a better way. We go whichever way, so you can see yourself. Okay, so guys for a haircut of this magnitude, you definitely have to consult with your client, so this is what we're doing now. So they can see. What I see. Can you see in your head? You can see your head. Okay was the light in the way. Yes, I got it now, so you can see the Buckethead yeah all right so right now, the bare minimum - I'd be quite honest - is about right here, right in your hairline and then that will kind of bring in the hair. Do you have in the front where it doesn't look like you're missing anything, but you can clearly tell that it's growing out and then we can kind of clean up. The remainder on the split in some areas are really short, so those are just have to grow. In and in over time as they grow in, we trim slowly to get rid of it. This is definitely a vital step. Whenever you're doing a haircut, don't just cut mine, please, okay, actually include your client in their decision of their own hair. So what we're gon na do is we're going to take her to a hairline bomb, because really and truly this hair needs to come off anyway, so a hairline bomb actually gon na be right below the hairline, so we'll be about right here. Okay, so we're gon na use the first, I'm not gon na shave. Her everybody's mind goes here. Everybody'S mind goes here. I think the Clippers out, so I'm gon na use her neck as a great line or a guideline for me, because I can't use my cutting cake. I think Abe is not gon na work here. They'Re cutting Cape starts right here. I'M cutting way up here. Okay, so I already know my line is gon na start about right here and then, if I need to do any more, then I will have the ability to do so now when you're, using the Clippers against the skin. Don'T jab in and I didn't want to use the edges because those are really sharp okay, so that's exactly where we're gon na take us and then at the free edge, I'm just going to use my comb to help guide me same thing on this side. Okay, so we've started our guide, which already nice already so now we're gon na go through clean it up. I'M not gon na do too much layering in the front because she doesn't have a lot of hair on the free edge. So I'm just gon na do a very minimal amount of layering in the front of the face and then same so we're going to go through and we're going to clean up the split ends that are up here. But I'm going to use notching. Just because I don't want to give her a blood line, because if you give our blood line now, that's how it's going to grow out and it's going to look really heavy. So I like to soften the cut Wow makes a difference. Nice. Thank you now, even with me, notching, I'm still getting most of the split ends, so keep that that's the napal. Okay, that is the main objective here. Did she cut us off when she came in while we were, can you so she does still have some splitting she's got the walk off singing lives, though I do my hair. I do my head. The first part of the song. That'S my song. Alright. As I said, I wasn't taking a lot off her front on purpose, so we have basically completed her corrective cut and then going forward we'll just slowly trim that hair that sweat away in the areas that was too short for us to cut into, and then I Think this is a good starting point for maintenance, so I'm gon na use the same iron in this occasion and I'm gon na use a little bit of our Sebastian's. Well, not my Sebastian shaver, but Sebastian Schaefer, Plus on her hair. She already has a little bit of frizz tamer and shine serum on her hair, so it up for me now for a hair type such as hers. The products that I most likely recommend, of course, is the hair skin and nail by men to help strengthen that hair. That'S coming out and I'd also recommend in regards to the shampoo and conditioner for her hair type, because it's fine but Cork's and say and kind of weird fine, but course. At the same time, I've also use the hair repair and strengthening shampoo and conditioner and alternate between that and the Hydra strength. And that would be the maintenance going forward and then she can also use for the hairline a little bit of the goddess serum. And then we have our new edge repair system coming, but I can't really tell you that one right now, you are watching your website information. Why are you reading the comments so fast? No tell me: why is she doing it like that she's lit up think she read it one time at one time. She literally went on three comments. Just now. I love your work. I won't be here Thanksgiving. Can you set up my battery because you are straight trouble with moderation? What do you mean by oh here is fine and of course, at the same time, so some areas are finer. Some areas are more coarse, so typically the back of the head is usually the healthiest part of the head. Why? Because you don't do much to it, but you can change your texture by things that you do to it. So the front of her head is a little more fine in texture and the back is more coarse. The front can also be high porosity and the back below porosity. It just depends on the different things that you've done to the hair that changed it. So her back is a little bit. It'S a little more coarse, I'm not gon na, say extremely coarse, but her front is a lot finer because she's done so much more to the front. We'Re a tribal porosity, relaxed here, um the hair repair and strengthening shampoo and conditioner, either desire serum or the growth elixir depending on. If you can use products that contain lon, THC CBD or not some people's jobs just say no, they don't care what it is. Even though it doesn't really apply to it, it looks so much healthier, she's scared to say thank you hi, I'm from South Africa. This cut is amazing, hey she's from Kenya, that's not even close, no, but it's still one continent and guys for all the products that you hear me recommending. If you use code YouTube, you'll save 15 % off by going to unique haircare usa.com and my products aren't sold anywhere else, so you'll never find them anywhere else there. That is an extremely vague question. It goes by the characteristics of your hair, the porosity, the texture products. Would you recommend for gray hair to make it to give it more volume? Oh, that's something! You need to go to a stylist for neither it's thin and that's gon na make dinner yeah because she said your products they gon na, be in Sally's from oh they'll, be in Sally's and Target and Walmart name. I'M Emily Sally's Target Walmart everybody. The YouTube code. Does not work for me it's working now now it doesn't work on kits. I tried to shoot you my head literally hurted. I used the flat iron and a straightening comb. How can I keep it from don't? What'S that? Listen, let them do it for you. Sometimes you can't give it as polished as you would when you go to a salon and it might revert either. Even if you go to a salon, nothing stops the reversion. It depends on what your hair is used to to be trained it, the environment that you're in did you do the press the right way, the first time there's so many different reasons, but the main reason is environment, and if your hair understands what you're doing so, Sometimes people who get their press for the first time the hair will revert in like less than a day, all right. So we're doing the last piece here I can't find my reek, so I can't find my rake so we're just gon na use our rat tail comb, I'm gon na spray, a very small amount of spray gloss on her here and we're just gon na use. Those little hairs just to accentuate so, instead of them being a negative, they become a positive. She said. Thank you for that. Thank you. No, you know I just try um it used to be burgundy, so this is from this is from it fainting. So I mean, if you're looking for the actual color - and this is more like a chestnut mahogany - you can get mahogany too alright. So what I'm gon na do now is now that she's actually styled. This is the great a great time to go back and look at there's any hairs that you might have missed. That'Ll made her look. Ten, oh yes bring her with a little bit of holding spray only because she is still natural and at the end of the day, this hair is going to want to do whatever it wants to do. But we can hold it down because we're in Florida and because her hairline is a little finer, I'm just going to use a little bit of hairspray just to kind of hold and tame her baby hairs. Here you can't use edged Tamra on everybody. It makes it look, wet and separate. Thank you, darling, beautiful congratulations. Thank you, darling, marvelous, all right guys, so she is all done so, as I said, she's 100 % natural. We did a shampoo. Actually. The shampoo that I use today is the hair repair and growth. Shampoo then, I used a little bit of mazzani thermos muth conditioner and I put her under the hydration machine to have a hydration therapy treatment along with the mazzani, because her hair is short. I needed something that was going to be able to make it a little easier to smooth out so, for those of you, who've been wondering about the products I'm giving you all the products that I use today. If you notice, I didn't use the hair repair and growth conditioner, I used a different conditioner, so you can also do that as well as not always. Oh, I have to use this system, you use what you need at that time. High you use what you need at that time for whatever, whatever your your in need of. So it's not always going to be the same thing, and then I used a little bit of the uni hydration therapy. Leave-In treatment at the end leave it at the end and we used a little bit of the frizz tamer and shine serum and some sebastian Schaefer styling. Thank you darling. I saw except I don't and I don't think my husband would appreciate me cutting a man's hair. If you saw me in my chair what's going on, if he is dress yes, but I don't even see well, okay, I'm so I hope everybody has a great weekend. I do have videos um come I'm actually about to do a video right now, but I'm not gon na doing it live. She don't even know what to do. I'M just method over right now upload that video right here right here yeah here you would die, but you guys don't forget, you're, getting new to my channel thumbs up this video right now. So if everybody could close out the chat go in right now and thumbs up this video, I would greatly appreciate it I'll wait. A second before I sign off and in the meantime I'll be uploading. Two new videos, one is the actual shortcut transformation after I have to shortcut transformations for today and then you guys will be able to see what's happening. Thank you guys, but don't forget on my YouTube family for all of the products that I mentioned. Excluding the Sebastian shaper almond mazzani products you can get by going to eat, haircare usa.com a use code YouTube to save an additional 15 per cents and all the products are in stock, except for the well actually, no everything's and stuff. Everything is in stuff I'll see. You guys in the next video you

Lady Love: I love the respect you have for clients hair no matter what type of hair you are doing

yvonne brown: I am so glad more and more black professionals are doing natural hair. When I started my journey back 2004 very few stylists would tackle natural hair. But an Italian male stylist in Boston Ma gave me a silk press and I never put relaxants in my hair again

Stephanie Grace: the hair looks so much nicer once it is cut and alot of the dead ends are removed. I love seeing the results! It always looks so much healthier and full!

shola: That first cut made the world of a difference. The cut is everything.

Nikki: Wow!! It's amazing how a cut makes the hair look so healthy!! Awesome job! Beautiful client.

Estell F Lee Washington: Great job Crystal. I have watched this video more times than I can count. It’s because; out of the hundreds of hair videos I have watched, this is the one that resembles my hair texture and it gives me hope for what my natural hair could look like. I made 1 year in March since my most recent big chop! Her hair looks amazing! Thank you soooo much for this video!❤️

Danielle Evans: I love how you explain the process to your clients, explaining everyone's hair is different and how to treat each individuals hair

Tianna Daniels: As soon as you cut it. Her hair started to look VERYYYY good already. I love it.

Nelly Fromdablock: I use to wear my hair like this so timeless and ageless and a great way to see and keep track of your progress

DearMsFabulous: I didn't think it would look so amazing. Great job!

Sharon Watts: Her hair looks fabulous as usual done by you Crystal❤❤❤ You do amazing work!!!

A NecoLady James: You did an excellent job. Her hair looks beautiful!!! It's like night and day, from when you started. You have a great personality also. Blessings

M Badger: Unbelievable! I am sooo glad that I withheld my initial thoughts. I originally thought there was no hope, but as soon as she hit it with the shaver, it started to look great. I am so impressed. She has a nice nape line too for this short cut.yaay!!!

Barbie German: Her corrective cut came out soooo beautiful and looks great. Thank you so much for the Education as well. I come from a very mixed family and most of us Girls in our family have Medium to very thick and wavy to kinky hair. One of my Aunties is Puertorican and when we were younger she would use Three Flowers or in Spanish it's called Tres flores. It is an oily goop but not as nice as an Edge control product. Because of it being oily, our hair would attract lint throughout the day...It was terrible. I wish she had known about Brown gel back then. I didnt start using it until I was 20 years old when I went to Cometology school. I will be 49 this year in June and haven't stopped using it yet. I love your channel and really appreciate your teaching. The Lord bless you and Family. I will definitely keep watching.

shawn jasper: You did a fabulous job, her hair turn out beautiful. She look absolutely gorgeous. And you are a great stylous

Zandra Danzey: Wish my state had a stylist like you ...you show so much love to your clients and they hair ...thanks for sharing and caring

Iwontrespond: You're not a freaking beautician! You're a freaking magician!!!!!! You did some magic on that girl's hair, #beautiful #unbelievable ♥️

S Jenn: I agree, as soon as all the dead ends was cut the hair started looking healthier and thicker, look so much better.❤

Shaundrigues Elston: This was a phenomenal job and I'm impressed

Marneen Carter: I just asked this question about the term “Silk Press.” When this “service” was initially introduced to the Natural Hair Community; what I LEARNED was that it IS a “treatment” that requires an “oil-blend in conjunction with the use of heat” which takes a standard “press” to a “silk-out.” Over YT-time, the term has been used interchangeably with standard presses. Because of course on YT, not everyone has a professional background, people are using “terminology” that they hear used, and not necessarily understand the differences where there are some. You say, that “It’s just a term?” Which totally makes sense to how many others also don’t seem to accept it to be a #specific service? Interesting.

Melanie Wrenn: I love watching you do hair. It's so relaxing and gratifying. It's just so amazing seeing you restore healthy texture, shine and body to damaged hair. I would be falling asleep in your chair though, lol. Growing up with 4 sisters and all of us loved doing fun stuff with each other's long hair, so relaxing for me still.

Sueli Nogueira: Perfeito, trabalhar com esse pente quente não deve ser nada fácil e o cabelo dessa jovem ficou lindo, parabéns as duas.

Dorothée: She looks so beautiful! What a wonderful job you did!

OLHA ELAAA: NOSSA COMO QUERIA TER VC AQUI NO BRASIL MARATONANDO SEUS VÍDEOS. APAIXONADA POR TRABALHOS ASSIM

Ali Parker: I've been watching your videos for a while now and I want to tell you how much I enjoy them and you. I am native American and white but I love watching you. I have learned so much about African American hair and the treatments you have to go through to make your hair so beautiful. It makes me more appreciative of the little I have to do with my hair. I love your personality and your way of including your watchers in your videos. It gives me so much pleasure to watch you. I look forward to seeing more from you. Thank you. Ali Marie.

lickitysplits: Also I see you get alot of joy out of making your client feel comfortable. Very good. I'm liking your spirit

Sheila Barrett: I've been watching you but only today decided to subscribe. I like your cheerfulness and the thorough care you give your clients. This client's hair was really pretty when you finished her. I'll keep watching!

Cathie Lee: Fabulous transformation!

Tam Scott: You did such a great job on her hair, it looks beautiful!

Mina Gulke: BEAUTIFUL job! Love it!

cacelia bryant: You have done marvelous job on this client. You saved her hair and you made her look Gorgeous. Great job

Sonia Sierras: Omg! I love it! It's going to grow nicely now! Excellent job! She looks Fantabulous!!

Mary J Flanagan: I like how you braid and twist the hair and put them under the dryer. However, my hair is very short. I typically let my hair air dry about 60%, blow dry, hot brush, then flat iron with my 3/10" iron. I actually clip my ends by braiding my hair in individual braids, then clip off the tips every 2 months. Every time I let someone else do anything besides my barber cutting my fro, something disastrous happens to my hair or mainly scalp which is extremely dry and sensitive to tension and heat.

wisediamond830: This is the most magical video I have ever seen....The stylist is supremely talented! That cut is fabulous. What a gifted set of hands!

Iramaia Silva: NÃO ENTENDI NADA DO QUE FOI FALADO,MAS FICOU BONITO,JEITOSO COM CORTE ESTILOSO.AQUI NO BRASIL AS CABELEIREIRAS NÃO TÊM CAPACIDADE DE FAZER ISSO.O MEU CABELO É CRESPO E O MÁXIMO QUE ELAS FAZEM É PASSAR GUANIDINA.VEJO MUITOS VÍDEOS DE CABELEIREIRAS AMERICANAS E VOCÊS TRABALHAM MUITO BEM,ELEVAM A AUTOESTIMA DAS MULHERES NEGRAS.COMO GOSTARIA QUE MEU CABELO FICASSE ASSIM!MAIS UMA VEZ PARABÉNS!!!(22/05/2020). From .

Memi Taylor: I’m not a professional, but I think she did a great job! I hope it didn’t hurt, I’ve seen other stylists use the same kind of heat. It looks like the client loved it

Cherrie Woods: Great job, she looks gorgeous

Anndena Anderson: Her hair is gorgeous! Looks good on her! Beautiful young lady.

Carolyn King-Brown: Beautiful job! You're always thorough and caring.

Sammy: Very pretty cut! Wow! You really transformed her hair. !

Darla Johnson: Crystal you are absolutely the "TRUTH" omg you are the bad of the baddest doing those presses & cutting clients hair so precise! ❤️ I haven't had my hair done in over 17 years because as I've watched you over the years; I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and I definitely know, noone here would be able to do it like you Crystal..... so I'm cool, however, I get alot out of watching you do others! ❤️ I'm 65 years old with natural hair and have never eva, seen any stylist do hair as good as YOU! As always Thanks for sharing your expertise with all of us .... You're a TRUE "GEM" Also you know you got to be good, bc I very rarely ever comment and have went down in myself this time and left not just a comment; but a lengthy one!

clementine hyman: Great tutorial I didn't know what a silk press was exactly some people make it out to be something maybe some secret and it's just simple. Thanks for inspiring me

Quinetteadaobiartsofanapostle: It’s so sleek and elegant. You did a great job

Angela Green: Love It ❤. Stylist Seems Very Knowledgeable, Compassionate and I Love The Fact That She Involves The Client❤ Shows Trust❤ JOB WELL DONE ❤

Zina Lewis: I really have to thank you, I have become much more comfortable cutting hair since watching your videos. You teach very well and I will be ordering some of your products.
