Hey everyone's handling, your friendly neighborhood hair stylist here and today we're doing some quarantine, slash social, distancing, hairstyles. Now? What does that mean? I'M glad you asked. I was thinking that, with this new normal, we have a whole lot of new scenarios. To do. Our hair for like conference calls that we got called into at the last minute, maybe doing your hair when you're bored and want to feel like a princess and FaceTime dates with friends and or real dates on FaceTime with significant others. All those situations can use some hairstyles and me, and my sister Anna Laura, are here to show you how to do it, because I have the short hair and Anna laura has the long hair we're both gon na be showing you how to do it, but Anna Laura is joining us from my parents house, because that is where she has sheltered in place. We'Re gon na call in Anna from our parents office. Now, Anna Anna, can you come in we're having some technical difficulties patching Anna Laura in, but we're gon na get her in as soon as possible and tell them we're gon na go to Mike with traffic. Take it away Mike hello, Kayla Mike here with traffic. There is none, that's my update and back to regularly scheduled programming. Oh I do i evade Hayley's old bedroom, where Kaley Melissa got completely started the other day yep. I think your camera is actually currently right propped up on the thing that I used to hang the green sheet off of yeah yep. It sure we're facetiming right now, it's like know what's going on and we both have an air pot in so that we don't like double the audio of Anna Laura took one of our mics to my parents house and it's not working with the camera. So we're doing our best here, guys we're gon na get it together. We'Ll do it just hang with us, so I'm gon na take over showing the short version of the hairstyle and then I'm gon na give you guys the modifications as Anna does it on herself. The fun part is that I'm basically gon na be trying to get her to create a hairstyle via FaceTime. So not only are we doing a tutorial, it's also a challenge cuz normally, if she does something like, oh no, no, no, no! I can just reach in and do the right thing now we're using my own powers of explanation by training by learning. Everything that has gotten me here will be put to the test led to this moment. Let'S do it and for our first hairstyle, the last minute video conference called this idea brought to you by yesterday. I knew that I had a call. I thought it was a phone call until two minutes before I got a zoom League and I panicked because I was wearing the same shirt that I woke up and there was no makeup on my face. My hair was not done and I had to brush so I threw on a clean nice looking button-down and I did this with my hair. I don't think about this is the end. It ended up just being an audio call and no one knew that, but I did this with my hair alright, so my hair was not clean, so I took it to the back into a low ponytail and then I left it looped on the last rotation. So it was just a little tiny button. Then you very quickly with one little time you have loosen up pieces over. It doesn't really matter so much in the back, but just in the front you want to get some little pieces going so you're, not just a bald head, not that there's anything wrong with bald heads, but if you want a hair style and then last second, I Went and I grabbed some accessories if the rest of y'all picked these up thinking, you're gon na get to wear these in spring and summer. You'Re right, you can wear them now. You clip them in. I do it with the little clip facing the back so that the butt of the clip is not in the front, and you know the thing is with video calls and stuff you're gon na look off to the side or gon na move around, and then people Will see like oh wow, she put accessories in like she put in effort. She really has some style distract from the messy hair, and that is my quick little two-minute. I'Ve got to get on zoom right now, hair style, oh we've all have to do with yours. Yay this is my go-to hairstyle. You got to be on a zoo call in two minutes. Go go, go all right. First, step that you cannot skip is brushing your hair, so we're gon na pretend that our hair is not not. Obviously the texture that it is now do be daily like three four, so I'm gon na pull all my hair up into a high pony trick. Is you still want to be able to see hair from the front? That is the goal. You don't want to really fully embrace that bowling ball, but up to very high pony everybody makes their messy one a different way, but I it that looks like the Emperor's New Groove. When I first do it like the pin it it's a cushy hair scarf all right, so my scarf is actually uh from a robe, because all the scarves I ever wear from Kayle I just I borrow him. I return them, I'm a great sister, and now I look like no hair accessory, so we're gon na go on this all right. Well, my suggestion would be to do a scarf like choose. An actual cute would do clips she's gon na do clips. Ladies and gentlemen, so I'm gon na go upside down from What Katie Did I'm gon na put the bigger end of the clip side down for me? Well, there you go so for the long hair version, if you prefer a a high bun versus a low bun. That'S the route to take, and now I thought it would be fun to do one. That'S just kind of fives like you get to put it in feel, like a princess or a mermaid. Take some pictures I feel like. We all need that after a few days in sweatpants, this one is the most complicated and time-consuming, but we all got some more time on our hands, and this could be a fun little one to learn how to do so that once we get out of this, You have a cool hairstyle, so for my hair Lee trying to decide Anna Laura's gon na be doing about six braids. I don't know that I'm just gon na have enough hair to do that. I figured it out. This is what I want to do for this short hair. It'S a little bit of a modification that way you're not utilizing as much hair, but you still get some visual interest. So I'm taking two larger sections on either side of my crown, bringing them together and securing them with an elastic all righty. And now I'm going to just flip that elastic over you're gon na take the ponytail and flip it up like it's going through basketball basket and then you're gon na loosen up over it to make the hair look all twisty and fluffy. And now we're basically doing a similar thing with some more hair from the front, so you're gon na go from where your last section was forward, make up that hair. As always, you can leave as much hair around your face as you want to if you're gon na be hopping on a call, maybe leave a little bit more. So you know, we've got the hair in your face and then this comes to the back and goes into elastic as well after you've secured those pieces with an elastic you're, going to do the flip and pull apart once again and now. Finally, we're gon na braid the tail of the ponytail if you're anything like me, your ponytail is about this long you're also gon na pick up some more hair to do just a normal three-strand braid secure with an elastic and then fluff apart all righty, and that Is the majority of the hairstyle at this point? You are now going to choose some random places to put just a couple: little bitty, three strand braids, I'm probably gon na - do like two on one side, one on the other, just cuz. I don't want it to be entirely symmetrical, but that's just me do anything, so I'm finishing these off by teasing the hair at the end partially, because I'm not going anywhere with elements that would threaten the integrity of my braids. Also because I like how it looks better when there's not an elastic on it, but if your hair is longer slippery or if you are wearing it outside, whatever you might want to secure with the clear elastic totally up to you, and there is the Shorthair version Of this hairstyle I zebra love it. I kind of like feeling like a warrior, mermaid princess right now, honestly, it's the vibe, it's the energy hi. I need to give you guys a quick little tip, though. If you do this, and then you want to post it on Instagram, hey just try to get somebody. That'S quarantine with you to take the picture for you. However, if there's not anybody, here's how to take it in the mirror. You'Re. My mirror you're gon na face away from the mirror you're gon na, take your phone open it in selfie mode, and then that way you can see what your hairstyle looks like in the camera, and you take the picture from there. You can like even zoom in a little bit. That'S how you get the good back of the headshot on your own, just watch out for the awkward side eye if your eye makes it into the camera line. Also, if you want to know how to see the back of your head and a mirror you face away from the mirror, you take a smaller mirror. You look at it that way again a lot of questions about this ready for the long hair version. Let'S do it so you're gon na start with those same two sections on either side of your crown. Those are gon na come together and you're gon na do that fishtail braid. Also, if you have finer, hair and you're feeling, like you, don't have enough hair for this hairstyle take the first little thing out and just do the pull back braid and then the random little braids and you'll be just fine and you're. Basically gon na. Do that till you reach about the nape of your neck and you can go ahead and secure if you want, you can braid it all the way down. So the next step is to pull it apart. So you're just gon na pull on the outsides of the braids like one little link at a time I mean the bigger you get it the more voluminous your hair looks so just take that information and run with it now you're gon na take those two pieces Of hair, basically in front of the last two pieces, and at least for me, my hair is actually finer up in the front. So I always leave myself quite a large section to take, because I need to fake having more hair there. If you know that your hairline is similarly sparse, then you can do that for you, you're gon na bring it all back and then you're just gon na start your three strand braid and you did the right thing. You picked up another little bit of hair to help supplement everything in the back you're killing it do that three strand braid. If your hair is kind of in that, like middle category, where maybe you're between Anna Laura and my link, you can always add in the elastic and twists and braids if you want, these are kind of two ends of the spectrum, pick what you want so for This three strand, braid, you can go as far as you want, I'm gon na say, leave three to four inches at the end, though, you can go all the way to the end. If you want, I just think, with these kind of more bohemian hairstyles it's fun to leave like some ended out. Let me see, do you feel like that's a little low at all? I tried again there we go yeah. I say: let's just have you clip it this time and then make sure that the braid starts right next to the clip that way, it should fall where it's supposed to then, once your three strand braid is in you're gon na loosen it up. Oh it's perfect! Since you did it, oh my gosh see I told you and now you just put in your random three strand braids wherever you want alright, and that is the long hair version. I think my sister killed it. It'S still just as fun warrior princess II, just utilizing more length of hair than I currently have, and for our final hairstyle I thought it would be fun to do one for FaceTime get-togethers. Whatever you've got going on, you want it to look cute from the front. Maybe you wanted to put a little bit more effort in maybe it's a date. Maybe you and your friends agreed to like dress up and have a wine and paint night virtually whatever it is. I got you so I'm gon na show you in my short hair version, which you could do on long hair, but because we have the Anna Laura's long hair. I'M also going to show you another version for that double the hairstyles in one we love so for the short hair. We'Re gon na. Do a Dutch braid back on each side and it's gon na go back. Add this diagonal like so then it's gon na stop! Just behind the ear, allow me to demonstrate keep in mind if you don't like to have all your hair split straight back, you want to leave out some little pieces around your face, so I feel like the most important thing when we're doing these kind of FaceTime Combos is that you look real cute from the front like picture day cute from the front. If that's your goal, if you want to show up in sweatpants and a messy bun, that is also completely acceptable. It'S exactly what I did when I was facetiming with my friend last night. Different hangouts require different hairstyles, it's like that with or without social distancing, but for this it does help to make sure that you leave little pieces out if you like to have them out. I want to know in the comments down below what is the most interesting thing. You'Ve done as a result of social distancing mine is that all the groomers in the area are closed. So I had to completely give my dog a haircut and I always tip 20 % when I go to the groomer, because I used to work in a salon. I understand how important tips are all the things, but I still don't feel like that's enough now that I've done their job and I didn't even do all the crazy stuff, but you know at least my dog's hair is not overgrown anymore. He looks a little bit more put together, but also not put together. At the same time, I did my best alright, once the braids done you're going to secure it in place with some bobby pins, putting up and into the braids and from here it depends on the vibe. You can't leave it kind of tight braided and I think that's cute like it or you can loosen it up a little bit and you guys know I love a fluffy braid. So that's what I'm gon na do. I'M not gon na go max fluff. Just a little bit uh Anna, Laura yeah. What is your most interesting thing that you've done during social distancing? Okay, so I think there was interesting things that I've been doing since social distancing is doing workouts from home, which, thankfully, like you said, I'm I'm staying at our parents and they have like a pretty nice gym, set I've put some weights and stuff, but my friends And I have been getting together over like zoom and FaceTime and facebook Messenger all cuz. We all figured out, it's not the fact that we can't do home workout. That'S just that, like we don't have the motivation to do it, so we've been getting together and we do a workout every day at 4:30 and it's just solid. It'S like it's so funny because some people's camera setups, like you, could only see like their knees or so I love that cuz yeah. I mean they so knowing all our as friends but they're all super into working out. So it's fun that you guys can all enjoy your favorite hobby together, even though you're all separate, I think it's okay, alright! Well now I'm gon na repeat the exact same thing on this side and with those two braids you're done like it's easy, but it looks so good from the front. It'S really cute, as you like, turn your head or whatever. So if you're trying to be all flirty and on a date and stuff like we're gon na nail every angle, it's good all righty. So for the long hair version, we're actually gon na do just kind of a stepped-up side - braid, okay, so the first thing you're gon na do is kind of start in the back center of your head. You'Re gon na bring a large section of hair together and start doing a Dutch braid and you're gon na braid over the shallow side of your hair. So if you have your hair parted to the side, your braid is going toward the side with the least amount of hair, and the reason we add the little Dutch braid in is so that it grabs all of your little layers, but also, I think, just sets Up the actual side rate to look a lot nicer, because then it's a little bit more tight and perky versus like kind of hanging down when you first get it started. If you just start right here and now, you're gon na pull it apart, both the braid and some little tendrils here and there, you can pull out little tiny pieces from the braid and let them hang down. You can pull out. Maybe Anna Laura some of those little pieces from your shallow side right over the braid could look cute and then yes, I'm suffering the deep side just like make it cute and messy. However, you want so there is the long hair kind of side, braid version. It'S both cozy and cute, and I love it for that and those are our social distancing hairstyles. I am so glad that I got to have Anna Laura here with me. Virtually it was so fun thanks for having me coaching me virtually of course yeah. I feel like I still feel like we're newscasters. Tiffany Rose: you should do hairstyles for people in the medical field!! for when it HAS to be out of your face but u wanna look cute

C B: The craziest thing I have done as a result of social distancing...hmmmm... I did a maternity photoshoot for my sister-in-law and brother from waaaay far away. Does that count? We planned this months ago and this will be their last baby, so I had to make it special! Don’t worry - I work in the healthcare field so not only did I utilize my mask from work, but I also used my super far lens so we stayed at least 20 feet apart. the pics turned out fantastic, too!

ziyou gu: Everyone on zoom calls: look at me imma be pretty and refreshed Me: messed up straw hair with a couple comb teeth stuck inside *I’d rather not open camera*

gi: My friends lowkey roasted me for "putting an effort"by doing my hair, little do they know that those were the braids I slept in

Lisa R: Pro tip: Zoom has a "Touch up my appearance" feature in the video settings for those times when you haven't done (or don't care about doing because--let's be real--it's quarantine) your make-up.

Kristen Tocher Spoon: I burst out laughing at Mike Combover! This was great. BUT what do I do with my terrible looking ends right now if I'm afraid of cutting them off myself?

Chris H: I love, love, love this! This is honestly exactly what I needed right now, thank you for a fun and useful video right now. Hope you’re doing well and taking care of yourself during this difficult time ❤️

Carmen Rebel: I have started hanging out with my landlords and their toddler which I think is interesting because 2-year-olds are hilarious and so much fun to play with. Plus is keeps us all sane.

Maggie Marfilius: Hi Kayley!! I've never commented on your videos before but I just wanted to say thank you for still posting videos!!! Your videos are always a highlight of my week so thank you for posting during this craziness! :)

Sophie Jones: Most interesting thing: cutting up an old t-shirt and attempting to remember all my hand sewing techniques. Nice to meet Anna-Laura! Well done!

Quincy Mason: Ima be so cute in quarantine!!!!! LOVE YOU KAYLEY AND ANNA LAURA!!!

Taylor R.S: My son had his 12th birthday party on Google hangouts. We decorated the house with Avengers stuff and had a trivia contest and watch him blow out his candle ( I swear I bought candles but couldn't find them so he ended up with a Yankee candle tea light wrapped in tinfoil)

Lilly Walling: Shout out to Kayley for teaching me the fluffy braid years ago. I was doing it before it was popular & I’m proud that she’s the one who taught me.

Peggy S: Just sat down to play with my hair. How appropriate ❤️

Rachel Richardson: Most interesting thing quarantine has driven me to: I have given literally everyone in my house a haircut Mom, dad, sister, brother, and self. Fortunately they all turned out well!

Liliana: Most exciting thing... Well I'm gonna dye my hair navy blue today after work! Super excited about that!

Emily J: Such a fun idea ^-^ I have to wear a headset for working at home, and am so tired of just putting my long hair up in a ponytail or a bun on the back of my head in order to get it out of the way of the headset. I also have a circular face and really don't like how i look in video calls w/ my hair up for the headset... So not flattering... A couple weeks ago i was so bored at work i Dutch braided it back into two space buns! ^-^ I also have a mohawk (deathhawk? shaved sides? w/e) and it looked p cute when it was up like that! Would you have any other suggestions for updos that keep my hair out of the way of the headset?

abby yates: I’d love to see you following WikiHow tutorials and giving us your thoughts on them!! They always confuse me lol

Carolyn Yangas: Yes anna laura, introvert battery is overcharged and short circuiting, my mom literally drove 20 min to drop off cookies twice in last 2 weeks to get out of house lol been doing lots of dog walks lol my

Irene Lee: OMW I love this!! So perfect for all my classes. My hair is such a mess and I always feel so wrong when I just push it back. Thank you so much for this!

Sarah Ninksmith: My fiance and I made wax seals for our wedding invites. I also work in bridal and my store is obviously closed but we started doing virtual meetings with our brides to get to know them better so that when we reopen, they feel like they know us. It's been so great for my mental health. Your hairstyles definitely are gonna help me step up my game with my brides!

sucrosey: LOVE your classic tutorial type videos. The most interesting thing I’ve done is have myself a nice trim into a lob, I’ve been self coloring and trimming my bangs forever but this is he first time I’ve done a complete haircut!

TaylorNHeather: Oh the most interesting thing I’ve done so far is I’ve become a teacher now for my son lol oh and I completely dyed my hair pink Friday because quarantine lol ‍♀️‍♀️ and thank ya Anna Laura and Kayley for keeping me entertained ‍♀️

Laura Knaus: I was reading this video's title while re-doing a top knot with my vintage 90s scrunchie. It's not the most interesting, but I've started BWW (braiding while walking) I don't look in the mirror when braiding my hair anyways (it confuses me because I overthink what I'm doing), so I figured I might as well get some exercise, and I get bored.

Autumn: Died laughing at the reference to the green backdrop. That was so long ago Also! I would love to see a video where you two workout together. Anna-Laura is doing Kaylee’s hair thing, so it’d be fun to see Kaylee do Anna-Laura’s workout thing. Y’all could even test workout hairstyles to add content.

BloodyIRose: This is such a good video, I had an online party with my friends and my hair looked like crap so I did a sidebraid ^^ Please do more of these!

Amy Mullen: I have been making "thank you" gifts for all of my friends and family whom have helped me since my back surgery.

Cat Eyes: Thank you so much for continuing to make videos through the lockdown. Your videos make us feel better about ourselves and are so very needed!

The Raven's Nest: I am generally SO happy that I cut my hair short (pretty much the same length as Kayley) last year, but seeing Anna Laura's hair always makes me want to grow it back out. Her hair is so beautiful in any hairstyle!

Sam Blunds: Really like these easier hairstyles! I would love to see tips on how to cut your hair/friends hair at home. Or how to make a hair mask or scrub from pantry ingredients

Kelby Peachey: Loved this video!! I loved how it felt like I was on a zoom video call with the two of you!! My BFF and I are watching Downton Abbey episodes together through video call. It's so much fun. Can you make more videos like this, maybe only focusing on the front and not the back? Also, well done Anna Laura! I think you nailed the instructions.

Elizabeth Rincon: I've had to figure out how to teach 30 5-year-olds over the internet, so that's been really interesting!

Mollie Duval: Loved this video! You guys did an awesome job! I think the craziest thing I've done was wait in line for about 45mins. to get into Joanns. The line after me was probably a 2hrs wait! The funnest was trying making sushi.

Rickie Bee: Whenever I am on camera, it seems that my face gains 10 pounds and my hair looks 10 x thinner and less voluminous. Any tips??

Anna-May Moon: This brought me so much joy today ❤ I've ended up making friends with the postman (packages being too big for letter box VS weird laws = a conversation out the window with postie) he's a lovely chap and overworked and not getting claps out the window (weird UK thing) and low-key pissed off about it Also ended up baking loads and I forgot to halve a recipe yesterday so my upstairs and downstairs neighbours are getting mini Bakewell tarts today!

Jessica Mcguiggan: love this I have been wearing yoga pants and living in pjs till lunch time! also in the process of taking my acrylics off myself! its a struggle let me tell you! but I love this video! its been a minute since I've braided my hair! love you! and your sister!

Jasmin F: I have a buzz cut and still watch all of your videos. You're just two lovely people and your videos are amazing! I've been getting back into drawing during the quarantine and I've gone even more crazy about propagating all of my plants!

SpazyAzy's Art: I love these hairstyles I am going to try them eventually.

Krista Benson: I love it. I work from home and have for 5 years. 0 video calls in that 5 years. All of a sudden all my calls are zoom calls there has been MANY surprise zoom calls. Totally using this.

Ella Prevette: the most interesting quarantine things i've done are paint my room and rebrand my small business !!

Diane Verrochi: Thanks for these. Have you come up with any others, now that it's been a couple more months? I feel like I just keep cycling through the same braids for all my work meetings. Which is true face-to-face, too, but I feel like there are more options when the interest can be all in the back. The most interesting thing I've done has probably been my little nephew's 6th birthday. I found a Thomas the Tank Engine Zoom background, since that's the theme he wanted. My husband and I signed into Zoom on different devices, so the nephew would feel more like there were lots of people there, and we each had a cupcake with a candle. So when he blew out the candles on his cake, we blew out ours with him. He loved it.

Teresa Wise: I’m a 2nd grade teacher hosting my first video conference tonight. All my littles. 50 of them.

dorothy banks: In march I got my hair dyed dark brown with red highlights which I kept for 4 months looking pretty decent. In June when restrictions were lessened, I went from a bob to a pixie cut, it has made the second lock down in Melbourne more bearable.

Barbara Fischer: One exciting thing I've done during all this was release an imperfect, kind of weird harp recording! Thank you for sharing these tutorials, Kayley & Anna!

Raya X: Thank you guys! I needed these tips sooo bad. Love the looks

Cleo Johnson: YAAS! I look disgusting on zoom calls lol! Love you Kayley!

haellexbeauty: The most interesting thing I’ve done in quarantine was last night me and my two brothers and sister went and jumped on our trampoline in our backyard at 8:00 at night and we almost froze because it was like 45° outside. We were just done with being inside.

Shari Magby: Love your videos! I just chopped my own hair at home and I needed this for Easter!

Duda R: Yaaaaay! Thank you soooo much Kayley! I was really hoping this was coming. I'm sure a lot of people requested, but I was one of them, so THANK YOU!

Kalissa: I just love her laugh at the end . Definitely going to try the warrior/mermaid/princess hairstyle ❤️

Sammie Holmes: Yay!! Make me feel human while I only talk to my cats! You go ladies!

ava winters: my guidance councilor has been having zoom calls with her students and i haven’t done it yet because i know i look bad

Sapphira J: I did the mirror trick earlier today and took a photo! I live for this trick! I always take a photo so I can zoom in on certain parts and see them super up close.

TrillionStarGalaxy: Love the face-time braids! I actually do something symaler every day

Joyansorrow: This is perfect video for me I really need these ideas because so far I've looked like a potato or an onion in every conference call

Celestial System: This is so cool for me to watch because I've actually been a fan since Kayley was filming in the room AnnaLaura's in now. It feels so nostalgic!

Toni Grant: I just found your channel about 20 minutes ago and I love it!! I know this is mainly a hair channel but I LOVE your eyeshadow look. Your blue eyes are shining. The craziest thing I have done in quarantine is download TIKTOK like most of the over 40 mamas stuck at home has. My new favorite pastime is sending goofy tiktoks to my oldest daughter that just turned 18. I feel like the app has really let me up my Mom game because I usually annoy her by sending random memes. Videos are MUCH better.

Elly Simpson: Love watching you two! Such a cool video idea. I certainly don't look this cute on my zoom calls

Lori Lane: I've gotta say you both are very fun, interesting and inspire me to try or actually make the hairstyle. I watched before off and on but I'm definitely a fan. Keep up the goodness.

Ex Quisite: We tried to do an online rehearsal with our acapella group (even got a special "live audio" software setup going), but unfortunately it ended up not *quite* working, so we switched to having everyone record their part separately over the next few days (with video!) and then we'll try and stitch it together. I'm excited to see whether that will work...!

Bożena Zaleska: Love the video, very useful and stuff. Could you also give us some ideas about the hairstyles for zoom calls while wearing a headset?

Sadie McC: It's not so much that I've been doing crazy things so much as the normal things seeming crazy--I went in the CAR the other day! My mom was dropping off homemade masks and I tagged along and I didn't set foot out of the vehicle but it was SO COOL!! Also I'm out of clear elastics and all my bobby pins disappeared and it's painful how many good hair days I've been having when nobody's going to see it...

Kate Wilson: Kayley!!! I love your videos! They’re always so cute and have super helped me on a number of occasions. I have a question for you about your doggo. Where did the name Pippin come from? Thanks

Tam N: This setup is giving me major BA back-to-back chef vibes y’all could take that idea and run with it like instructions via just audio call and then video to reveal

hammyschubbycheeks: For a video suggestion, I just got some of those twisty hair tie (the phone cord kind) and a cool video would be a week of buns and ponytails with them.

Meandering Way: I just got on Bumble. I might need these soon. And I actually thinned my own hair with a razor and trimmed my ends...it came out better than expected.

Deb Marrett: I made Tootsie Pop Bunnies with my 8 year old granddaughter that lives with us (with her dad-my son. haha) We took the extras around to my other grands and talked to them over the fence (way over 6' appropriate social distancing). It was sooooo good for her to see her cousins even if they couldn't play together, and we got out of the house (not to mention a fun activity together)

Akasha The Gacha Vampire: I am SHOCKED that you haven't done Viking style braids yet! I just went looking for tutorials on it and I thought I'd go find one from my favorite braidaholic because I know it will be a good one, and there isn't one. Hopefully, at some point you can make a video about it, because I would LOVE to see how you do it from everyday styles to full on costume looks.

Bansharee Parmar: The most interesting thing I did was listen to podcasts! They’re so fun:)

Laura C: I love that you include your sister with her long hair so we can see both options!! Love you both!!!

JudyLovesNaps: Loved this video! Will definitely try these hairstyles!

Mountain Craig: If I ever had a zoom call, I could not do my hair in 5 minutes! Getting my long naturally thick curly hair into a high ponytail along took way longer than 5 minutes!

Genevieve Reed: Thank you for this video it was fun, useful and a pleasant distraction.

Mary Lange: Kayley is so funny, I loved this one

ninegreydaisies: I dressed up as a ninja with my homemade face mask for a team meeting lol. Obviously we're all pretty casual. Got some good laughs.

Madikken Emmalie Zelda Thomsen: The craziest thing I've done during lockdown is breaking in to my garage. Learning how to do it took 10 mins. Actually doing it took 4. Amazed and terrified me, but now I know how to, should the occasion arise...

Abby Carnley: I tried the half up style for the shorter hair for my maternity pictures yesterday and loved it!

Farzana's Law: These tips are unreal and I will remember them all the next time :)

Megan Taylor: I love these hair styles. I want to learn to Dutch braid since I have fine thin hair, it would make my hair look like it has more volume. I also love that shirt!

Neline w: Yaayy ! I need this since I have online classes to follow

Grace Evans: So helpful! Thanks, Kayley!!!

Anushree Ulpe: Cutest video yet of you two! Love the hairstyles And you guys are so fun

Luciana Bombonato: I loved the second hairstyle!!! So cute!! Kisses from Brazil

Julia Finn: I diy-ed a tie dye sweat set so pretty excited about that

Emily Scott: Chances you'll read this? Eh, but were in quarantine so anything can happen! I, and I could imagine many others, are having to move my wedding due to world events. I would love it if you did a video that was an updated easy bridal looks to do on one's self! Im not sure if I will be able to get my hair gal for my new date as many people book her a long time out and I am leaning towards the option of doing it myself (although I suck at hair) so something would be so helpful during this time!

Sena 309: i cut my own bangs... they came out fine its all ok thanks for the hairstyles Kayley!!

penny m.k: Most interesting thing I've done while social distancing is to create a fantasy world and write a story that is set in it

Roos Jonkheer-Vos: Me and my husband had to appear at 2 video streams to make music for church at two separate places within an hour , I guess that is the most interesting thing I’ve done!

Nicole Lung: I gotta try these! Thanks for the video girls! ☺️✨

Tiara O'No: Ive been bellydancing for 7 years, and because of social distancing so many of my dancers I know are offering classes online. Many of them are too far away to dance with normally, so its really exciting for me to learn from them and get my jiggle on!

nop.4297: Love you Kayley!! I love playing with different hairstyles!!!

Rose Tang: I revisited a cross-stitch kit I started working on in high school and forgot bcs 15 y.o me felt it was tedious, put in my hair 2 more colors than the usual dyeing session, and took part in a 'choir from home' video a friend initiated

Celeste Stratton: This is adorable and I love it!!!!!

Elizabeth: could you do a challenging hairstyle video to like do when you have nothing else to and have time to fail again and again

Cait H: This will be fun to try when my pixie cut grows out!

Life With Anna Sofia: Your videos are my fav to binge during quaratine haha

Katie Mahoney: two big questions -- Where did you buy the clips you used for both your hair styles??? I loved them! Also, have you done a tutorial on the curls that Anna Laura had in at the very beginning??

Tiara O'No: I would be really intrested in seeing how you store/organize your hair accessories. right now all of mine are in a large shoe box, and im looking for a better way. Maybe you have a secret you can share???

MEANiiCHiCHi: This is an awesome VIDEO!! Above and beyond as always!!

Sarah W: Yesterday was haircut day for my fiance. I think it turned out alright for having never cut human hair before. The craziest thing was him trusting me to do it knowing that I've only ever shaved my cat and dog before.
