Hi everyone, so today I'm going to do a short little hair tutorial and give some tips on how I style really short hair for those of you even scrap subscribe to my channel for a little while you know that back in January, I had something devastating happen To me, and I basically lost my hair, my hair, you know was - is so damaged by bleaching it platinum several times. I had to basically shave my head, and it was a kind of interesting and stuff to have to live with no hairstyle for a while um. You know my hair is probably defined my style for the past 10 years and not having a hairstyle was actually pretty shocking for me um, but you know I learned to live with it and grow it out and everything. So this is my first real hairstyle that her haircut that I've had in the past three months and I am so happy to be able to style my hair again and yeah. So I thought I would do a little tutorial on yeah my hairstyle or how I style my hair for all you, girls and boys, out there um yeah and then also for the cut it's almost similar to like my old cut, except just more like just a Lot more short, and then I have like these little tiny bangs that were cut here, so the cut is, is kind of longer. On the back, I want to start growing my hair out so um. The back part for me is usually like the worst part. So I I got her to leave this length here and then she cut the sides fairly short, so that I feel like I have a little bit more shape to my hair because before it was getting quite Orbis yeah and then so we kept this part long. She did a lot of texturizing and so that I can make it look a little bit more PC and then yeah. She cut these really short bangs here and kind of like a diagonal direction. So there much longer over here and pretty short right here so yeah. That'S the basic cut I'll, have pictures of my haircut on my blog and then, if you're wondering about this, I look here. This is actually based off of Julie, g7, 13s, dangerous, vixen, look or dangerous vixen tutorial I'll post the link to it below. I just absolutely love that tutorial, so I thought I would wear that look today, um, but yeah anyway, so I hope you guys enjoy this little tutorial. So I started off with my hair is a little bit damp. I take a heat protector and this one's called Sebastian trilliant. Normally, I wouldn't really use a heat protector when my hair is this short, if I'm not planning on growing it out, because this is so short you get it cut off anyway. However, I am going to try to start growing up my hair and I do still have some areas where was bleached, blond or platinum. So I'm going to apply this and just it around, I'm only applying it to the places where I'm going to straighten it and then now I'm going to blow-dry it. So when I dry it, I want this part here, because it's cut fairly short and at an angle and it's supposed to be styled flattened, and so I want to blow-dry this one flat. I have this part flat and then blow-dry this up. So people usually ask me, you know like how do you get your hair to stand up and what I do is I blow-dry it. I blow-dry it against the direction that the hair is falling. So if my hair falls down this way, then I blow dried up that way. My hair naturally parts this way. So if I blow-dry it this way, it'll fall flat. You know so I have to blow-dry upwards this way as well, and so you'll see what I mean. It'Ll make sense, I'm going to curl it with my straightening iron, I'm using one with little mini ones. This one is from Conair, because my hair is so short that my regular straightening iron won't be able to do anything to it. So I'm going to grab it twist it and pull it up, drive it twist. It pull it up. So I just want to curl these parts. My hair is actually naturally, you can see how it has a curl to it loose curl, but my hair is still quite damaged on the top, so it doesn't really it's kind of damaged straight. So I'm going to add a bit of curl and I'm going to curl it going this way. Since my hair is going that way, my hair naturally goes that way, I'm going to curl it the other way you so now, I'm going to try to straighten some of these really short pieces here doesn't always work so well, because so sure, but try doing it Anyway, now I'm going to apply my hair product and the product I'm using is defy d-struct, which is a pliable molting cream. It'S got about a medium hold and I'm going to just take a small amount of it. This stuff smells so good. It smells like pineapple. So I'm going to take about that much and then rub it in my hands and then apply it to my hair and then I'm just going to kind of play with it and mess it to the way. I want it to look, and that is basically how I style my hair. So I hope this helps anybody who has really short, hair and I'll see you guys later.

Way2Spirited: LOVE your hair! I have a similar cut but with longer sideburns and I use a product made for short styles called "Stiff Stuff" that comes in a push-up solid, there's a much older one called "crew comb" that is also in a solid push-up but it's hold is a bit more relaxed. swingkitty007: I have super short hair myself...and I use Bumble and Bumble sumotech. It works really well on my hair and I can make it stand up in a "fauxhawk" without having to heat style it at all. I really recommend the product.

swingkitty007: @sokolum79 It shampoos out super easily. I don't have to use a special shampoo or anything to get it out. It's a combo of wax/cream/paste. My stylist recommended it to me because she used to have short hair. And another cool thing about it is that if you want to change your hairstyle later, you can dampen it and rework the style a bit without adding more product.

I usually use L'Anza Urban Molding Paste, but D:Fi smells SO good I couldn't help picking it up at the beauty supply shop the other day. I just don't like using anything with a lot of wax, it has to shampoo out easily.

Leanna H.: Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I decided to stay brunette (chestnut brown). I just got mine cut really short, again, because of the last time I went blonde wasn't that great either. My hair didn't break off though, thank goodness, but made my ends really bad. So, I'm starting all over again. But now I know to NEVER lighten my hair to blonde ever again. So, brunette & short will be my trademark look for now on.

EnkeliJaPerkele: you almost got me into wantingf short hairs, and I feel naked if theyre not wast lenght :P plus, I feel your pain for bleached hair falling, I keep the front of my hair bleached almost platinum, and they tend to fall off quite often when doing regrowth (to avoid that right now I'm keeping them little bit more golden :P). once I had to get a fringe beacuse of it, and they were 6 inch below my shoulders, seeing them falling off into the towel it was a trauma :(

sokolum79: @maverick6779 That is pretty wild hair for sure!! My hair is so dark naturally that platinum is crazy damaging for it. I used a fantastic protein treatment after every time I bleached it. It made it more shiny and soft, but It was still super delicate and it still broke off.
TwinBerettas: Argh. Your style is exactly what I want (with a few exceptions since mine is currently a bit longer than yours), but it just isn't working for me. :( I have wavy slightly-curled hair as well, but my style ends up being just a mass of curl on top of my head with no definition and fuzzy sides (despite doing what my stylist said to do, serum and drying it flat and all). I'd try the straightener but I'm not sure it'd get hot enough to do pieces that small. :( Yours is beautiful! Love it.

sokolum79: @SiempreMasFuerte I try to grow out the back and sides along with the top and get a lot of texture cut in. If you keep trimming around the ears and and back of the neck you will eventually get a bowl cut. :D
sokolum79: @dylandebbiesteph I know exactly how you feel because that is what happened to me, luckily I had a fashionable beenie. I was also at 1/2". My hair here was at 3 months growth here, but you can probably get this cut at 2 months of you want. To colour it, I used a rinse every week or two to colour my blonde hair (since I didn't want to destroy it any further). You'll probably have to colour it twice the first time since your hair has no pigment anymore.
