Everyone, okay, so this is a tutorial on my hair. I'Ve had a couple questions about how I style my hair and everything how to get this look. I also I'm going to do a fauxhawk tutorial next time. I style my hair and not in that way. So mm yep anyway, so let's get this apart, all right! So I already blow-dried my hair and I applied a heat protector to my hair beforehand and then I blow-dry it so how I blow-dry it is. I go against the grain on some parts so I'll blow dry. It like, let's say right here, instead of blow of drawing it like straight, like this way, I'll just kind of go from the back, and so that it sticks up a little bit along here and then I also did it here too. I blow I made it. So that it sticks up a little bit here and then I blow dried everything this way on top and then for the back. I went up. I'Ve blown it upwards, so it sticks up here, but I load up flat here this at the bottom. They don't want. The bottom to be sticking out too much, so that's how I kind of get the the shape started and then the rest I do with the flat iron okay. So what I'm gon na do now is I'm just going to flyer in the top part, so I'm sectioning it off. Okay! So now that I have that flat ironed, I'm going to start just flat, ironing the pieces that are sticking up and then what I like to do here too, as I like to you, straighten it up this week's just because I kind of like it sticking out A little bit messy on the side, I'll just flat iron, the pieces out and with the flat iron. You can really start shaping your hair into what you want standing up and what you don't I'll, just flatten the sides and then I'll do the back as well. So flat or straightening straighten the bottom flat and then, as I go higher it'll start just spiking up a little bit more now, search it seeing that part sticking out a little bit too much for my liking. So all this just by iron over white bag degrees and it flattens it out a little bit the rest I can do with wax okay, so that's pretty much as much as I straighten it and then now I use this molding case boom by Lanza, and it's Supposed to thicken add volume and definition, but I like it because it's really sticky and everything so I'll just take both that much and now just smear it all over my hair just piece of out. However, you want it all right, yeah, you can fuss all you want and then what I do is I just take a just a hair spray. This one is Sunsilk strong, hold hairspray, but it I'd like it because it has kind of a fine mist and it kind of smells like citrus. So it's nice to then you just take it and spray. I don't expect it to hold like all day, because I'm constantly messing my hair up, so I just use it because it adds a little bit of. I don't know great to my hair. That'S why I like to use this too, because it's really gritty and sticky and everything - and I find that you know if you want to reshape your hair - it's super easy to just reshape it again so yeah anyway, that is the finished product, and so next time I do my hair like another true faux, hawk I'll, also record a tutorial for you guys with short hair or you vowels or short hair. This could also be a guy's hairstyles. You the long pieces on the side here because guys can actually grow real sideburns but yeah so anyways. I hope you enjoyed and I'll seal it

sokolum79: @MethodInMadness321 Yep, it is a faux hawk. Make sure you specify how long you want it, how high you want them to shave the sides, how long you want the sides, how long you want the back to be. I have photos of my cut linked in the information bar below the video. :)

sokolum79: @mandiraebruce I have medium textured hair. Using a blow dryer gives my hair more body and the products I use also give my hair more texture and body too.

sokolum79: @TEARAWAYTiff The panels of colour were done by my hair stylist and I maintained the magenta and she bleached my hair to a light orange colour. :)

sokolum79: @1301JacRen If you use complementary colours (warm purple, pink, red) for green it will highlight the green colour. :)

sokolum79: @elijaharne My earrings are between the eyelets and my lobes. Then I secure them with a rubber earring backing. I prefer not to call them gauges because it's a measurement, I call them stretched lobes. I guess I'm old school :)
MJ MacFadyen: Sweet! I agree about the hair length, I hate those girls who go and get there hair cut and complain to the hair dresser that they want short but not to short. So to them really really short hair is shoulder length or chain, get over it. I've done almost shaved bald. That's short.

sokolum79: @1301JacRen I pretty much had to lift the parts that were coloured pink to a light blond and I use Special Effects hair colour. Also, do not condition your hair before colouring.
