Hi, my name is taiko, I'm a celebrity hair, makeup and fashion stylist today, we're here at visa salon and day spa here in New York City and I'm going to show you how to layer short and curly hair, we're going to start by sectioning the hair holding The hair up at a 90 degree angle and trimming off the ends to create a layered effect, you're going to continue this throughout the hair with short and curly hair. One way to make the curls pop a little bit more is to go in and find random sections just to create more of a pop curly effect, so you'll just find random sections and shatter through a little bit. This will help the curls define a little bit better and add separation. So you'll continue that throughout the year after that, you'll then go into your style, we're going to add a little shine serum and then create the layered hairstyle, I'm just taking smalls purl sections and defining the curl to show off the layers. So after you've done the cutting away and defining the curls you're gon na then go through and do some light finger. Styling, defining the layers a little bit more after you've done that you're gon na finish your layered style with a bit of hairspray, making sure all the curls are nice and defined, showing the layers off nicely, and this is how you layer short and curly hair
