Hey chickies, so today I'm doing a video that has been requested so much ever since I chopped my hair short, you guys have been requesting a how I style my short hair video. So today I am here and I'm doing that for you all. So since I chopped my hair, there's only really two ways that I style it, so you guys are gon na see those two ways today. One of the ways is my bouncy curly wavy hair, which is what I have right now and the other way is just a sleek straight. Look, you know just straight hair, so don't you both of the looks I'm gon na be showing you today. All you're going to need is a straightener just a straightener, so funny story. If you guys follow me on Twitter, then you know that about a week ago. I was getting ready to go out and I was straining my hair with my Flatiron and then it died on me as I was straightening my hair. I was pretty devastated, but I had a backup flat iron toes like are. Let me use that one. So I grabbed that one out and I started using that one and then that one died on me too. So I had no flat iron and I had frizzy hair and honestly. I wasn't so worried about my hair because I was going bowling. So I was like you know what my hair is: probably gon na get messed up anyways. My main concern was filming this video, because I've been wanting to do this video for awhile, and I was like how am I going to film a how I style my hair video, if I don't even have a flatiron that works, but luckily this hair company luma Bella is sent to me in this flat iron and guys this iron puts all other irons to shame. So you guys are wondering this. Is the luma Bella keratin a dual touch styler, so the reason this flat iron is so cool is because I had these little plates on the inside of you guys could kind of see. If I turn it like that, you guys see that strip right there. That'S actually heat sensor strip and what that does. Is it detects the humidity of your hair once that little strip detects the humidity in your hair? The iron will actually lower its temperature and the reason it does, that is, to prevent excess heat damage and breaking in your hair. So that is pretty awesome. The features automatically turned on when you plug it into so you don't need to worry about like turning it. On or anything also, the plates of this thing are infused with keratin micro conditioners. Basically, that's just a fancy word for healthy hair stuff and what those conditioners do is it gives your hair a healthy oil-free shine having the dual action of the keratin conditioners, and the heat sensor in this is actually going to make your hair two times stronger and Your hair is also gon na, have fifty percent less splitting and fifty percent less breakage and damage compared to using other flat irons. So, let's get into the styling alright guys, so we are going to start with the classic Beauty chicky. You know bouncy wavy, curly, hair type of look right now. My hair is just back in this clip, but actually before this video, I took a shower and I just blew dry, my hair or blow-dried, my hair. I just I can't do grammar okay, but anyways. I blew out my hair there. We go just because when I blow out my hair, I feel like it's a lot easier, just style, because I have like a nice like clean slate to work with, because my natural hair is like a kinky curly and it's just like really difficult to work with. So, whenever I get out of shower, I always make sure that I blow-dry it so here's my hair so to get started. I'M just going to turn it this on by holding down the power button once it lights up, I'm gon na put it to the temperature that I want, which I usually put it at 450, which I know is extremely high, but, like my hair, will not hold A curl: it's not a high temperature, okay, I'm just gon na let that heat up and in the meantime, while it's heating up, I'm just going to prepare my hair. So I'm just brushing my hair back and I'm going to section. So I usually take right above my ears like this, and this is the amount of hair that I am going to section away. So I'm just going to brush it. It just stays altogether nice and sleek, and that was not together. Did you guys just see that anyways, I'm just twisting my hair and I'm going to pin it up with a hair clip right here? I use a big butterfly clip. It works wonderful, so I just have my hair underneath and if you guys see me looking right here like not looking directly in the camera, it's because my mirror is right here and of course I need a mirror to style, my hair so like I was saying No, I'm just brushing the hair making sure there's no knots in it before I make it curls now that I've sectioned away my hair, I'm going to start with this little section right under here, I'm just going to take that flatter and I'm going to put it On the hair - and I'm going to just twist my iron around like so, and would you look at that? What comes out is this cute little curl in the back super cute? I know so I'm just going to do that for this section here you want to make sure that when you're curling each piece just give it a brush through with your comb beforehand, just to make sure that there's like no knots or anything, it looks like all. Like messy and like crazy right now, but I promise it's gon na look fantastic at the end, so I'm just going to go and do this side of my hair and then we'll move on to the rest of my hair in a bit alright guys. Now my hair is these crazy curls back here, I'm just gon na take a little bit of hairspray and just spray it on there just so they stay. Now we are moving on to the next section of our hair. I usually section my hair into like three or four, so this is going to be the second section which I usually grab at like my temple, and we are going to do the exact same thing that we did to the pieces. Love just taking a small section in the back and I'm just going to curl backwards, just like that, this nice little girl, also, if you guys notice, I'm taking my finger and I'm just like reconstructing the curls so like afterwards, I just like to you know wrap My finger around and kind of just like keep the car like that. That way it just like stays. You know. Alright, we finished that section once again, a little bit of hairspray never hurt anybody. I'M so focused that I'm just staying like silent. So I apologize about that. Alright last section guys the top of my head this little bun I had going on so we're just going to part it right down the middle. I don't actually part my hair in the middle, but I part it in the middle to curl it so yeah. Alright little bit hairspray a little bit more hairspray. You guys, like my Cabbage Patch Kid hairs, just sticking up right here. Yeah me too anyways. Now I'm gon na do is take my handy-dandy of fingers, I'm just going to brush through my hair with them. Just looking at my mirror here so don't mind me, I'm just brushing through I'm also sweating, my booty off because of the heat down in this studio. Basement thing that I'm filming in so there we go. I just messed up my hair, and now we have these nice little waves. Now. What I like to do is just take a little more hairspray and just spray that in my hair, and then I like to kind of just you know like mess with it and kind of reshape some of the curls that might have fell out. You know kind of just like mess with it, give it a little more of like a beachy texture, and that is it for my wavy hair. This is how I get my wavy beachy bouncy curly, whatever you want to call it hair, it's really fun. I, like it a lot. This is the hairstyle that I wear the most out of all my hairstyles, if you guys see all my social medias or any of my videos. This is like my go-to, because it's just like it's fun and it's good for super hair. So yeah hope you guys liked this hair style, but we're gon na move on to hairstyle number two now and hairstyle number two is just my sleek slicked hair. You know just the flatiron just nice and straight so yeah, alright guys. So, as I said, the second way I style, my hair is just sleek and straight so, let's start off, I'm just going it to brush through my curls and just get any knots out once I brush through everything, I'm going to section my hair, like I normally Would I'm sorry my hair, basically the exact same way that I sectioned it for the curls I'm just going to take my comb and just brush through make sure there's no knots, I'm just going to take the flat iron and I'm going to just start straightening. My hair, going from the root all the way down. I don't typically straighten my hair over already curled hair, but of course, for the purposes of this video. That is what we're doing alright. Now that I got the bottom part of my hair nice and straight I'm going to let down another section of my hair, I'm just going to go through the rest of the sections of my hair and do the exact same thing that I normally was like. I don't really have any like secret to straightening my hair. I just kind of do it. Air play some music in the meantime because, like I don't want to straighten my hair in the east island, so we're gon na play. Let'S play some Jaden Smith, alright guys so now that my hair is straight, I'm going to part it over to the side. So usually, when I do a split clean look, I like a slick part, so I'm taking my comb, I'm just brushing all the way back and then parting, my hair down. Of course, I'm gon na have to do some adjustments, so I just take the top of my comb. I'M just you know, fixing that part, I'm also taking some of this hairspray, I'm just spraying it on my part and I'm gon na. Take the fine toothed end of this comb and I'm going to try to slicked down my baby hairs as much as can and there we have it. This is just my sleek straight hair look.
