Braided Ponytail | Tutorial | On Short Hair

So, what's up guys and welcome back to my channel, as you can see, i have my hair out um, because i am about to do a braided ponytail and my hair looks like it's long enough to grip to do a low one or do a high one. If i wanted to yeah, i just got right into this video y'all cuz, it's late. It'S probably like it's like nine something right now, so i'm about to get her done. So i think this is good enough good enough lent to go low at the bottom or just to be right here right here. So i'm going to part gel my hair down and um. Let me show you the products that i'm going to be using. I'M going to use this uh kinkawa cake along kanekalon, 100 60 jumbo braid in the color one. I like my hair to be black okay and then i'm going to be using um this um. I guess gel that i've seen at um the beauty supply store is new and i didn't want to use eco style. So i just went ahead and used this. It'S arrogant oil uh, a gel. I can see that yeah um just to try something new. I'Ve never used this before it smells pretty good, so i hope it works well on my hair and yes, i'm going to use gel instead of like gorilla, gorilla, snot. I think it's called girl. It'S not. I forgot. I haven't used it so long because remember my hair was cut off like i wasn't using any gel. No, no like rubber bands, nothing in my hair so like i just noticed that i forgot to get hair pants, so i'm kind of like oh my gosh. I forgot to get hairpins, but the hairpin was just to hold when i do the wrap around the braid, so i guess i'm gon na have to figure something out until tomorrow i go get some hairpins and then i'll do that. But those are, these are the products that i'm going to be using in my hair um. Hopefully my hair gets a little wavy, because my hair is natural, as you can see, look at them roots, looking crazy, but um. Yes, so about to get right into this, and oh, let's do it okay, so i wasn't going to show you guys like how i'm drilling down and everything but might as well, because this is a hair tutorial. So, first i'm going to start with my sides because yeah i have not done like this kind of like style in like forever like this brush is really sharp like it's brand new. It is again limited, okay, yeah, so first i'm gon na pat it down. Oh my gosh. I definitely forgot to leave out my edges, so let me do that now, so i can catch up and i'm hoping this style works out for me because if it doesn't, then i'm going to figure something out, because once you apply just natural hair, i pray that This staff works out for me. I normally don't use this much. I haven't used gel y'all in so long. This is crazy, anyways enough of the talking i'm about to lay these bad boys down and come back to y'all, okay, y'all, i'm not even know why. I'M still somewhat applying and retouching up my signs and stuff like that, the gel applying israel, my i don't know, don't believe the height where it says firm, hole, firm hole, my behind all right so i'll, be back y'all all right guys. So i'm back, i'm so tired, y'all, and i think it's good enough now for me to get the hair i should have been. Instead of playing on my phone, i should have been um doing that with the hair, so this is the best i can get laying it down. Let me see the back. It'S laid down, i'm good enough. Okay, because you know i'm gon na, tie it again at night so and i decided to leave my little sideburns out. I think i'm gon na, like probably lay them down, but this is just for right now, so we're going to grab the hair. I kind of like that. It'S already like it's already um it's hard right here. So i'm thinking i'm gon na just use this and just wrap it around my hair. I should have got expressions, or at least another pack with it, but i'm kind of gon na like brush it a little. So i can get the ends to not be so. Blunt so do i hope this hairstyle come out popping i've been trying to wear my hair down. Let'S see, i might have to start this thing: okay, oh my god, tomorrow. Okay, so i think what my problem is: i'm not putting it, i'm not putting it in tight enough, so what i think i'm gon na do i'm going to. Instead of keep this on there, i'm probably going to go ahead and put my hand over there. So i can't grip, it purchase your tracks today, all right, so i'm coming on the camera really quick, because it's about to die but um, but this is how it turned out. So i have a rubber band right here and then i have one right here. So i'm gon na dip this and make it become like wavy and then cut off the loose ends so um. That'S why i have two rubber bands right there. So so it's gon na be curly and i'll. Show some pictures - and you know, show you how that turned out. So what i'm gon na do now is because my back is really short, so i'm still having trouble with my back but um. What i did was. I took a tail comb and i kind of just hold it down. I kept brushing it up with the gel on there and then i think i should be good, but my camera's dying and thank you for watching. I hope y'all like my little ponytail, because i like so this - is it so okay guys, so i'm back to show y'all the final resorts um of my hair. I mean it's not too much. Y'All can see it's kind of like bend back, like probably touching, like the top of my butt. I just let me show you because i got ta keep this on or else my hair is gon na get frizzy. Okay, it's sticking, but i had a hard time with my back like it's like, because it's so short it wasn't stained. So this is it it's the final look of my ponytail and what i did. What i did was i kind of dipped it in the water, because i didn't like how stiff it was so i gave it so it could give a little flowiness to it um. What i'm going to do is spray this on there give it some shine. Give my hair some shine yeah, so that should just give my hair some shine just to top it off and i'm using the arrogant oil from um morocco. I hope i'm saying that right, um, it's the cream of nature brand, the um! This is supposed to. Actually, this is a heat protector. This is not what i let me see if i got my gloss shine, because this oh wait, this is it so this is it right here, let's add some shine to your hair, so this is it and then kinda? I just wet, like the sides of my hair, and i kind of just let it curled up right here. Um, i, like, i think, i'm gon na lay them down flat, not sure or just straighten them and just curl them um, i'm probably not going to leave them like this. You know so yeah.
