Short Hair Double Braided Updo | Pretty Hair Is Fun

Hey, it's the Terra, hey it's shaunell and I think until I've recently cut my hair and today we have an awesome hairstyle, that's perfect for shorter lengths of hair yep, we're calling it the double braided updo for short hair. So we hope you love it and, let's get started, sweet. Okay, to begin this cute little hairstyle, you can see she's just got a side part and it's not real precise. So what I'm going to do is I'm just gon na pick up hair on this side and I'm just going to do a Dutch braid. So simple, it's just gon na wrap around her head. So I'm going to take hair from both sides as I do this, and I want to make this big and wide as I do it, and this is going to be a loose look, but are messy. So I was like. Oh I'm just gon na pull this out. We were some hair hair. My friend just pulled out once I get to the middle a little bit more, I'm just going to finish this braid off and I'm just finding a clear elastic and just tie off the end of her braid and I'm going to flip the end under because we Are going to be pinning these up, so it packs it in a little bit more and I'm going to have her turn to this side, and I'm just going to do the same thing. So just finish off the braid, like you did on the other side and just pull it out wide as much as you can just put in a clear elastic flip, the end just like we did it before now. I'M gon na pick up this top braid or the bigger braid. I'M gon na bring it up here and you just kind of need to place it or fold it where it looks good. If you've got a longer braid you're gon na be able to do more. Then just take a bobby pin, you see I've just kind of got this tucked under so I'm just gon na take a bobby pin, I'm just gon na grab that and the hair on the head and just pin it in place and then I'm gon na take My bottom braid and I'm just gon na, come up here and you just want to kind of fill in wherever it looks good, so whether that means coming on top or under so I'm actually just going to come up and just tuck it through her braid up Here, take another bobby, pin, see that - and this is our devil, braided updo for short hair.
