What'S good guys is your girl, Keesha Arielle and welcome back to my channel in today's video I will be giving you an update in regards to the braid locks installation I did on my son's 3-inch TWA, so, let's get into it. So recently I received a comment requesting an update regarding my son's Greylock journey, which I shared a few months ago, and with that I am very sad to say that his luck journey ended a week after installation like many people starting their long journey. He found that his scalp had become quite itchy and he wanted to take them out immediately so that he could wash his hair. However, if you had stayed the course with his start locks, then this would have been his second block journey. Now, when I first started his long journey back in 2004, I used the two strand twist method and he was about four years old then, and I don't recall him fussing or complaining about his scalp being itchy now I know it's kind of difficult for a child. A very young child to express that, but he didn't give off any indication that he was uncomfortable with with his hair and after about five years. He wanted to cut his luck to try something different now, I'm not sure why his scalp felt itchy this time around. What I'm thinking this could possibly be due to the method that I used. As with the first luck journey, I had started that using the two strand twist method and not the braid lock method - I don't know, maybe braiding the hair causes more attention at the root which then make the scalp feel itchy, as opposed to the two strand twist, Which is a bit looser at the roots, allowing the scalp to breathe a little bit more, I'm not sure, but that is what I am guessing, but go ahead and leave a comment below and let me know what you guys think about that. This is also another reason why it is important to research with different methods. You think would be best for yourself and also to be sure whether you want to commit to your long journey, because, despite the method you choose to go with, you may still experience itchy scalp. Now, if you choose to continue your long journey after you know experiencing very itchy scalp, then the best suggestion I could give in regards to easing and itchy scalp is to moisturize and massage yourself regularly. In the event the itching is unbearable. I would suggest trying another method go ahead and check the cards above for a list of other methods and tips to consider before starting your luck journey and for those who are interested in knowing how long his hair has grown since installed in his braid locks. His hair has grown one inch and currently he's not quite sure what style he wants, but he is mainly interested in growing out his hair at this point. So with that, there is not much to update you on regarding his luck journey, but I decided to do this. Video in case others were curious to learn more about how his hair was progressing, so that's it for today. I hope you guys enjoyed today's video and found it very helpful, and if you did then please be sure to like comment share and subscribe if you are not already subscribed so until next week, Sunday at 5 p.m. we will be right back here with another video

Esha D.: Yes, I completely agree about the tension part, with the braidlocs. I had braidlocs to start my journey, and my scalp itched for about the first five months, and it still does every now and then, but I use coconut oil and eucalyptus, and cedarwood oil. I still suffer from keeping the moisture in, once I've added all the oils.

Puckerup Buttercup Computer: Thanks for the update!

Trevor Kamau: Is retwisting box braids different to retwisting comb coils or 2 strand twists or is it done the same way?

Baby810: For me I have the braid locs method. I have coconut oil, Vitamin E oil, in a spray bottle mixed with water and I don’t each or flake. I just spray it daily

Miguel Flores: I been using lemon juice on my braids for the past 2 weeks when I got them, is it necessary to spray lemon juice on single braids to help them loc faster?

xkcash _23: Ok so I’ve had these box braids in for abt 3 months now. I just retwisted the new growth and then two strand twisted them right after. Should I have retwisted the new growth and if so what happens when I retwist it and how long do I have to leave the two strand twists in for?

Jessie Snow: I just started my locs with the braid method. Do you believe that it's a good choice to start this way?? The lady doing my locs believe it will be best since my hair was already kinda long and i wouldn't have to go through a terrible ugly phase lol.

ICEBUCKET ROY: Yo I fw the locs bro I started my journey too you should check mine I got tips on how to loc your hair faster too.

VictoryEra: How are you ? I had a question! When n where does the locing start on the hair with braid locs?

Radiant Yeve: Hi Keisha I tried that method u used on ur son nd my hair keep coiling up and unraveling. I have 5 inch hair and my hair still unravels. How do i make my hair lay flat and not ravel?

Follygangtay: Two strait twists didn’t work for me it would come out at root when I wash my hair so I comb it out and got braids basically it takes lots of maintenance just wash his scalp

Tia Reynolds: Can I freeform from braidlocs?

ISREALisBLACK: Yah bless you

floridab0y: If he kept them in his hair would have locked by now it would of been a year

uwu i see you uwu: he could have washed his hair with the braids in it wouldnt have unraveled
