Oh point: seven five inches at the top and then at the very tip or the bottom of the barrel. It'S one point. Two five inches welcome back my lovelies to another video, I'm so excited you could join me today. Today'S video is all about hair hairstyles for the upcoming holiday season. You will look beautiful, you will look elegant. You will just be radiating at these events. You'Re welcome and thank you to t3 for partnering with us on this video, I'm so appreciative and I'm so excited because I have been using their stuff for such a long time and I'm such a big fan of their convertible collection, which I will be using today. They do have seven different barrels that are interchangeable with this convertible base and they came out with two new barrels: I'm using today, they're cascading waves barrel, and then they came out with the voluminous curls, which is their 1.5 clip barrel and just in time for the Holidays, we are hosting a giveaway with t31 of you'll win the entire convertible collection with the seven barrels. How exciting is that all of the information will be in this video so stay tuned and keep watching. Let'S start with the hairstyles, the first hairstyle, I want to show you guys and demonstrate how I get those beautiful waves with their cascading barrel. It is their reversed tapered barrel, so it's point, seven five inches at the top and then at the very tip or at the bottom of the barrel. It'S 1.25 inches, so you're gon na get those beautiful, tight curls at the top and then going towards the bottom. They'Re gon na be more loose. It gives me those beautiful effortless waves. Did I get with a flatiron, and this way it's much easier. It is not as damaging for my hair just because I'm not tugging as I am with a flatiron. Let'S begin for my preferred heat setting, I have it set at the second one, which is roughly 300 Fahrenheit or 149 Celsius, I'll just be taking sections and then take the barrel with the opposite hand, I'm gon na place it downwards. I'M gon na start wrapping the hair around. I leave at least half finish to one inch, not wrapped around the barrel. The very bottom portion, I'm just gon na, continue doing these all the way around my hair in the same direction for the slowest section of hair. It'S done and I do notice that my curls last a really long time. I don't have to recall my hair in between washes so tomorrow, they're gon na be curly the next day, they're gon na be curly they're gon na be a wavy, not curly. So I really do appreciate that it has some kind of single past technology in these barrels, which is awesome. So this is where I'm gon na start alternating the curls. So the first hairs that are closest to my face I'll take them away from my face and then the next curls I like to take them to my face like torrents and then away towards away towards and just kind of give it the alternative. Curl love that I'm gon na do the same thing with the top section I'll trade, the curls, I'm gon na apply a little bit of dry shampoo to my hair. I'M not doing this because my hair is oily. I like to add a little dry shampoo to give a little bit of texture and grit to my waves and give it that really tousled. Look. Obviously you can add dry, texture, spray or hair spray to your hair or just go without anything, I'm using the chlorin. A dry shampoo with oat milk and I'm only spraying into the middle to the ends of my hair. I'M gon na quickly brush up my hair with this paddle brush and there we have it. I love these waves they're, so effortless. I love that the curl are a little tighter on the top and then they come out very loose and very edgy and modern towards the bottom. Just like my Flatiron waves, I love the style very easy to accomplish and the curls last a very long time. I love this one if you have short hair like I do even longer: hair you're, gon na love this wand, and I'm just so excited for this giveaway next hairstyle is going to be gorgeous braided updo. Obviously I had to include some kind of braids, I'm gon na split my hair into two sections. The lower section is going to be for my bun and then the top section is going to be for my two braids for the lowest section. I'M gon na create a ponytail and then make a bun with the help of this beautiful mini donut. Before I start braiding, I'm gon na divide my hair into two sections and I'm gon na take a section in the front where my bangs or my fringes and I'm gon na leave that out of the braid. I think this looks really pretty. It looks romantic and I think it looks very elegant and then I'm gon na start braiding behind the fringe or the banks I'm gon na. Do, though, Dutch braid version, which is the outer sections, go under the middle section and I'm gon na braid them all the way around to the top of the bun and just kind of finish off the braid without adding in more hair? And then do the exact same thing on the other side and now comes the fun part. Let'S pull apart these braids once the braids are pulled apart, I'm going to crisscross the braids right on top and over the bun and secure them with bobby pins and voila. I am so obsessed with this hairstyle. I think it's so gorgeous it's so romantic and elegant and just perfect for any event, and you will feel like a princess or a queen, whatever you feel like literally it looks like you have a crown. I love it. It'S just so stunning, let's talk giveaway, so one winner will receive the one converting base and seven different interchangeable barrels. That is awesome. I'M so excited for you guys. That'S fairly simple, I'm going to be creating twists with bobby pins to secure everything. Let'S begin, I always get questions regarding. Why do I curl or wave my hair before I do any type of updo and it's honestly just my own personal preference. I think it looks better on me with short hair, even long hair, I've always loved curling, my hair before anything. The reason why is because it is very forgiving a it gives you volume it gives you texture. It gives you a lot more dimension rather than just having straight hair and putting up and up I'm just saying it's not possible, it is possible, but I don't think it looks as pretty in my opinion, so I'm going to first create a pompadour. It'S basically a little volume bump in the front and I'm going to secure them with two bobby pins and I'm going to create a quick Topsy tail with the hair that we created from the pompadour just because it is so short. So I'm just gon na grab a little section, tie it off and just flip it over and create a Topsy tail now. This is where the fun part comes in, I'm gon na start creating rope, twists, they're, so easy they're. Basically, two sections where you just twist around each other, I'm gon na, take them apart and I'm gon na connect to all of them towards the back in the middle of my head. It'S gon na be stunning. This is why you need bobby pins and what I'm gon na do. I'M just gon na bring it horizontally to the other side and just secure it with a bobby pin and I'm gon na do the same thing on the opposite side, create the rope twist, pull it apart, a little bit and secure it to the opposite side. On the back of my head with a bobby pin so now I just continue doing exactly the same as the previous to take a section, create a rope twist. Take it apart just a little bit and then secure it underneath the section before it you're, basically going to get that cascading stacking effect with the rope twists. So now that all the sections are done, I'm gon na take all the sections apart, just a little bit more to give a lot more volume, texture - and I mentioned to the entire look and if you want a slightly different look and just take the pompadour out. Just remove the bobby pins and it's gon na be slightly different, and that completes the look. I think this hairstyle is so gorgeous. I love the up. I love the texture and dimension and just the simplicity of this hairstyle. I think it's great for any party and any holiday, and there we have it three beautiful holiday hairstyles that are just stunning for any occasion. I hope you guys like them.
