Trying Short Hairstyles...And Failing Of Course

What'S up everyone, it's audrey and welcome back to odd vlogs. I am so excited and dreading. Today'S video, i'm actually like really pumped for today's video, but we already know it's gon na, be a fail like i'm. I have no expectations, but if you are new here um you should know some things about me. First of all, i chopped my hair recently i used to have hair that went down to here and then new years i was like new year new me chop. It off so now it's gone and i haven't had hair this short since i was probably like five years old to some people. This may not be short hair, but to me this is like really short hair because i've never had hair this short before. So this is short hair to me, um and then another. Maybe you know good facts know about me is uh i suck at doing hair. I'M really bad at doing hair, and actually you guys get a one in a billion chance today that my hair is actually styled. So i don't know how well you can see my hair right now, because i feel like brown hair just hides everything like. Can you tell that it's waved, i'm not sure but um? I don't know how to do hair. I can flat iron, my hair. Maybe i can curl my hair, but if i'm curling it's all going to be the same direction and then how about these waves is? I just put like curlers in my hair like waivers um and let them dry like while my hair, dried and stuff, so it actually has some texture for today's video, which is gon na be kind of fun, um and yeah. I can do basic braids, but that is it. I'Ve never tried to style anything with my short hair. It'S been about a month and i haven't done anything with this lovely i've. Even i haven't curled it by myself. Yet, like i think the only time i had curled short hair was because my sister curled it so without further ado. Today we are going to be trying some short hairstyles or hairdos for short hair, that i looked up online um and i'm just prepared for this to be an expectation versus reality moment. So here we go right off the bat number one. Is this picture right here? Yeah, so we're gon na be trying the one on the left or the right, the one with the green hair and the flowers. Are you serious? Oh my gosh. I can't like i have to look at this. How is this possible? Let'S begin, we have the basic necessities, we have a mirror because i have to be able to see what i'm doing. Obviously we have some bobby pins. We'Ve got. You know ouchless hair ties which are freaking false advertising, never ouchless, they always hurt, and then we also have some like baby hair ties which i'll probably have to use. So it looks like in order to get this flower. You have to braid your hair. First, i'm not sure what kind of braid she did, but i'm going to assume it's the normal basic braid and i'm gon na assume. It'S like the very front piece watch. How fast i can braid my hair ready set. Go boom done. I got the first braid. Can we get a close-up action? Can you guys even see whoa? I feel like. We need a different angle time to switch things up a little bit here. Wow. This is not interesting. I can't show you. Okay, maybe i'll, show you i'll expose myself um. So part of the bathroom is a laundromat, because i hang all my clothes up in here after it's washed, because i hate putting my clothes in the dryer because they shrink, like literally everything, shrinks. So anything i'm scared about shrinking. I hang up so we get this lovely backdrop. You know what, since i've already exposed my myself, i don't care, we need a new angle and i feel like this is kind of better lighting. Maybe i don't know boom done with both sides. Okay, so this is what the braid looks like so far, and obviously this is not gon na make a voluptuous flower. This is not gon na be doesn't be a tiny baby flower. So now what we have to do, i'm assuming i i'm acting like. I know what to do, but i'm assuming we're gon na have to like fluff out the braid. So what i'm doing is i'm just like taking the ends. This is like the one hairstyle tip that i do know that my mom, like that. I learned from my mom, and that is you just like - take the little corner pieces of the each individual braid and they just pull it apart like that, and it feels like you're messing it up, but it looks so much better. I don't know why. It just looks like you have a lot of hair and that's a very good uh hack life hack for thin hair. Ladies out there, like i got you, this is like pretending to have lots of hair. When you don't, should we just try it on one side before we even attempt the other like uh, whatever will flock both sides? Oh my gosh, i just came up with the best hack. You know what i should do. I should just take these things. Spray paint them brown and just like plop them on there. Now, i'm thinking big brain now, i'm assuming we're just gon na, have to have a lot of bobby pins. I hate bobby pins with a burning passion they hurt my head. Can you even tell what this is? I think what i'm trying to do is a space bun like have you guys seen those like something similar to that like this is not as like impressive as that other photo. Okay, i don't know what this looks like, but you know you guys can struggle with me. Oh my gosh, it looks so bad that looks so so bad. You can see the bobby pins. Oh my gosh, this looks so bad. Oh my gosh well and my hair is so frizzy. Why is my hair so frizzy? Look, you can see the frizz help me, okay, ready before or expectation versus reality. I'M gon na call this one a thumbs down a for effort, though. So, let's move on to the next one, all right, everyone hairstyle number two! We are gon na. Try this one right here. So i think i can do this. I think, but it also seems a little sus, let's just say, because it looks too good to be true. So it looks like from this picture. She just took like two twisties from each side of her head and then secured him with only two bobby pins. No hair ties just bobby pins and i personally do not have that much trust and faith in bobby pins. Okay, i don't know what i'm doing guys. Okay, we're just gon na like twist it that's what it looks like she did. She just twists, twisty twisting. I also don't have a lot of faith and twists because they just unravel they just come undone also. How am i supposed to hold this andrew, the next one? This is so awkward. Oh, my gosh, like i seriously need a buddy on here to help me. Do hair should i have a guest star like let me know in the comments if i should bring someone else onto these. Hairstyles like this is a whole saga. Now this is a whole series. We'Ve been through so much together. We'Ve learned how to like curl our hair with a flat iron, i think, even without a flat iron, we've tried normal hairstyles. We tried you guys favorite hairstyles and we've just been through a lot. So, okay, we got two twisties now she like put him in the back. Can you even see what i'm doing she put him in the back? She took one of these besties and just how did it work? Did it work guys? Does that look good? Don'T lie to me: don't lie it's like half falling out. It'S like pretty much falling out. Oh well, we'll just keep going. You know, winners, never quit, and even if i'm not a winner, at least i'm not a quitter did i do it all right. You guys get the first peek did i do it. It just feels very loose, like i feel like if i shake my head at all everything's, just gon na fall out like oh, that does not look good. What just happened literally, what happened it's falling out? Let'S see if he'll fall off my hair, if i like predict what i was gon na do like this, is me going to school just stay in, oh yeah. We'Ve got a flapper right here, little floppy boys. Does it look better, though oh it does not. It is falling out. I am done with this one next one that is such a fail. I thought that one was gon na be easy, see guys. This is what i'm saying. I think it's gon na be fine. Like i literally picked the easiest ones, you can do the easiest ones, nothing extravagant. Maybe the flower one was a little over the top, but, like the rest of these, you see still can't do it all right this next one we're gon na do. Is this one? It literally gives me a step-by-step plan, full proof right like i should not fail this it. It draws that out for me so um be prepared to watch me figure out how to fail it first off number one. We start off with hair. She looks like she has about the same hair length as me, which is perfect. Then we have to separate it into three sections wait, but then it jumps what i think we're just braiding our hair and it's not a french braid which thank you. Thank you. So much and then it looks like she just like flipped this and then like tie it like that, oh gosh, oh gosh, it does not feel right. Oh this does not look good. Oh my gosh. I am so done with these hairstyles next one all right guys. I have faith in myself, but i probably should not the last one we're gon na be doing. Is this one right here? It also gives us a step-by-step plan and it looks like like the same person kind of made it um. This one involves sectioning your hair into three different sections: fishtailing, the hair, i think or not, or did they just flip it they fished out? No, they just flipped it. I think, and then they combined them all together and then it was like beautiful and i needed a clip. So let's see what we have, i have a whole drawer by the way i never use this. So, let's see if we can find like a cutie clip for us to use, so this drawer right here contains all of my girly hair ties. So we've got a bunch of scrunchies. We got this really like fabulicious one we've got some scarves um a headband. I literally never wear these but they're so cute. Okay, here we go. This is what we need. I think this kind of looks like what she had, but like less cute. Oh my gosh. We got this big gargantuan. Look at this all right guys. Do you think i can do it? Do you think i can do it? My faith depends on you, okay, so we got one elastic done next, one next section of hair, i'm just gon na like take it from the side right here. I don't know. If that's what she did, but okay, okay guys, this does not feel right, but this is what i have so far: yeah. Okay, that's what we have now step. Two looks like she didn't fishtail. It looks like what she did. She took one of the braids and then or one of the ponies, and then she just like flipped it inside out, so it looks like she just like. Did this? Oh? Does that look good guys? I can't i literally can't see um no, that doesn't, but whatever i should make this a live stream comment down below. Should i do a live stream of trying to do my hair? That would be interesting. I think i did it guys. I think i did it. I think i did it. Does this look good, uh, nervous laughter. I have like a weird bump it going on right here, but as long as it goes in the back as long as it look as long as it looks good in the back. That'S all that matters. Okay, i'm gon na look in the mirror. Oh, what even you, oh my gosh. What even is going on here. Oh that looks so bad. Nothing will hide. Look how horrendous this looks. This looks so bad. This looks so bad. This clip is not gon na help us i am done yeah, that's all the hairstyles that i prepared for today, because um this looks horrible. What hairstyle like what hairdos can you do with short hair? I'M genuinely asking this like.
