Not all short haircuts, but not all short haircuts are cairns guys caring is a mood, is not a cut all right, so this guest of mine is um actually going through cancer um. She had breast cancer about 10 years ago, had chemo and her hair really thinned out, and now it has come back and she is doing radiation and her hair is super fine and super thin. She knows that getting a textured cut going a little shorter is going to give her so much more body and she's. So happy, i'm! You know what honestly like. I wasn't going to say this, but anybody that's going through cancer and needs a fresh cut. I'M going to do it at no charge, i'm

PatchNoir: that lady has the sweetest non-karen face. hope she’s doing well and i wish her the best!

Croissant._.: Me: *a 15 year old girl with really short hair* "Not all short haircut's are karens" Me: "well I sure hope not.. "

Elena 💙: people only think short hairstyles are karens because older women can’t take care of it as much anymore. now that is not every case! thinning, not being able to take care of it, etc! karen IS a personality.

Sarah Mitchem: You’re amazing for that! My mom went through soooo much with her cancer, and unfortunately eventually succumbed a couple of years ago, but she was so funny about her hair! She kept hearing that the chemo would make her hair grow back completely different and she was so sad when it didn’t, ha ha. She also just went ahead and shaved it instead of waiting on it to fall out! My mother was literally the bravest and strongest woman I ever knew and that is why it means a LOT to me that you would do something so generous and kind! Keep up the amazing work!

Shreya: Thank you for saying this. I'm so self conscious of my haircut after people started saying the term "Karen hairstyle"

Katie Tucker: I was 20 when I cut my hair short but then about two years later “Karen” became slang and my hairstyle was associated with it. I haven’t changed my hair since then, because I think it suits me otherwise. But I do feel service workers like tense up when I go up to the register and I really wanna tell them “I’m not a Karen I work in customer service too I’m gonna be polite to you!”

The NoClue Gardener: When my hair started coming out in chunks during chemo, the short cut saved my sanity. It wasn’t all gone, but it was so thin and sad. Rock the bald, rock the short! Do your thing girl! Good luck to your client! She’s got this

•mochiikoi•: i remember getting my very first short haircut so i could look more gender affirming, and my best friend rly looked at me and said “you look like a karen”. but i am so proud of that woman and i hope she finds immense happiness in life <3

LilyBug 233: THANK YOU ❤ As a member of the short hair club, I have been called Karen on so many different occasions and it's frustrating. I don't even have a "Karen cut", just shorter hair. It's not funny, and honestly just annoying. I'm in highschool, and the amount of times I get called a Karen by moronic teenagers is astronomical

CherryBombRose: Short cuts aren’t Karen cuts, the og haircut is the asymmetrical long in the front and short layers in the back and highly feathered

Liz Mosby: Looks amazing and prayers she gets through this and never has to do it again, living a long happy healthy life

Krista: Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this!! As a professional stylist nothing makes me crazier than hearing a haircut is a "Karen". You did a beautiful job, and your client looks amazing!! Keep rocking your shears sister!❤️

redit stories: I remember getting a really short for my hair one day and the moment i walk through the door with pride my little brother said i looked like a karen and at the time i was super duper insecure so it really hurt me so yeah i agree with you and i hope she is doing well and amazing shes such a beautiful woman

Lady Butters: “Karen is a MOOD.. it is NOT a cut!” I love that! I might have to snag that quote, turn it into vinyl, and turn it into a sign to hang up at the salon!!

Chrissi Grigsby: Keep strong sis !!! You've been through this--you'll come out even stronger Love the cut on you It's amazing how something as simple as a cute or new haircut, big earrings, a cute outfit or a long car ride/escaping makes such a difference when we don't feel like ourselves I went through this couple years ago--sometimes I'm trying to figure out who this new me is

MarA P: finally someone stated this, I had to shave off half my hair which was already short, some of my hair began to fall off that is why I shaved half, then people in my classes called me a Karen for it and it's really sad people make fun of hair like this

Zore: that cut looks amazing on her. my mom has a "karen" hair style, and everyone is pretty cautious around her, but once you get to know how, she's super sweet. not everyone acts a specific way just because they look a specific way.

Crystal Karen: This is so sweet! I wish her the best. The fact that she survived cancer shows how strong she really is. I bet she’s been through so much, but that will never stop her from moving forward. ❤️

Darchelle Skipwith: That is an adorable hair style, perfect for her face shape.

DevilishErikita: I had this same thought process as well when it came to the "Karen haircut" I'm 29 & was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer...during chemo & radiation my hair started to fall & thin out. For any person, this is painful to see....but I kept pushing back cutting my long hair until I couldn't anymore. I now have a pixie/ Karen haircut, but I felt soooo much better cutting it. My hair is still falling out after treatments & I still feel that loss but she's right! Haircuts don't define a person, they shouldn't! It's the person that defines who they are! I hope this lady beats cancer a 2nd time. It's a tough battle!

Moe Curls: She looked gorgeous, I love that red color on her too. I wish her nothing but the best in her battle with cancer ☀️

Jenny: I’m going for the chop because I stopped dying my hair and I’ve grown the undyed portion out to the bottom of my ears so far. I’ve got maybe another 2 or 3 months until it will be a length that isn’t at the berries and cream length. I have had early greying since I was 20. I am salt and pepper now. My younger sister is also salt and pepper and she started greying at 18. We have both stopped touching up. I am 36 and she is 33. We look young in the face like others our age but our hair is at that stage where we need to touch up like crazy if we continue to dye it and it’s just a hassle going in once a month. We are both coming to terms we will have hair like George Clooney and the early greying club and that’s alright. This is such a cute cut, I hope mine is just as cute.

ItzCyfi: I cut my hair recently to help with my self confidence as a non-binary person. It helped me see myself in a new light and gave me the hope I needed to get through that time.

Cooooo ooop: I think you did my hair about 18 years ago in Raleigh Nc near down town you were so kind to me and you helped me with some faith related questions I had . You did the most amazing style color and cut to this day ! You shared a few celebrities you had done . I have since gained 40 pounds but I know it was you ! I’ve dreamt about feeling that good about myself again ! You are amazing !!!!!

Darkstar Plays: We all wish her well, and yes Karen is a mood (CSA work has taught me that)

ThickBiscuit: As someone who just doesn't look good with longer hair... THANK YOU. Been so nervous about accidentally getting anything that looks "Karen" -y

Rhonda Silver: I hope she makes a speedy recovery. The haircut looks great on her! Matches her lovely smile. ❤️

Pragya Singh: Also thank you so much for offering to do haircuts for cancer survivors for free! That’s one of the most kind things I’ve ever heard I would love to hear more stories of courage

Bx 🤍: Beautiful cut, love the layers! I had a double mastectomy just before covid hit, and I always had long blonde hair. My hair thinned out so much it just looked terrible, so I went and got it all chopped off to just above my shoulders, with lots of layers and texture, and oh my gosh it made sooooo much difference! You've made this lovely ladies hair look gorgeous, but I'm sure you've made her FEEL beautiful, and given her so much more confidence. At that is priceless

bella pipes [b.p]: FOR. REAL!! Short haircuts are NOT Karen!! Thank you for clearing that up. Stereotyping short cuts are “Karen” makes people feel like they can’t get a style they want.

Myrthe L: With having hair that never grew fully to my shoulders all my life, I'm always really nervous going to the hairdresser. When I was twelve the hairdresser did give me what looked a whole lot like a Karen haircut. Fortunately, since then, I've had my hair done by really great people who really listen to what I want.

Pink&Purple: This made me well up. I am going through cancer right now and am going for my first haircut in 2 weeks! I finally have some hair back. Wishing that lady all the best!

Jocelyne cupcake: Aaaw! SPREAD THE WORD! my mother died of cancer and her hair went really thin, but she refused to wear extensions. She was the exact opposite of a "karen", in fact she was a hero. Without her I wouldn't be alive rn

Anupama: When I went for my first haircut after my growing my hair back from the chemo and everything, I had fine hair all over the nape of my neck and the lady who cut my hair went n fetched a razor and all these guys came in to see who needed this. It was so humiliating for me. You are so kind to her.

Holly Pierce: That's such a sweet offer for anyone going through such a rough time in their life. For you to give them a fresh cut and maybe uplift their day/week/whatever, is such a selfless thing to do!! I love the kindness! I'll be sharing this video!

Makenzie -: My mom is going through radiation right now, she finished kemo, but her hair really thinned. She cut it in a pixi style and I think she looks awesome! The fact that you are doing this for people who have gone through cancer makes me super happy ❤

AnimeFan: I feel for that woman. My father going through cancer. She's a lovely woman and the haircut you gave her look wonderful on her. My thought and prayers goes with her and anyone else going through cancer.

INK: "Karen is a mood not a haircut" that counts for alot of things, love it

Saskia: It was a lovely cut for her! Hope she’s on a positive journey with her help

Sherry Harris: Great technique!! For some reason this brought back memories of being in state board testing doing my haircut and the instructor came up to me and said; put down your sheers and do the haircut with your razor. My mothers eyes got as big as half dollars. She had never seen nor even heard me talk about razor cuts. Her haircut looked so much better being cut with the razor. She had short hair like your clients hair. Did you ever have to shave a balloon with your straight razor? I remember doing this. I remember my instructor said if the ballon pops you just cut your clients head. That taught me how to properly use my razor and not be scared of it.

Pupcake Surfer: The way you struggled to say the reason why she wanted to cut her hair defines you as a caring and sensitive person. When you said you would give haircuts for free if people needed it for that reason melted my heart. Keep doing what your doing, and I love your work. We need more people like you in the world.

🩸Toga Himiko🩸: I ended chemo four years ago, you're doing something great and I applaud you :)

ElfinShell: You’re an angel. Both my parents have had/do have cancer at the moment. It really can be the small things that make you feel so much better. Thank you for brightening this lady’s day, and I wish her the best of health.

Catherine Batchelor: Im so happy for her and you are amazing for doing free cuts for anyone who's gone thru this the rewards you will get are worth more then money ..god bless you girl x

Bennie: I got a new haircut about a year ago and when I got home, my hubby said it looked like a Karen cut. So I googled what Karen haircuts stereotypically look like now (I know the original look, but I know things have evolved), and I was basically seeing any style of hair a woman could possibly have like now we can't even get haircuts without being called a Karen. Jokes on him because I'm also going through cancer treatment and have lost it all.

Howl: Awwww!!! She’s such a cutie! Great haircut and the color looks so lovely too! Best of luck to her with the cancer ❤️❤️❤️

Myrakine: I remember I had longer hair until a few months after I turned 16. I wanted to get a haircut like the one in this video but a little shorter, and a friend of mine told me that I would look like a karen. I ended up getting a different cut that showed off my curly hair more. That friend has since been cut out of my life, he was very toxic and I felt lighter in the days that followed blocking him.

Auroraxxfacekilla: Yes thank you for saying this! I love short textured haircuts. She looks beautiful and sending my best wishes of a fast recovery to her

Z: Love that Karen is a mood not a person god bless her

Rachel Harris: I went rough stage 4 cancer and losing my hair was hard, but finding someone that could help me learn to work with a completely new texture with the regrowth was very hard. I've had 2 cuts since it grew back and both have been disastrous. I'm on disability now so I can't afford a decent salon.

Dona Bear: I had the “Karen cut” when I was in elementary school and was bullied, loved my hair cut before that, and lost every ounce of being myself after.

Z: I had cancer when I was 8 so I can completely understand this. Had to leave school due to the amount of bullying I was going through for how I looked. And the radiation messed my hair up on my left side, my eye brow is white blonde and so are my lashes. My right side is dark brown and my hair turned copper. ‍♀️

Liz Woodward: I just happen to come across this video today… my mom has gone through life having breast cancer three times, and this time she has about another month left in her life. Thank you for the shoutout to the people affected by cancer, esp our wonderful women who battle breast cancer

LauraBidingCitizen: Most certainly not in the same league as this beautiful woman, but I have 2 chronic genetic disabilities that are degenerative. They’ve worsened considerably over the past 18mths, I lost my beautiful mum very suddenly 14wks ago, on top of that I’m dealing with an excruciatingly painful frozen shoulder. My hair is down to my shoulder blades & I can no longer deal with it So I’m having the ‘big cut’ tomorrow, into an elongated choppy Bob as I find shorter hair easier to manage & style. Makes me a bit sad that all short hair has been categorised online by a certain mood. You done an amazing job. I do hope this sweet soul is doing well x

ghostii: whenever i see a “karen haircut” i see it as more… the haircut suits the personality they fit. so there are PLENTY of wonderful beautiful women (such as this lovely lady!) who have the “karen” cut, but it isn’t because the hair suits that person for the right reasons, instead of it being a trait that suits the toxicity of a “karen”

369 247: As a cancer survivor I thank you for what you do. Most people have no idea what doing something as simple as a haircut can do for someone fighting the battle of cancer. You truly are a fallen angel, brought me to tears.

Squidballs: Exactly, my grandma has the 'Karen cut' but she's literally the sweetest lady I know. Nothing close to a Karen.

Amarilis: I hope this young woman overcomes that battle!!! You can do it ❤️

* Starlight *: She looks so amazing. I wouldn't even say her hair looks thin, but hair or no hair she looks great. I wish her the absolute best

BunniboO: I had a bob that was asymmetrical on one side and shorter and tucked behind one ear on the other side, i got called a karen once and it made ne quieter as i was told that having my hair that way and having my own opinion made me a karen

Breanna Huguet: She looks amazing especially after what she went through. She also looks very happy. I wish the best for her!!

Yoeli Valdez: Watching this video makes me very emotional as a person that’s been fighting cancer for 18 years and every other month I’m losing my hair, like I hate how my hair looks like I really do but I don’t wanna shave my hair and just seeing how happy and good she looks it’s amazing I wish I can have that confidence

Jacquelyn Rivera: Sending her love and best wishes for a long and happy life Her hair looks gorgeous and she looks beautiful ❤️

Moira Andrews: Not everyone with that haircut is a Karen, but every Karen has that cut <3

recyclopes: If you think someone is a Karen solely based on their hairstyle, YOU'RE A KAREN

Mary Duff: It’s beyond difficult to find someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to using a razor. Well done what a great cut and style ❤️❤️❤️

MoonJr. 78: My mother’s name is Karen And she is the *sweetest* person I have ever met

Boborque: I work at a hair salon, I sell product at the front of the store. We ask for their name/phone number to search up their file and the amount of women named Karen I’ve met has been insane. NONE of the Karens I’ve met have ever been rude to me. The stereotype has been hurtful to some people, even if it seems insignificant

Ella Davis: Lol back when the whole Karen thing started my Grandma showed me and my sister a picture of a Karen cut and said that she wants that, not knowing what it was/meant. Me and my sister immediately screamed and said absolutely not. She then ended up changing her mind last minute and getting something else!

Lisa 💖: I'll be praying for her so hard . I lost my mom to cancer 3 years ago and passed away so your making her day . Well done for your kind work ❤️

Angela Smith: She’s gorgeous and amazing and sending loving, healing energy for her to get through this round with cancer ✊

Magna Carta: I had a couple come in once, both getting haircuts, the wife was going through chemo and she was getting a fade, modified. At the counter they were both so positive while explaining, I assumed at first the prognosis must have been pretty good. When I took the husband back and we started talking he started crying almost immediately, he didn't want her to see, he wanted to be strong for her. The prognosis was not good. We got through it, both of us cleaning up our faces and such so it didn't look like we had just been sobbing like we were. He goes out to go into the nearby grocery store, I pull the wife back, and very quickly she broke down as well. She didn't want him to see, she was trying to be strong for him. I had to go home afterwards, I was destroyed. It wasn't my first or last haircut that had to be done because of some catastrophic health complication, but it was a particularly hard one.

Kim Thomason: That was sooo sweet of you to do this for her. Ive not been able to get my hair done for a year and before that itd been years. I have very bad back problems so im not working so i cannot afford it but giving her a free haircut im sure made her feel so good. I know it helps my self esteem tremendously. So ty for for doing this for her. She is in my prayers.

Cayla Cummings: Girl, you offering haircuts to chemo patients free of charge? You’re an angel. Thank you

FluffyPerson: I feel this. My dad has cancer and things have been hard. I really appreciate this:)

Bethany Wilhelm: Wow!! She looks amazing!! This haircut ‍♀️ made her look in her 20’s again!! Just incredible!!

Jen57: Thank you so much for saying that, Karen is definitely a state of mind and attitude. And thanks for helping these ladies that are going through a rough time. The customer in the video looks like a sweetheart.

Happy Smith: Such a beautiful cut for a beautiful lady. I hope she’s doing well. Bless you for your genuine desire to help someone going through something hard feel better about herself.

𝕥𝟘𝕘𝟜_𝕒𝕟𝟙𝕞𝟛: Thank you for this I’ve been called a Karen so many times which got me real insecure about my hair

Michelle Claire: Thank you! Karen's totally ruined the 90s undercuts and bobs. Yes, I'm still stuck in the 90s, yes, I'd still have one every now and again if not for the Karen revolution. Lol

maggPi Prime: What a sweet, soft cut! Suits her so perfectly!

Cherry D: We need more nice Karens in the world- concerned, righteous, and actively helping the community ♥️

Nosebleed de Groselha: I remember someone commenting on a drawing someone made, saying the character looked like a Karen. It was a punk girl with a green pixie haircut. People just don’t know what they’re talking about, they just want excuses to be mad at random stuff. If everything is Karen, then it’s ok to hate everything.

Katie Perrault 💙💚: My grandpa is going through lung cancer, he had surgery and they actually fully took out his left lung so he only has one lung, he had radiation and chemo which was really scary for me cause I’ve always been extremely close with him but even though he didn’t need his hair cut or anything, it just warms my heart that you are supporting your client

Ashlee Rae: Thank you for sharing this, sending so much love her way!

Abby Perez: "Karen is a mood, not a cut" Well said

Brittany R: Thank you for making this! I have long hair right now, but my hair is very thin and fine and looks way better short

Emily-Kate Fowler: Big facts and I’ve seen plenty of “Karen’s” with long hair too this literally started out as an instagram meme of some lady that happened to have short blonde hair

Asp3n-0: My nan went through cancer (survived) and now has this haircut! It really suits her and she looks super pretty with it

Blueberryy: Exactly! My mum started chemo in February last year and she cut her hair very short, shorter than this it was a style that is typically masculine but it looked really good on her and it didn’t look Karen style at all.

SB: This is actually one of my favorite hair cuts. You can rock it it looks amazing

Ashley Ostrout: You are truly an amazing beautiful woman! As a cancer widow this made me cry. I hope she is still fighting !

Olive_ Tree: I was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (cancer) last year, and im 14 now, and super insecure about my hair. Id never had it cut or trimmed before it fell out, so it was super long and the process was really emotional. Nobody, EVER, deserves this. Not even murderers. I'm being genuine.

Ten Ways To Wear It: The cut looks amazing. May she be blessed and cancer-free for the rest of her life. Bless her now Lord. Heal her now. ♥️!

mariah R: “Karens” is all about the way a person acts. It’s not literal. My moms named Karen and she uses the term karen. And she is the OPPOSITE of everything that defines “karens”. My mom smokes weed, is a hippie and loves everyone

Bsel: What you are doing is awesome! I am losing all my hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes postpartum and post covid, and feel horrible. I take a shower and it comes out in give clumps. My hairline on the bottom and behind the ears has receded at least an inch. I have no clue what to do with it I wish I knew someone with your talent that could make me feel like I didn't look like a peeled onion! Keep doing great things!

Ella Davis: Lol back when the whole Karen thing started my Grandma showed me and my sister a picture of a Karen cut and said that she wants that. Me and my sister immediately screamed and said absolutely not. She then ended up changing her mind last minute and getting something else!

Mary Poppins: To even witness a human who’s body is STILL fighting this hard to just be here, is a privilege. May you find nothing but beautiful health, healing, peace , and happiness hun❤️

KARMAZYNA: Wow what an amazing look! She's rocking that hairstyle! Absolutely love it. ❤️

M P: Some of us have medical issues which really affect our hair, and short layered cuts are perfect. To call every short layered haircut karen really pisses me off, even if it's not offensive it's just NOT THE SAME HAIRCUT
