Favorite Short Hairstyles *Updated*

Hey everybody: it's leila, hey everybody! It'S leilani and welcome back to another video on my channel. Hi guys, as you can see from the title today, is going to be a hairstyle video. I asked you guys on my instagram if you'd want to see a curly, hairstyle, video or a just straight short hairstyle video, and it was pretty even um. I thought, since i have my hair straight right now. I should just do this one first, so i'm going to show y'all my favorite short hairstyles. Here'S my hair length, i'm sure, can go for like long or short hair, but i got short as you can see so we're gon na start with that. I'M gon na um start with this hairstyle since i already have it on my head and a lot of you guys liked it, and everyone asked how i do it. Trust me, i'm no braider, but this one's pretty easy to do so. All you're gon na need is um, some cones to separate your hair or if you don't want to do that, then you don't have to a brush like this there's hair coming out of it everywhere. Don'T worry and a couple um clear, hair ties so hair tie brush. That'S all you need all right. Let'S get started, i'm going to take this one out first and just show you on one side of my hair, because i don't think you guys need to be shown on both. I start off by brushing the hair out that i'm going to use and you can either section it off with a comb or i just kind of grab like the front like about an inch section in the front. Next thing i do is i stick two fingers in so that it is separated into three parts like this, so i'm just grabbing that front section putting my fingers in so it's like this and do like you're doing a braid, but stop before you do the full Braid, you know what i mean, so it looks like that you're gon na grab this section and just scoop up another piece and connect that so that it looks like this grab it and then just continue to braid but grab a piece every time. So if you don't know how to braid, then you probably want to watch a tutorial on how to braid. First, you just like grab a piece. Braid grab a piece grab, a piece braid, so basically you're just braiding while grabbing a piece every single time and then once you kind of get to where you have like three solid, like braid plaits, then you're going to stop grabbing and you're just going to braid. All the way down, you feel me guys, you feel me, it's really super easy. It only took me like i mean once you, if you do it for the first time it's going to take a couple, tries for it to get attached and stuff like that, but once you got it you'll, never forget how and then you just grab one of Your clear or whatever hair ties you have and i like to leave a lot of hair sticking out the ends like this much like a whole like two inches sticking out the ends, because i feel like i don't know it just looks better like that, and then It'S gon na be stiff at first like stuck in the air, as you can see this one like kind of dropped. Already this one's stiff, you just like - have to move it around like pull it apart a little bit and then soon it should just fall and be yes. That is what i do for, like the french pigtail kind of thing, french ponytails, i don't know i'm going to start inserting pictures of what the next hairstyle is going to look like before. I actually do it, so you guys can see if you even want to watch it or not, but it should there should be a picture somewhere here. Um. The first thing i do for this one is: i get my wide tooth comb and then i do like a probably two inch section and bring it straight back and just that wasn't the cleanest one i could have done, but two cutters all right. So i kind of just section this off and then i'll put the rest of my hair in a ponytail so that it is away for the rest of the time and then i just brush it out. So it's easy to work with all right for this one. You'Re going to need a lot of little bands, not a lot but yeah okay. So the first thing we're going to do is section probably like a half this inch piece, i'm going to tie a hair tie in it, like i'm tying, a mini ponytail. Basically, if that makes sense, now you're going to get another section right behind it, and you're gon na combine them and secure them both like this, so that it looks like this like they're connected and then i only like to do three. But if your hair is like longer or whatever you like, you can do more and i drop the hair tie good thing. I have more and then you're just gon na combine the last little chunk and do the same exact thing combine that together then what i like to do is pull the sections in between up so that they kind of like pop out of your head, like that, You know what i mean and then that's pretty much it you do that to both sides of your hood i'll be back when i do the other side here is the hairstyle done. It is super simple and it's not like too noticeable. It'S just like out of your face type feel you know yeah this one is like a butt. You gon na stick to take out. Okay, wait! Maybe you know it's coming out really easy: okay, okay, it's the end! That gets you where all your hair is just balled up at the end, and yep here comes here comes the ripping out of the hairs. You see these they're about to go bye-bye, sorry that i keep changing the angle, but the lighting is just not hitting right. Now, but okay for this next, one you're gon na need two hair ties. Here we go like two actual. Why are these connected? What the heck two actual hair ties and then a whole bunch of little clear ones again that has a hair on it. Probably like six of them um, this one is inspired by hand. Sorry hannah. I stole this right straight from your tick. Tock. I'Ve seen it on your head and i was like that's a cute hairstyle, so i'm just doing it creds to hannah okay. So for this one same thing: you're gon na section it just like this and then you're gon na put your you're gon na secure the ponytail um. I like to do it kind of high like a high ponytail um. So i'm gon na wrap this around a good 20 times. Okay, so like this, then it's basically, you already saw the hairstyle. I already put it on the screen, but it's like a bubble bubble hair. I think no, i just made that up. Okay, so you're just going to want to like take probably one and a half inch sections, i'm just going to put wrap it around twice and just do it just like that. I don't know how to explain this i suck at explaining, but i think this one's simple enough to just understand by just watching it be done. Oh guys also, that was disgusting. Why did i just slurp it up like that? But this tea is sugar. Free shouts out to reid's little sister ava, it was hidden sugar-free tea if y'all want to see like a whole bunch of healthier options that i eat and drink throughout the day. You need about eight hair ties to make this happen unless it depends on the length of your hair, and then i just pull it apart like this to make them kind of bigger and there the hairstyle is super cute super cute super cute, i'm gon na come Back when they're both done, can we talk about this? Why did i do something wrong? Um anyways, so why is it bulging out of my head, like that? Let me just give it a good. It'S still stiff she's, not giving up. Okay, wait! Oh! This is why there is a hair stuck in it. Okay, maybe that wasn't why? Okay, let me just bend it up all right. I think i got it um. This is probably one of sis still doesn't want to just sit still um. This is probably one of my fav hairstyles thanks hannah thanks had to steal sorry girl, at least i credited you okay, but i'm about to go, make some tick tocks with this hairstyle, because i actually really like it and then i'll be back for the next day Style love you guys brb for the next one um all you're really gon na need is a two hair ties again and a comb for separating since i'm just using it. I'M using this hairstyle to show you guys, i'm not going to make sure my part. Is that good, but you just part your hair down the middle. It'S going to be two french braids um. I think they're, french braids yeah right. I'M going to show you guys! The way i do it because every video that i watch i'm like what is she doing now? I don't understand okay, so this is what i do starting off. Like the same way, we started the other braid. I do the same thing and then pretend you're doing a braid okay, so one braid, but only do like half of it. You know what i mean so it looks like this then you're going to take a big chunk, starting from get your thumb and just run on the side of your ear and kind of scoop up and combine that and then cross it over. Do the same thing grab a piece of hair at the top braid do the same thing, sweep your ear. Braid grab a little chunk from the top braid swoop by your ear, brace grab a chunk braid. I like to leave a little piece of hair out right by my ear, so it's like more cuter and more like a lazy type of braid. Look. This isn't like supposed to be like a clean one. It'S just like a you threw your hair back in a braid. I guess, and then you just keep doing that until all of your hair is gone guys. This takes a couple like tries to practice, but once you got it you'll never forget it like literally so easy, and then i just spray it as far as i can to secure the bag. If you have like shorter hair, it's going to be kind of hard to um like shorter than mine. It'S probably going to be hard to braid it down, but that's where i got mine too, and i love it. It'S like so cute cute little braids. This is like the easier side to do for me and this one's kind of harder, because it's not my dominant side. I guess instead of like doing the two fingers on this side. I don't do that since, like i don't know how that would work since i'm right handed. I just put my finger in here, put my finger in here and then i start: grab switch, grab, switch okay, that's both of the braids done and i think they could look kind of. Even the hard part is getting them like the perfect, like you know like one will be down here and one will be up there. That'S like the tricky part, but i love it super cute. I like it like with short, hair short hair with this hairstyle. I feel like there's something about it, immaculate about it. No now for this next one um, i believe i did this in a different video. Like an older video, i think i did like a short hairstyle, video or uh. I don't know, but it was something like this um i'm gon na keep the french braids in you're gon na need two hair, two more hair ties or just two hair ties for this one, and i'm going to just secure it as close to my head. As i can, with the rest of the braid still on my head, just loosening the lower part of the braid that's hanging off, and i literally this is like one of my favorite hairstyles. I just do this or you can tie it before you. Take the hair tie out like this and then just pull it apart and there you go another cute hairstyle that you can use with the braids still on your head. I love this and another one. I'M not going to do this in separate, but you can literally put a little hair tie at the bottom, make a bun out of the ponytail. If you can, i don't know if my hair is too short, it may be too short, but you get what i'm saying like okay. What is that honestly? What is this? Okay, something like that yeah just like that. So if you wanted to do a different hairstyle, you can do the ponytails, but bun form just kind of open it and spread it out. It'Ll, look like this. I might like this one more than the ponytail one. I really like this, it's so cute and it's like it feels like nothing is in the way like it's cool, you know when your hair is all out, it's like hot and musty. This is perfect.
