Hey guys Jessica here of my style Veda and today I'm going to be sharing with you, how I do my new beachy waves with a flat iron. I have been doing beachy waves with a curling iron with the wand for years now. But ever since I cut my hair, I've been finding it a little difficult to get that effortlessly. Beachy messy imperfect, look with the curling iron or the wand, and so I, finally, with the help of my beautician, she has shown me how to finally get beach waves and I've seen a lot of people do Flatiron waves that looks really time-consuming and, like a total Pain in the ass, but with this tip that my beautician Nicole gave me it's super fast. I now do my hair in no time at all, and it's great so first you're going to want to start out with blown out hair. That'S pretty straight! You don't want the bottoms to be flipping out or in to too much, although you will be able to have some control when you get to the end of the method, I'm going to show you and that's literally the method. So it's all in the wrist, but basically my hair has been dried. I used a flat flat brush flat head brush. What are those called paddle brush? Thank you very much. I used a paddle brush to make it nice and straight - and I did just do a few of my pieces underneath here, because they do tend to get a little wonky, especially right now, since I'm due for a haircut soon. So I like to section off my hair right above my ears and by the way I'm using these Christian s, hair clips for someone with as much hair as I have. It is kind of amazing how good they hold, because my hair is so short. I actually don't recommend doing any of this stuff down here. It'S really not necessary if you're super picky go ahead and do it, but it's not worth it. It'S not even 2 inches of hair just leave it. Today, I'm going to be using my FHI straightener and I've got it set to around 400 ish degrees, depending on your hair type. You may not need as much heat I always recommend starting lower when it comes to temperature. Instead of going straight for the 450, your hair may not eat it and that extra heat is just damaging. So basically, this is all in the rest and you're just going to go like this down your hair. So I'm going to start with a section and you're going to start up and then down and you're going to pull the hair you're going to really pull. I know it seems a little weird to be pulling your hair so hard, but just up down and then always make sure you leave the ends pretty straight so up down and now moving on to this side and there you have it. That is section one. You can run your fingers through it break it up a bit. It'S that easy. It goes all right now that I've got all of my pieces waived. If you will, as you can see, you don't need to do the bottom, it's totally useless unless you're gon na be putting your hair and like a half pony, you may need to do something, but I don't think it's necessary and it saves you so much more Time so I always like to go in afterwards with the Kristin s, working texture, spray and also I really love the beach wave spray. I feel like this really helps to create some definition in the wave, so they are pretty subtle. You can obviously make it a little more. You know exaggerated if you like, but for this I want to shake it real good and when you're using the Kristin s working texture spray, you want to spray it into the root or up into it. So next I'm going to use the Kristin s beach, wave spray. This helps to really give some strands softening and definition so for this you only want to really focus from like the middle down and there you have it. My flat aren't waves that take no time at all, hope you enjoyed this tutorial and to see more hair tutorials. You can check out below and make sure to subscribe.
