Styling starts at 4:22! How to style easy relaxed waves into my short Asian hair with just a flat iron. I have a home-cut LOB (long bob). Takes just 10 minutes on average. It's really simple and anyone can do it, so if you're thinking about how to spice up that LOB haircut of yours don't hesitate to try this out! This is about styling loose curves & easy beachy relaxed waves into your short/medium bob - not really a full on Curly Hair tutorial - let me know if you're interested to see a more full on super curly hair style & I'll make a video! I love the choppy wavy bob hairstyles i see on Pinterest so this is really a how to on styling that.

Hi guys welcome back to our channel today, let's style, some easy waves into our hair using a flat iron if you're new here my name is jean hello, and this is our channel. So this is my diy cut long bob and i've actually done this by myself, like so many times since the tutorial video i posted up eight months ago. So if you want to check out how you can do this by yourself at home, just click on that link which i'm gon na post up right there if you're super busy - and you want to skip straight to the part where you see me just getting it Done just check out the time marker in the description below, but actually this can be a little bit tricky at times for certain people, so i just want to take some time to talk about those stuff and share them with you in case. It helps you to make a better job of styling your hair, so all you need for today is actually the straightening iron just a couple of hair clips so that you can section off parts of your hair and keep them out of the way while you're curling. The other parts, and also just a protective hair product anything will do hair oil or, in my case i actually like this light. Mousse from this russian brand siberica professional i've got this iron and it's not switched on its cold, and i just want to show you the basic curling motion that you got to do throughout your whole, head of hair. To get that wavy. Look, it's very simple! All you do is hold up a small section of the hair, clamp, pull and twist as you go towards the end and pull out if you're doing this for the first time or you're new at this, you probably want to do exactly this. Have the iron not switched on and just you know, go along and practice the motion and see what's comfortable for you, maybe you're like me, you, like the iron coming in from below and then holding it and curling it with your hands or, like some other people. They actually prefer coming in from the top curling and pulling out, so it depends on you, maybe also whether you're left or right handed. I don't know. The angle of the curl is very important. So if you do this like too much of a right angle as you pull away from your head, i find creates this very tight or column-like curl when you release it, which is a little bit too curly for this, that we're going for which is a lot More relaxed, so i tend to try to just achieve like a very loose wavy, look akin to the choppy bob hairstyles that you kind of see on pinterest. So i tend to go 45 degrees downwards to just get a very loose wave, big tip. You really don't want to do this with a big chunk of hair each time you know i i'm i'm an impatient person as well, so i have done that before, like i've grabbed bigger sections of hair. Thinking that i can get this done like much quicker. No better because it ends up looking really stiff and the big chunks of hair, with the same girl going just no, i generally speaking, the results work better with small selected chunks, also because the look that we're going for here is just this relaxed beachy waist. I find that, actually it's not really necessary to get every single section of your hair, curl um. I tend to go quite easy on the inner layer and the curl a little bit more as i reach the upper layers of my hair. Also, there's absolutely no need to keep a death grip on the flat iron and to press it really really hard just enough pressure to hold the hair in place and slide the iron out smoothly, it's sufficient to achieve what you needed to do now with all that Said and out of the way get started curling the hair before these bags came in, i would stay up all night praying hoping i can help my people now that i do everything i grew up.
