Just showing you my routine for straightening my hair forward. I use a Chi Air .5" flatiron, Garnier Fructis Play and Chi Helmet Head hairspray.

Everyone so today, I'm going to show you how to straighten short hair, which is what I have on my head. I think the first step is to turn it on, but I'm sure you already knew that so, let's move along my hair kinda looks red in this lighting. I like this new lighting in my room. This is like. I have a desk now, which I didn't use to have. I have like uh turn lights that are here like a good spot to have lights. While this is warming up, let's read a relic that I found in my room. It says to Rebecca today: you will not admit that you are 80, you will not get a date with Warren Beatty. You may go on a trip to Haiti, but now you are an old lady love, Paul, a boo, so I probably should use a comb or something like that, but I don't have the ceramic one. I only have a plastic one and this accidentally touches it. It will melt so what I usually do is just straighten my hair with my fingers. So if I'm straightening my hair forward, I straighten it front to back if I'm straightening it into a pompadour. I straighten it back to front so today, I'm gon na be straightening. It front to back because I'm putting my hair forward got it. Okay, you real so what's funny. Is this isn't even the natural state of my hair, because I got a keratin treatment unless it just wash out completely. My hair looks really curly, like really curly, so you're going to want to take really small sections and kind of curve it at the end. Otherwise it's going to be like this at least my hair is. I have like 70 hundred million Cowlitz in my head cheesecake. So I'm sure you already know this if you straighten your hair, but you have to straighten it when it's dry, you can't straighten what it's wet, unless, of course you have one of those spiffy wet to dry straighteners, but I'm kind of scared of those. So I don't even want to try it wow. What is this? This has to happen right now, I'm going to attempt to fix that by nope, see how that's doesn't work because it hates me my hair is getting super long like I've never been able to see. My hair before see, I think what the issue is today with all the things is that I was driving with the windows down. While my hair was curly the best time to straighten your hair is not now it's after you, let it air dry. You don't really want to blow-dry it unless you absolutely have to you, don't want to apply more heat to your hair than is necessary, not that this is necessary, because I could just you know, wear my hair curly, but I mean who wants to do that? Oh, maybe I want to mention that I'm using a chiere, half-inch straightener and if you're wondering why I made a brand new channel to put videos on it's, because I wasn't sure if um anyone that was subscribed to watch my comedy videos or my travel videos, would Necessarily care about aesthetic type, videos, beauty, guru, type videos um, but I have like a bunch of beauty guru here yeah. Let'S try that word again and I have a bunch of beauty, guru, friends like Peter lewd and X bar caged and the same thing broke, and I can see forty and juicy star. Oh seven, and just I mean a lot of people, purse buzz um, I'm sure. I'M forgetting someone and I apologize if I forgot you Andrews Wow, my camera stopped recording and I have no idea when it stopped, so I think I'm going to have to get used to having longer clips why I hope that didn't stop forever ago this. This is not gon na happen. This you're gon na have to go down, that's a cheese, it I'm almost done and if you're wondering how long this took me, I have no idea since my camera stopped. So I mean we'll guess that it's approximately 15 minutes and we're just gon na curl you down because you're bad you see. Do you see the alfalfa all over my head? I can't even do it okay. So what I'm going to do is turn this off and unplug it and put it in my bathroom, because it's really hot, I don't want my desk to burn down so BRB back see I realized. While I was walking to the bathroom that I didn't even have to say BRB because I could have just edited, actually I probably did edit it, but you know I didn't edit it yet because right now, I'm doing it and I still have to edit it. So what I'm doing is I'm using Garnier Fructis play style and I'm putting that on the stubborn stupid parts of my hair because they don't want to stay down and what I'm going to do is just hold my hand there for eight hours, not really see how That'S still sticking up well, let me put some more stuff in the rest of my hair and then I'll go get the big guns. So you like that in the back there see that why so, when I whipped out our the big guns, Qi helmet head and what I'm going to do is use my comb and I'm going to comb it forward and spray it directly on the comb. And I'm just gon na leave it there because I don't know another way to do it. Oh I'm hoping, I hope I didn't get hair spray in my camera lens. Am I an idiot yeah? You know don't answer that, not that I would hear you anyway. So I'm just gon na pretend you said no and what I'm gon na do is. I don't know what I'm gon na. Do I'm gon na wipe it? Oh that's, you know a failure. I don't even know if that's in the same spot, I'm sorry if it's not that rhymed okay, so I'm gon na comb this through now and hopefully it will stay yay. Then it's time to manipulate it. I, like that word. I like that, I had the chance to use it and you do so with your fingers, so it doesn't look like you just dragged a comb through your hair, so tada, my hair is done, and I hope you like this video and I'll more videos as such. In the future, so I mean subscribe and you know watch them when I upload them and I'm gon na do the pompadour video pretty soon, which is like the James Dean, / Elvis type of Johnny. Bravo, hair um! magpiessecret: I also have short curly hair that I straighten like, all the time. I find the best way for me to get it to lay flat after I finish getting it all straight is to go through it with the flat iron a few times quickly so that the hair is warm, then put on a tight knit hat. I wear the hat while I do my makeup, and by the time I'm done my hair is cool and flat!

Brenda J: Try wrapping your hair. It's a trend now to avoid heat from dryer and iron. Maybe no chemicals too. Comb your wet hair plastering it down tight to your skull, in a circular pattern and wear a tight bandana till it's dry. Sleep overnight. Check out videos on it. May work for you.
