Hey guys today, I showed you how I did these messy waves using a flat iron. I'Ve done a wavy hair tutorial before using my bed head wave artist, but somebody had requested that I do waves with a flat iron. I don't know if this is the kind of ways she was talking about, but whenever she had asked that I had actually done this to my hair just a few days prior and what had happened is I wouldn't have sleep one night with a braid in the Front of my hair - and I always try to take those out before I go to sleep and that way the hair relaxes overnight and I usually won't wake up with weird kinky hair. But this night I didn't take out the braids. So that's what I woke up with and I didn't want to have to rewash. My hair really wanted to. You know: wear second day dirty hair. So what I ended up doing was this and the waves ended up blending in perfectly with the waves from the braids. So I guess, if you did one user flat iron and you can just put a bunch of braiding your hair and end up with pretty much the same thing. So also, if you don't have a waiver or waive iron, I don't know what you want to call them like. I do, then this is another option for you. So I think this in comparison to the wave artist looks a little bit more messy and the waves are smaller, which I did talk about in the tutorial. But I really like this - I think it's fun. It looks very messy and voluminous, and I love that kind of hair, so I hope you guys enjoy SWANA, see how I did it and keep on watching. Okay, I'm just going to start by sectioning off my hair. Depending on how thick your hair is. You can section it, however, you like, but this is how I'm doing it. I'Ve already got my flat iron heated up ready to go, so I'm just going to take a section of hair and I'm starting at the top and I'm bringing it down and right we're in you want to bring it up back down suck up well, I normally Do is just go up and down just like that kind of in one fluid motion a little too much hair here you could start you if you notice, when I start at the top, I'm always going down. First, you could go up first, if you wanted to whatever you want to do with that, you can see that doing it with the Flatiron gives me a little bit of a smaller, tighter wave as opposed to my bed type. That makes my wave artist it's much larger, so I think this is a one inch flat iron. I do have one somewhere. That is, I think, one and a half inches that one would probably make closer to the size size of the waves of the wave artists. If they would pry me a little bit bigger, so keep that in mind as well, whenever you're choosing your Flatiron for this, the width of it will make a difference. So I'm doing fairly thin sections here and I'm just trying to be consistent with the size of the sections that I take so that my waves will look a little bit more consistent. Now, I'm moving on to the sides and the back this side. I always pretty much just wear it behind my ears. I'M not super concerned about it, but you still want it all to look consistent, so I'm going to go ahead and just add some ways over here: let's ease back now that we've got it all waived and we're done with the flatiron I'm taking this Sally. Hershberger. 24K hair paste - and I'm just going to take this on my finger, rub it into my hand and then I'm just going to kind of scrunch it into my hair. You can see that this is giving a little bit more volume with when I style my hair. Like this, it gets volume in it pretty easily. If your hair does not get volume in it as easily, I would recommend using a hair powder or a texturizing spray. This Pantene dry shampoo is really good for not only a dry shampoo, but I find it's also really great for texture. So if you are having trouble getting this kind of volume, I would suggest using one of those other kinds of products, but, like I said for me, it gets quite pretty quickly. Now I'm just going to set it in place with some hairspray I'm using this got to the met Verizon Hair Spray. I always say to use your hair spray as a styling tool and this styling product, not just as a finishing product, I'm going to go ahead and use some shine spray just because anytime, I'm doing sort of a textured wavy type of look anything like that. I love using a shine spray because it just helps bring out all the dimension and very textured hairstyles, so that is it we are done. So here are our beachy waves. I hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you next time. Bye,
