Hi and welcome to the braiding large academy, my name's Lauren in and we're going to be demonstrating some techniques on different hairstyle today on afro hair and European straighten afro hair with a straight line. Okay, so here we go need to section the piece of hair. First, I'm just taking a random section from the middle of the head, but usually you would start from the nape of the neck. Now this is natural hair, so we must make sure it's completely combed out before we put the hot iron on it. Now, when you're, putting a hot iron on going to make sure you keep a consistent stroke from the top to the bottom of the hair is to prevent any lines in the hair and, as you can see, the difference between the now straighten the hair. With a hot iron and his natural hair, take our second section, for you try to keep them even it allows the heat to be distributed evenly and allows you to get the best results that you can comb it through from beginning to end and then keep a Consistent stroke from scalp all the way down to the end of the hair, now you really shouldn't have to go over it more than once, as you can see, I've gone over it each of those two strands once and it's being sufficient enough to straighten their hair. You don't want to over process the hair they'll want to overheat, the hair, as you can see, I'm holding the hair to the head, because that's the direction I want to land and for I'll do. Okay. So that's how you straighten natural black afro here with the tongs, as you can see, also consistent in the stroke from the root to the tip and if you stop in between but end up getting lines in your hair. And you don't want that. So, and also you don't overheat, the hair over closest the hair anywhere. So, as you can see, there's a difference between what I've just straightened and the natural texture of is here. So that's how you do it
