LymaSavin22's webcam video July 02, 2010, 01:50 PM

Hi you two it's alyssa again today, I'm not gon na be singing today, I'm actually gon na be doing I'm this with the first of a little series, i'm doing they're just taking care of you here now I realize us is black women like to run to Me use and all that stuff we don't really realize that I have very healthy and very delicate. We don't take good care of so um today actually did my hair. So when walking a little bit of that process and I'm going to show you how to flat iron hair properly, this is the best way that you know. I thought I my ass, how I do it I mean people do it differently, but this I find is the best and healthiest way to do without burning your hair or breaking out and you're, not in surf splitting it's time for churn um just to talk about Trimming real quick when your hair is shorter. You need to get your hair trimmed more often um. I'Ve always had long hair, and I will trim my hair myself, probably every two to four weeks. I think that's usually pretty good to just trim your ends, not to cut it or do anything drastic, we'll get a regular old-fashioned charm. When your hair is shorter, I would definitely say: maybe every two weeks see how they should trim it up. You know just because your hair is much faster rate, so it does split a lot easier lot quicker. Um. Today I gave myself a touch-up. I use the box perm, I'm gon na. Do it yourself type of person um. I tried a different one. Normally I use olive oil conditioned air comes in the green box and I'm yeah I like them. But since I cut my hair, I'm gon na try something a little different that may be better formulated, psyches Africa's best box palm um. It was good, so I / Nick throw accident women relaxing - I you can't let it sit in there for too long so make sure you pay attention to the times and try not to go back over. You know previously relax it, but I just did a touch-up. So I just got my new girl um after we ride the guide me wash it out. I did a a leave-in conditioner. I used Africa's best um leave in conditioner. It'S very nothing. I could do it. It'S um. It comes with the box panel. It'S a rinse out oil, even I used it as deep conditioner, so I left it in my hair for about 20 to 30 minutes rinsed it out, and then, when I got out the shower on towel dry, my hair and then I applied some about a quarter Size, you don't mean a whole lot, just fun quarter size into your wet hair and use a paddle brush, which I think every woman should have. I like one of these types of bristles, it's soft. You can see it there. You go yeah, it's softer in here. At air coming out - and I find that when I'm doing my hair, it doesn't pull out as much as like a boar bristle brush. I used the, i forgive us call, but it starts with the day. Give it up close. You see, it has like three problems. Three different sizes: that's perfect! For it. You know helping to detangle your hair and i also use a detangling comb. I'M you can find these at one more they're pretty cheap. I think I pity, maybe me neither this one. I'Ve had it for quite a while and very good, and you see you just literally just come right through your hair on this part. I just took out I'm afraid so. Yeah comes right through your hair and it's perfect for detangling. Yes, you know I did brush that back um, so yeah, that's just kind of that process. Now I've talked about the shower i- I deconditioned it, and then I use a little bit of olive oil, moisturizing, hair lotion and I swear by this stuff um. I used for everything I using. I will dry my hair, I using a flat iron. My hair i'll show you how i use it to fly when do right here, um applied about a dime-size and then I'm blow drying my hair. From the back to front. I didn't even home, I lose attachments, but i did use the paddle brush. It just helps to keep their straight and it helps in the detangling process. Usually looking down, I'm looking at myself the cameras up here, no, my laptop so um. Now I threw out i brewed right other side of stomach line or what I normally do. I part my hair into four sections from crown to the nape of my neck and then from ear to ear, and I bright it off mmm not going to be a perfect braid. You can twist it if you have like clips clock. Clips are good, duckbill clips are good. If you have really short hair, you can use some of these little clippie thing is they're fine um, the sou section off your hair and I'm gon na be looking over here at my mirror. So I'm yeah I'm going to show you how I flat iron, my hair and I'm not probably styling a little differently. So you can see you know just being a general idea. Is nothing fancy it's something easy that anybody can do. We can do it at home. Um, if you're out, you knew it, it's really quick, really easy. Um, first and foremost, you make sure your hair. Is you don't want any tangles in it? As far as my tools are concerned, i'm using right little flat iron, it's a Amy's multi-hit ceramic! I am. I iron goes up to 20, I put it somewhere between 15 and 25. They care. So I you yeah, it's like 17-18 is perfect heat for you, because you don't want to go through your hair too much of the flower I'm gon na get it once. Maybe twice if you have to um, I use the olive oil um. What I do is I just put like a drop on the counter or table right now, I'm going to computer desk, so I'm not going to put an alarm just sticker on back in here. Like so and you're going to take first being able to detangle your hair, so go ahead and put it through it and as best you can, you know, mine is relatively detangle it back homes a little. I I'm going to make your part you want to take just enough game. You don't want to take too much because then may have to over. You know two and three and four times to get it to your desired level of straightness. I'M just going to use a clip, because it's just this little section that I have left so yeah once you have a section off you're gon na take a little bit. If you see how much I use just a little bit of your olive oil or your coconut oil, whatever you use to find use blue minute, which I do use a little bit, because the heat will melt, the press, volume and it'll drip. All of me, Martin, and do you want to use your home and kind of pull the oil through? I usually I usually take a little bit more and put on my ends, because that's why my hair dries out the most - and this is a style that I was for. However long you can keep it not usually keep mine for a week and then I met restyle it or do it some other guy online and get close to the root. But since I just relaxing my here, I don't forget to close this close inna. I'M gon na flat on my hair, I put a little curl init. Don'T you see it unless just keeps it to last longer, like I said cuz eventually, the probe will drop, it'll be much straighter, but it'll still maintain the same shape, I'm big on shape. I feel like me, do your hair each focus on the shape that you do it because crazy drop? You see it so fun kind of crazy right here, because of how I curled it. Oh yeah, like I said I'll silent again for you at the end and you're just going to keep on enjoying that nice slow, but this little section you really only takes me like two or three minutes. I'M in my next video I'll show you how to stop, know you're here. Once you have a flag, you know you can do a lot of different things and use a lot of accessories. Hi leti olive oil up my hair. So please see me skipping parts. That'S why yeah it's very important that you don't use too much heat in your hair, a home by the heat styling and make your hair break in their eye out, and especially during the summer time, it's kind of point in this cookie you swore
