How To Curl Short Hair With A Flat Iron | Perfectly Posh, Monat, Amika, Ogx

Hey guys, it's proj a B welcome back to my channel, so I have had this video highly requested to show how I do my short hair. So, as you may have noticed, I cut 8 inches off of my hair last week and I'm totally loving it. I have short hair for the longest time, like my whole entire life and back then I didn't really know how to do my hair do cute things with my hair, so now that I've had long hair, I can totally appreciate short hair. So much more because I know how to style it so much better than I used to so I actually look cute with short hair now, anyway, in this video, I'm going to show you guys how I do it. These curls on my hair, using my flat iron and then some of the products that I use to take care of my hair. I use Monat, shampoo and conditioner and the hair oils just like that, and then I also use some stuff from Tosh and then some other things that my hairstylist and YouTube maybe buy without further ado. Let'S get in to the Hannah. Do okay, so I just blow-dried my hair, I used the end mint fix prett if you haven't seen my video using this before I'll put that in the cards above I love using this when I'm drying my hair, when it's short, it really helps mend the split End, I don't really have any, because I just got my hair done, but I still use it just to help protect them, and then I also used my mon a blowout cream or mo de anima outfit. If you guys want a review on the Mon eight products, let me know I've been using them for about two months now so interview my honest opinion on those. If you want anyway, we are going to get in to how to curl my hair. So I'm going to section the top part off because I have very thick hair, so I have to get some off my head, so I can curl B under layers just use a little clip. I have this down here and I just use a flat iron. I think there's like a 1 inch flag to curl my hair, so I'll take a little section about that big and I curl it away from my face and I just spiral the curling iron. So I guess the Flatiron until I get to the end of my hair, I do it kind of slow and boom there's a little curl Beckett. I love these so much. I think they are so so cute, and I keep doing this all around my head until I'm done only takes me about like 10 minutes made me my whole head. I really like this way. It'S so nice and easy. The back is a little bit tricky coming here is a tad bit shorter in the back, but make it work, even if it doesn't look curly. As long as I get some volume on these under layer, that's all I'm really looking for so there we go and on to the other side, and once again I just curl it away from my face and on the under layer. I do all the curls. The same way, usually on the top layer, I do too, but sometimes I will like do towards the face and away from the face. First layer is done and I went down just beside of my hair and I keep this side and up because I don't know it's just easier. You know how to do that, and I kind of come through that and then pick up a section that has not been curled yet Wow, this tutorials, so fun huh. It'S really easy to do your hair, like that, this side of my hair is thicker, since my part is to the side, so I do take another section of it and leave it up because yeah I really suck here with these top layer pieces. I don't start the curl all the way up. I start about halfway down then here that way, my curls don't get too wonky, because I notice you, if you start too high, that just makes your hair look way too short, so you got on these top layers. I just go about halfway down and the great part about using a straightener to curl. Your hair is, if you start higher, you can straighten it to smooth it out and then get down to the curl part and add curls, and so it's really nice and to do the back. I kind of just feel around and I can feel what strands are so straight and then I can also use a mirror, but I don't own a mirror in here. So then, I just kind of run my fingers through the curls to loosen them up like so and then I'm going to add a little bit of The Enchantress hero serum from perfectly posh, just a tiny little bit, because my hair is so short now I mainly It focuses on the ends and on the curl. I don't want to get too close to my roots, because they can get kind of greasy okay. So now that is smooth through I'm going to use my Amica undone texture spray to add some texture, and I mainly focus this under here. So I can add some volume to the hair and see it kind of just gives a little bit of lift. This stuff is awesome. It smells amazing and then a little bit on the back just to give it some volume on the underneath. I don't like to appease my hair, so I use the texture spray instead and then sometimes I'm feel a little crazy I'll add some to the curls just to give them some nice texture. I love texture spray. It is a life changer and then lastly, I'll finish off with the smoothing Shea pleat care spring from OGX. I really am loving this hairspray. It has shea butter in it, so it really helps hydrate your hair in a small mazing and, like I just breathe in so much of that anyway. That is my finish. It takes me about ten minutes to do it. Will the curling part of it? It takes me about 10 minutes to hair dry it. So it doesn't take me that long to do my hair - and this will last me quite a few days these curls really last. I don't know what it is about. Curls and straighteners, but they last so much longer than curls with a curling iron, and so these curls will last me a few days, and I just used the Monat dry shampoo in between washes to keep my ends or my roots, not Gracie so yeah. That is how I do my hair. I use perfect posh products, I use Monique products and then I use any. You know random assortment of ameica and OGX. I love all the brands.
