Actress Bre-Z Cuts Hair In Chicago

Season 2 of The CW's 'All American' premiered last night. Best known as playing "Coop," actress Bre-Z has also gained fame as a rapper. But something very few people know...she's actually got some serious skills with a set of hair clippers because she used to be a barber! Our Brandon Pope took her to Urbane Blades in Chicago for some cuts and conversation with fans.

Season two of The CW is all-american premiered last night, best known as playing coop actors. Breezy has also gained fame as a rapper, but something very few people know about her. She'S actually got some serious skills with a set of hair clippers. That'S right, breezy used to be a barber. I took her to urbane blade in Chicago for some cuts in conversation with fans. All right, you may know breezy from CW, is all Americans playing coot, but what you may have not known is she used to be cutting hairs? I come from a family of barbers. I think, since the chowder was kind of is in my blood, we got some people inside waiting for a little lineup themselves. I have actually seen all America I'm a big fan Lucy. I think I started it like like a Saturday. I finished it by Tuesday. Did you always envision like acting for yourself? It felt real to me, like I feel like I actually knew like ooh yeah. I think that's what people liked the most is that it's relatable in his diverse, I feel like that show has something for everybody, and I like that, it's reaching a lot of people. You know not just black people, not white, you know. Maybe anybody well got you motivated to get into the acting business. Well and part was the first thing and that just actually came in here. So it really wasn't like a thing that I was chasing. I just just happened. We'Ll go to video games like hanging out with my boys going out to the city. You know Chicago so beautiful so much stuff to do it, especially when the weather gets nice. Everybody talks about rooftop rooftop party. We only get good Wonder for like 3 months out of the year, so you got ta take advantage of it. I get that it's negative 55 here pass up everywhere. So what do you do like in the morning where the weather says it's negative? Anything? What do you do in that situation? We got bond the lip scarf, gloves, hat and went to work just sucked it up so you're a big guy right yeah. What do you do when you get to work? Do you go in the bathroom and just peel off? Yeah, I got some I'm already sweating at that point, like a whole heat. Finally inside me walking outside steam coming from my head, so we like to do for fun when you're not working. What'S to go to. You got any other music, anything being on TV and stuff. It was like the first time you felt like a like. A celebrity, like was a purse like encounter. You had with a fan or you used today, yeah, you know just getting stopped anywhere. I mean I'm used to, but it's always still surprised. You know they huh. I mean that Empire was such a huge. Just like I don't know this is like everywhere. I would also the music brought a lot of location that wasn't Europe, that was your original music. Yes was a first love musical and I really all right. We gave some cuts to the community, help some people out win. How was it it was good. I mean thank you very buddy for coming through. Thank you urban blaze for having me shout out to all the barbers in here, and thank you for showing that love. We appreciate your work, one of the coolest things about this whole entire experience. She came ready. All she had a whole Barbara's kick a little suitcase. She does this on the regular. That'S a real barber! Why didn't you let her cut your hair Braden, you know. Listen. I already had a little cut going on. Okay, thank you between a barber and their client is very sacred. Two weeks loyalty is key. Like any relationship ask well, you know, if you didn't know, breezy was a barber. You'Re really not alone. Here here is how her all-american co-star Taye Diggs reacted. When I told him about it, yeah huge it barber, yeah, she's, really good breezy. She is yeah yeah, yeah she's, a barber hair net back. There were a lot of fun but yeah. Even they didn't know that so they kind of cool you can like work with somebody so closely, and these hidden talents and just be kind of stowed away.
