Hey everyone welcome back to the channel today we're going to be looking at the new wolf cut. I think it is the butterfly cuts and it's just a lot of layers. I think a bit softer than a wolf cut with the way it's cut, but yeah. It'S sort of like reminiscent of the rachel from friend's haircut, but with a modern twist. I know we've got the octopus haircut, which i've also done a video on, but the butterfly haircut is just a little bit softer when it comes to the finished result and you get a bit more. That'S maybe phoebe buffet so i'll pop these little reference pictures in here, so you can see who i'm talking about, but there's just a bit more sort of life to it and a bit softer than the wolf cut that i know everybody has been obsessing about for The past two years so yeah, let's get into the haircut right guys, so really easy section pattern. You know i like to work it easy so high point of the head here and then, where is it straight down there to behind the back of the ear which just separates the front from the back and then what we're going to do is we're going to Put in a soft butterfly haircut, so what we want to be doing is we'll be working with vertical sections on the side of the head that then twist to horizontal, so where we would come through there. We want to twist and that's what's going to give us the shape so there's our sectioning through there to there we're just going to do vertical sections through there, i'm going to pull straight out from the head here. So we want to fall to about jaw. So about there and then we're just going to cut our first lining, which is there and just soften off next section straight down. So we're going to pull out through here. Picking up our first section as our guide through here, find our guide and then we're going to twist. What this is going to do is going to give us a little bit more length around the face, because we're twisting we'll get a little bit of over direction and then we get that shape through there so again, section straight down, just half that if you've got, If you can't get it all in one hand, half it find the guide and i'm just going to start point cutting in and i'll change the angle. So you can see what i'm doing, but we just wanted to create that shape. So again, we're just pulling straight out through there and we're going to twist that will give us that beautiful butterfly layer all around the face. So last section now we're going to pull straight forward, find our guide and then we're going to twist and then we're going to point cut that into our guide and that's going to be exactly the same. Mirrored on the other side and then you'll be able to see what this gives us when we drop this down, it's going to give us a really nice soft, butterfly layer. So there's both sides complete, really lovely symmetry through this haircut and you've got all of that. Soft texture all around the face - and this is the butterfly haircut, so you get all of that real softness. We could open it all up to create that or it's just all soft all around the face. So now what we're going to do to link up the front with the back we're going to pull up the last piece of this front section here and then we're going to work in vertical sections again, going straight down the back. We'Re going to push forward to create a 45 degree finger angle and i'm going to be taking that off point cutting so just spin around. So we're going to pull forward like that. There'S our 45 degree angle, then we're going to point cut that off and again we're going to be elevating to the middle. So we keep enough of the perimeter length there. We'Re done all layered front and back you can see the back layer through there keeping a lot of that weight in here. This is why i say it's quite similar to the wolf cut, because i want to be maintaining a lot of that length, but it's just a lot softer around the front, so we're going to blow dried and get it styled. So after a little bit of refining. Just taking off those edges and just soften them off this is the finished result, so you can see. You'Ve got all that softness texture through there with the fringe, where we're working here. I literally pulled a little triangle section just on that top piece and just shaped that in a little bit more just to soften off, just to give a little bit more face shape. This mannequin has got something in it. It'S quite sticky. I don't really know shampooed it as well, but it's just got something building up on the hair, but that's it so you can see all that texture and layers, but it's just lovely and soft all through there i'll show you the back, because everyone always complains that I don't show the back, but they're, still nice and long again. I'Ve straightened this to try and get it super smooth and it looks lovely and shiny, but there's a bit of frizz to this mannequin there's see my hands, they stick on it, so they know. What'S on it but yeah, that's it just so you can see that shape through there, but that is a butterfly cut. So if you've enjoyed the video, let me know by giving it a thumbs. I think it's really nice and uh free-flowing to be honest, a lot of movement in there, but yeah definitely sort of rachel from friends. Phoebe from friends, but just yeah cool right.
