This Clairol video is about the hottest hair color trends for Summer.

Hair color is an important beauty, tool. And what's exciting about this season, and these trends is that they can be achieved at home.. It'S been a rough winter.. People are wanting to review, evolve and emotionally feel good.. So when the sun comes out, it's just a perfect time to change your overall look, starting with your hair, color. You're, seeing vibrancy both in blondes, brunettes and redheads, but certainly a dimensional feel. Blondes this season, it's about adding dimension, a hair color. That gives you a sense of a high note, a mid note and some depth so that you really create this amazing multi-dimensional end result.. It'S not about an even color from root to tip.. To achieve this, look at home, it's not about using multiple boxes or multiple shades.. It'S again about selecting the right. Brand., Try a natural medium blonde shade and give yourself color. That'S textured and dimensional with highlights. Apply your hair color to mid-shaft. First then, root area leaving the ends free from the color to create a blonde shade, full of dimension and highlights.. This gives that time for the color to process on the mid-shaft and ends and create that dimension that you desire. It's not about walking around with someone else's hair, color. And that's what's so special about Nice'N Easy. Super excited this season, because there is such a shift In the brunette hair coloring., We call that technique, brunette bronzing., And what I mean by that is this burst of color, but at the same time, their overall hair color still remains in the brunette family.. It'S a wonderful way to add vibrancy and tone without a huge change or shift in your hair color.. To achieve this, look, it's simple. First select a shade two levels lighter than your current hair color. Stay in the warm family, -- gold, bronze. Use, select strands from the top generally about a half an inch in diameter, using your applicator tip, applying from root to tip Lying it on the surface, going to the next section in a circular pattern throughout the top., And you will see this amazing warm glow on the surface of your hair, balanced and blended, with your existing hair color., The red hair color for the season, it's all about Red on red., Red hair, color used to be something that we paid attention to in the fall, but today we have many different tonalities of red. And women want that beautiful red hair color. That appears very natural. But at the same time, has this amazing burst of color. To achieve a red on red effect again select a hair color shade two levels lighter than your existing hair color. Apply your hair color on the mid-shaft and ends first and the last 5 to 10 minutes At the root area, creating a multi-dimensional red on red result. Because of the great selection people love to be able to experiment with their hair color, but at the same time, feel confident.. I recognize the importance that it makes. When you think about how people are described. They'Ll say so, and so: she's blonde. So and so she's brunette, or that beautiful ravishing redhead. This season, I'm most excited about seeing the sunshine.. I know that there is one beauty tool. I can count on to really add some sun or light or energy into my life and that's hair color. Janet Christenson: Hello Marcy! I have been watching most of Clairol videos. I am a Hispanic curly hair brunette who has been coloring gray roots from an 5N to an 4N. I love the highlighting ideas that you and James have presented in your videos. James video demos the application of the 9A Nice & Easy Natural Light Ash Blonde and in this video you demo "Brunette Bronzing" with Nice & Easy 6W 1168 Natural Light Caramel Brown. Since I do not have "virgin" hair, would I have the same results as your models in the video? I like the idea of caramel highlights. Thank you.
