Hi gorgeous in today's video I'm sharing hair color hacks with you for the best possible at-home, hair, color results and I'm partnering with Revlon for this video. The hair color that I will be using in each of the examples that I'm demonstrating for you today is their new butter, cream, hair color and the shape that I'm using is vivid, intense copper. A couple years ago I was using a strawberry blonde shade from the color soap line exclusively. It was my go-to color and then Revlon discontinued it and I couldn't find it anymore. I was crushed, so you can only imagine how excited I am to see how many Reds they have added to this new buttercream line. On top of so many other diverse colors. Also here we go hair, color hack number, one that when you have dyeing your hair, you always want to make sure that you are starting with hair, that is free of product and has not been washed for at least 24 hours and the natural oils that you Already have on your scalp will also act as a barrier to protect you from any irritation that may occur. While we're talking about preparation here, it is also extremely important that you perform a patch test prior to applying any box dye number one with the check and ensure that you're getting the color that you want and number two to make sure that you're not going to Have an allergic reaction to the formula hair color hack number two: applying coconut oil onto your scalp before using an AK home hair color will provide a protective barrier between your scalp and the hair dye. It'S best to apply this at least an hour before you plan to color your hair and allow it to penetrate into the scalp. You don't need to apply a whole lot. It doesn't need to be dripping from your hair. A little bit goes a long way here and if you're wondering if this will affect your color results, it absolutely will not hair color hack number three to avoid any stains that can occur on your skin, while you're coloring your hair, apply olive oil onto those areas And this will act as a barrier to prevent any stains from forming. Now, when I color my hair at home, I typically divide it up into four different sections, so I have two sections in the front and two in the back - and this is another thing that is so great about coconut oil application beforehand is that it makes the Hair much easier to section off like this too, and then you are ready for color application. One of the things that I do really like about Revlon's butter cream line is that they have included a brush for a more precise and even application, and it works very well hair, color hack number matter. What number where, as we here's another one for you, if you happen to get a stain on your skin, while you're dyeing your hair, I have a very simple solution for you: take them next year of toothpaste and olive oil on a cotton ball and rub it On your skin, it does take a little bit of effort, but with patience and perseverance you will get that stain right off and the final hair color hack I had to share with you - is using a beer rinse after you're done. Coloring, your hair will help to add extra shine and lighten the color a little bit. I can't show you all that and not show you what the final color looks like with the vivid, intense copper shade from Revlon butter, cream, hair color line. It'S gorgeous and my hair is so soft and silky after using all of these haircolor hacks and the Revlon butter cream, hair color, and because the Revlon color silk line is color. That cares. They'Ve also included a two week post, coloring hair mask, and these contain a mixture of argon avocado, sunflower and olive oils to give your hair resiliency shine and vibrancy. If you're interested in checking out the Revlon buttercream line, it is available in Walmart, Walgreens CVS and Rite Aid stores and for the price that you're paying you really can't beat the quality or the results that you get with these fantastic drugstore box dyes still one my All-Time products, let me know if you've tried any of the haircolor tax that I shared today and in a video coming very soon. I will also be sharing my tips and tricks for making your hair color last longer. There are a few things that you can do. Thanks so much for watching and I'll see you again next time.

Amy Ferguson: This shade is absolutely gorgeous! If you love Kate Winslet's red hair in Titanic, then you will adore this.

abunchahooey: I've used Colorsilk for years, it has no ammonia and it's always worked well for me. I'll have to pick up this Buttercream version and try it next time. I use baby wipes for dye stains on skin, it's always worked for me.

MomNMe Beauty: Haven't tried any of these hacks, but I do apply Vaseline in lieu of the olive oil to my skin near the hairline. It prevents bleeding and staining, too. I wish all home coloring kits included that little brush. It looks like it makes the process SOOOOOOO much easier. Beautiful color, Zabrena!

Lizzie Modern: I've been using a mixture of pure henna and cassia obovata (60/40) for 11 years now and it's always given me a perfect copper / orange red shade. Highly recommended to anyone who might want to try something different, or wants to get away from chemical dyes. That being said, this actually looks amazing. I'm surprised the color came out so vibrant.

Suzanne Miller: Could you consider testing "color-safe" shampoos to see which brands really are safe for colored hair and give a review of these? Thank you!

Angela LifeWithMigraines: I NEEDED the coconut oil and olive oil hacks to keep it off scalp and face! lol Thank you so much! My husband actually does my hair color for me at home. :)

Diane Welzel: I've been using Revlon Colorsilk #42 Medium Auburn for close to 20 years. Absolutely love it and so does my hair. I found their ButterCream line didn't have the depth of tones that the 'plain' line does so I'm happy to be able to keep my red for only $2.97!! I'm different in that I color my new growth and never touch the already colored parts of my hair again so I'm able to get by with only one box every 3-4 weeks. I'd love to find one of those red sealers I've read about but just haven't gotten one. I use any old shampoo and conditioner about twice a week with great results. Oh and my natural shade is like Cruella DeVille, it's very dark brown (almost black)...unless it's turned gray already!! Colorsilk rocks!!!

yensid: Red dye is notorious for being fugitive so I look forward to your next video on how to make it last longer, especially with the summer almost here. Beautiful shade on you, just enough contrast to your skin & eyes but still looks natural

FadeAway1694: Another tip about stains on skin: Witch Hazel works pretty well on a cotton pad. Just be sure and get the kind in the skin care aisle, not the one in first aid.

Bliss Girl: Great timing! I need to recolor my red hair but didn't know what direction to go in! Great hacks -- very helpful!

AmsleyKate: Zabrena, it's like you & Revlon read my mind! I just bought a box of that hair color last week in Medium Auburn. I'd been hesitant to use it until I had searched for a review or video on it. But here it is! Send right to me, courtesy of you! Love it!!

Vamp ليون: I found this at Ollie's for 2 bucks, I thought this was going to be a straight orange color which I was afraid of, but when I dyed my hair it turned out the same color you have. I LOVE IT

Meredith: Garnier's Micllear water is great at getting red hair dye off of the skin! I used it last time I dyed my hair since I didn't have anything else near me and I couldn't believe how well it actually worked

A1977ification: this color looks so much better than the one you've been using before!

Rhonda D: Love the hacks. That color is gorgeous on you!

Charlie Simmons: Love the hacks! . My hack for removing color from my skin is....color removes color! My hairdresser taught me that and it works. Just rub a little dye on the spot then rinse!

Nadia Garcia: I also dyed my hair last week with the Revlon Colorsilk Buttercream, but in the shade Light Natural Brown.

mbofny: Looking beautiful as always! Great hair color.

Jayna White: Also a great tip, I've bee dying my hair bright red for a while now, and I happen to be the clumsiet person you'll never meet (My husband has a special song called my clumsy wife every time I do something clumsy) and I've gotten red hair dye all over my counter tops. I rent my house so I HAD to get it out. The Mr. Clean Magic Erasers works WONDERS to get the red dye out!

April Bier: I use this dye but in a brown shade and I love it! I'm so glad I found it

Julia Katrin Röhr: Really stunning! Love it!

Jesus'Pal: Also, if you catch it early enough, use a little hair color from the bottle on a cotton ball to remove a color stain from around your hairline. Then wipe it clean with soapy water. We used to do it in the salon. Especially helpful for dark hair colors. But remember you have to catch it early or it might not work as well.

fosterec1: Please please do a tutorial on this eye look! I went back to pause the video just to see if I could make something similar on my own.

T.E Mac: Gorgeous!  May I ask: How often do you touch up your roots and how often do you do an overall color?

schnauzerfan1: your hair looks beautiful!!! love this colour on you

Jayna White: Vaseline also works really good as a barrier around your face to stop the staining too! That's what I always use. Plus I try to wipe away the die that gets on my arms with a warm water rag as soon as I spot it! It wipes right away.

SwimmingInSunlight: I love the hacks, but I tend to dye my hair in neon colours and getting any oils off my scalp needs long scrub with hot water, which always dulls the colour :/

Michelle Brannan: That is a gorgeous color on you!!❤

Kimmy Mackenzie: You should try Herbatint, Delorenzo or Tints of Nature or another brand that doesn't test on animals! I used Herbatint when I was a redhead (recently went blonde)

Anye Ross: I am watching this video at the same time I am diying my hair with the exact haircolor you used!

kimberlee533: Great tips! How many boxes do you need for your hair? What is your natural red? I would love it if you did a video showing all of your colors through the years! Love ya!

Lotte Mary: OMG i really thought red was your natural hair color, it looks so amazing and natural on you

whiterosebabie: This color is gorgeous!

MarieJosee Pitre: You're beautiful !!! I love this red tone, it's gorgeous !!

Julia Carrer: Lovely! What was the color you had on your hair before you dyed it? That one was stunning too.

Jolene Rader: the color is beautiful. love the hack ideas.

Milkyway Galazy: Or you can buy one of those packets of hair dye removal from Sally at about $1 or less... it works great too!

MartinaElegant40: You have beautiful hair. Just a little tip: I know that in US it's not common to use henne. I achieve the same color with Henne Color copper and it nourishes my hair. It is natural, no chemicals. It stays on my hair forever, only dye roots afterwards. I recommend it!

Megan Morgan: So I’m thinking of doing my hair this shade but at a salon and need some tips. With summer coming up I’m worried about it ‘bleeding’ into pools. Will this always happen or can it be avoided? How often do you need to redye it? I’m currently dark brown so my hair will have to be lightened first too I’m sure.

Victoria Cutshall: looks beautiful!

Molly Mayor: So happy you use an at home dye I've been doing my hair since I was 13 . I occasional splash out and get the hair dresser to do it but mostly I do it at home because I can't afford $300 plus at the hair dresser nor the time. Anyway love it xox

Vickie: When I put the coconut oil on my scalp, can I put it on my skin, to prevent stains?

THEE Luanne: The color is beautiful. Thank you for the hacks I love you Zabrena

niccole paske: WOW looks gorgeous!

Samantha 1: BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL HAIR!!! Your makeup is gorgeous as well!!!

Abigail Ortiz: Wow I love that color!! Thank you for sharing ❤️

MyNijah Darling: your hair is absolutely gorgeous!

Nikki D: NEVER ever wear makeup again. You are exquisite without it!

Gena cat: I love it! this color has been sold out everywhere where I live been on a hunt ever since I saw it.

Bshell1502: How quickly does this fade? I know red dye fades fastest ..... I mean in relation to other box dyes of a similar shade, how does it hold up?

Cailey Munroe: Do you think it would be okay to get my hair done professionally (red/copper) and then use box dyes to redo and touch up with? Thanks

blythe: I dyed my hair copper red almost a year ago, it’s fading but it’s still here, i’m planning on dyeing it later this day or tomorrow. i love copper red so much loll

Allie G: The coconut oil hack is new to me and blew my mind!! Really threw me for a loop!!

Violingirl79: That colour is gorgeous and your nails are beautiful xx

Oralia Wheeler-Spahn: At my king Soopers it was 2.99. Can't beat that price especially when I have to buy three boxes for my hair. I have hair to the bottom of my butt. I use the coconut oil as well.

Cheryl Moore: Antibacterial gel also removes dye stains and so does cigarette ash as a last tresort

Kris Tibbs: Love the new hair color!

Christopher M: The color is stunning!

Valentina Salas: thanks for sharing the shade you are using!!!!! I must must get this hair color! I love it!!!!!! I had red hair during last fall.and winter. then got tired ans changed it to a soft brunette. now I regret it Lol. i want my red hair back. I love this shade ! can't wait for your next video because maintaining red hair is hard!!!!

Alina Padilla: looks lovely!

RobinaStylist: What shampoo and conditioner do you use to maintain your intense copper color?

Eli I: I use petroleum jelly or even conditioner around my hairline, ears, and jaw anywhere I know the hair dye falls and keep a wet towel handy for anything else. I love Revlon for other things but have used Loreal for my red hair for a long time now. Red hair is so hard to keep up with but nowhere near as when I had purple hair and it use to bleed on my pillowcase and even nails. Your hair always looks fabulous, especially in our hot Florida weather. I live in Tampa myself but go as far out at Citrus Park/Riverview/ St Pete/Clearwater for fun.

Linda Johnson: Beautiful color!

StacyinMS Stacy: love the color. I'm a natural strawberry blond with gray lol it takes 4 bottles to get all of my hair colored

quixilvered777: Hi. I have a question. I dye my hair with 7.34 and ox 10%.the thing is that i want my hair lighter. What shall i do? Buy the 8.34 hair dye? Or keep the same dye and use ox 20% instead? Thanx

Airam B: You rock that color!

Makeup By Karen G.: Zabrena your hair is gorgeous! Did you experience any hair shedding after giving birth?

choirkitty: I love it!!!!! I wish I could dye my hair red but I'm so afraid my hair would turn pink! (my natural color is dirty blonde)

fabulous Amanda b: I love your new color!

merita Holmes: Thank you Sabrina for the hair. color hacks

Shaunell MacGloan: Gorgeous!

Micki H: So pretty; makes your eyes pop

April Borealis: Zabrena - Will you please, please, PLEEEAAASE do a video on best eye primers for oily lids? I haven't found any videos like that yet. My lids are very oily and the only eye primer I've found that works for me is KVD's Lock-It Eye Primer. I trust and value your thoughts on things like this, so pleaaase make a video for this! :) Thanks.

Eleonora: Beautiful hair colour !!!!!!!!

AMA Mae: I love this color on you.

Lauren Jayne: if you are acne prone skin do not put olive oil on your face pleaseeee save your skin, just use a thick non-comedogenic moisturiser it will do the same job xo

Robin Holbrook: You are just so STUNNING!

Linnette Corrales: beautiful!

Bzer: Don't know if I can commit to red again, but i may have to give this line a shot!

FashionByAlly: YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL HAIR!

Minerva2277: Yaaaaay, we got it now too. You can buy those dyes now at "Rossmann" in Germany.

Strange Human Being: Loooove the hair colour!

kerenred: I love that color!

Wanda Sanfiorenzo De Rodriguez: Hi Zabrena!! Can you make a review on the new products of Milani? Would like to know what you think of them and which you recommend same with Hard Candy!! Thank you!! Hoping to see it soon!! Blessings!

chel q.: What a beautiful hair color

Ivy Newman: what's your natural hair color? Just curious! I'm a dark blonde. probably a 6 in hair color. I dyed my hair red and it took super easy. I have very slight red undertones in my hair so warm colors suit me. I'm considering trying this color out but I'm curious if we have a similar natural hair color...and if not, what your color is. thanks! <3

lila violet: Divine haircoloradore it

FlopsyGuitarBunny: You look so much younger sans the make-up.

Minerva2277: Beautyful und 100 % grey hair coverage (which is super important for me). The "reddish bronze" would even match my natural hair color (auburn). But are those available in Germany? It´s sooo hard to find a dye in my natural color here! :( Most of the dyes I found look pretty unnatural or they don´t fully cover grey hair. So I have to dye my hair additionally with henna (a pain in the .....). The hair coloring hacks are really very good but instead of olive oil I´m using a rich fatty cream (cheap). The ginger colors would also be great, but don´t they look yellow-orange on the white hair strands?

Bobbie Morton: we have about the same length of hair but I think yours is thicker.. do you use 2 boxes?

Megan6772: would you say you have cool or warm skin? I'm a dark brunette wanting to go bright gingery red but am sooo confused about all the contradicting info about cool vs warm reds and skin

Carrie from Utah: You look cute without makeup

Laura Benson: Unfortunately for a blonde like me, I think blond is the ONLY color that's not going to work out too well using a boxed dye. And with salon services so expensive, I usually have to wait a long time between visits.

Nidia Neira: awesome color on you!!!

Ariel Baldwin: YOU ARE GORGEOUS, I LOVE THE COLOR!

Eva Beck: Your hair is Beautiful!!

4His Glory: You are just gorgeous!

Furtastic Friends: I'm assuming with your hair length, you used 2 boxes of hair color?? I have to use 2 boxes because my hair is so long and thick, plus I have tons of grey hair. It's practically 100% salt and pepper at this point. I'm debating on cutting it all off and going natural because within 2 weeks my grey comes back.

annafrank77: In super love of your hair !!

lila violet: You look way better without make-up btw.
