This totally counts as a Valentine's Day video, right?

I sort of hate to start with a cheap reference like this, but quite honestly, this show fills me to the brim with determination. I'M I won't use a number, and today we're looking at snow white with the red hair, come on a CMOS, a con Ojeda. No san thome treatise, Anamika wah wah Jimmy mooska stay straight a semester, then Dan, curry, okay, a question that Olga batteries, okay, see Dinka non-st, look see: Jocasta mundo de Tomaso decree, cardigan Amato, Monhegan Karina summary still Nova to Zotero. No con. Okay, das, beste, nada, see Barack economy, radedi Nakata, see Ida, Shrek khoka next october, ah Nariko yo de la mano, so Tony Dorito Kiba Koyo kakero T Teresa nah. Yes, you go, you go. You go! Oh y'all, might I say meeting you Huck? We don't agree sure you ki, that would be Japanese for Snow White is in herbalist, making a modest living in the Kingdom of Tonga. The prince of this kingdom notices her beautiful, bright red hair and tries to take her for a concubine super classy and romantic move that so she decides to get the hell out of there and flees on her way to the neighboring kingdom of clarinha. She just so happens to come across the prince, or rather a prince of that Kingdom, not that she knows it at the time, but it's revealed by the end of the first episode so shut up about spoilers. Some dramatic things happen and cheery Yuki sets out to forge her own path with her herbalist skills in clarinets, aside from cheery Yuki's name, there's really only a handful of references to Snow, White and they're all in the very first episode beyond that. It is very much its own thing. Maybe the name was chosen to set up expectations than defy them, or the author of the manga, just really like Snow White and wanted to pay homage, whatever the reason the name works, if only because this show has the feel of a fairy tale. This comes from the bright vibrant colors that are almost constantly on screen, the music that evokes a sense of whimsy and writing. That'S rather poetic, sometimes also the setting, which is a medieval fantasy world that doesn't have any strange creatures or magic, at least as far as I've seen. What I mean is castles and kingdoms without any that pesky real world history stuff involved. Each episode finds the characters dealing with some sort of issue, usually related either to Shiro Yuki's progress as an herbalist or something Zen has to deal with as a prince. These situations can range from investigating why Zen stops receiving letters from a fourth that he's particularly fond of to political intrigue to sheer Yuki, taking a test to advance in her career as an herbalist. Also, it's a rather rare show and that it isn't action focused, but there are still excellent action scenes when the story calls for it. This is the same studio bones that put out Full Metal, Alchemist and Soul Eater. So I guess that isn't quite too much of the surprise that the point is what's happening in the show can be rather varied, but it's always focused on the characters, those characters and their relationships with each other are the strongest point of this show we have Prince Zhen, who is constantly shirking his desk based duties, but has a good heart. His wisecracking knight servant people Kiki in Mitsui day and, of course, Shirayuki herself. Shirayuki is one of the best characters I've come across in a while. I can confidently call her a badass, even though she's not really a fighter or one of those super intelligent, mastermind type characters. She exudes confidence, she's constantly working towards her goals, and it feels like she always earns whatever progress she makes, even in situations where she's ultimately saved by another character that usually beings in she never appears weak or helpless, because she's always doing whatever she can to get Out of those situations - and she helps then just as often as he helps her - that's not to say that the other characters aren't great. There are more characters than I mentioned that get introduced as the story goes on and even though I described those few in a single sentence, they're all far more complex than that gives them credit for who each of them are, and what motivates them becomes very clear. As the story goes on and the events of the story cause all of them to grow in believable ways that growth developed relationships, romantic or otherwise, between the characters and it all feels very natural and because the characters are all so strong when the drama gets ramped Up and something serious is going on. It'S easy to emotionally. Invest yourself into the events. There are a handful of dark moments, but the majority of the show has a feel of lightheartedness bringing a healthy amount of romance and a bit of comedy snow white with the red hair has 12 episodes in its first season in OVA and a second season. That'S airing now, if you're at all interested in the show, based on what I said, you should give it 5 or 6 episodes to decide if you like it enough to stick with it and if it means anything. This is one of my more recent personal favorites. So take that, for what you will that said, this has been out use a number if you like this video, you can subscribe and maybe share it with your friends, keep loving what you love and I'll, see you next time with something else. No mistake my December suit of any minute:

InterDimensional Exfil: It just feels refreshing and unpredictable to see a show where characters generally have some amount of real-world wisdom and temperance to their actions... and where story drama isn't sourced from misunderstandings and poor decision-making that feels forced or trope-ish.

cleo: I love this show because it's different from all the other romances. It doesn't have the guy pin the girl to a wall and forcibly kiss her on the first episode. It actually has genuine coverstations and relationship building. I really want more romance shows like this to come out.

Diana Rojo-Jewell: This show was so sweet I nearly got diabetes just watching it. The characters are all so amazing, especially Shirayuki, and the romance was written so well and the whole thing was very pretty for the eyes

finalformsonic: This show taught me how to take care of plants I still won't take care of my plants

Afan Zhafran: This is the true meaning of romance

Cutie Nepgear: I love this anime. It's one of my absolute favorite shojo anime.

Jacob Brown: I found this anime when I found record of grancrest war, and I watched that first. I saw the NTR scene in that show and realized I never want to see that again, so I was skeptical of seeing this since I found it at the same time, so thank you for going in depth on this anime. Long explanation, but it’s whatever!

Hoshimi Gaming: I love the anime but it takes all of my power not to rage at characters who try to interfere with shirayuki's love life she loves who she loves so leave her alone idc if is she makes other people happy let her be happy herself. I end up closing out the video because i want to smack the characters especially the maids and guards in the kingdom gossiping and in other kingdoms too, for example, her homeland prince rague's little sister is infuriating stop trying to get them together prince rague knows he can't so she should respect that and leave it alone. I personally wish she was with obi if it was up to me I would choose obi because he is a laid back guy but he can also be serious.

Bushra Islam: I love this anime ❤️. Thank you because of you I saw this anime

Xxx xxX: Shit feels like if Miyazaki made a series, the music, the background, the characters

shahed: Thank you so much really i have been searching for the right order to watch. I finished season 1 gonna watch the OVA then season 2

Eugene Debs: 9.5/10 I’m watching it again.

Muzda Taliha: I felt the same in the beginning but have to admit that I really like it

Francois Laroche: i'm bingwatching right now and i'm not disapointed! it's really a great surprise!

Carlos Guerrero: The quality of your videos is awesome

Eli: Eli likes akagami no shirayuki-hime Eli wants more akagami no shirayuki-hime Plz give Eli akagami No shirayuki-hime season 3

RaptorofRex07 Buchheit: You convinced me this looks good

Nur Farah Aqilah Bahanudin: Where can I catch the OVA Ep!!!!!Please, I'm addicted to this and tbh it's totally worth it

I.V: I wish 3rd season will come soon till end of 2018

奶芋泡浴: When do season 3 come?

Blanchebau: I really want to watch it but I dont know where to find it :((((

Paula: very very great video

smol person: I actually regret watching it, the shirayuki/zen side was interesting. But Shirayuki herself is very boring. All Raj got was a change of character and not much else. No credit for rescuing the redhead from the evil pirates. It was interesting to see Zen and the others backstories. Rather than that, I'm pretty glad alot of weebs are sleeping on it.

Roro Roro: لماذا لا ترجموا عربي بليز بليز حته الحلقه اهدي

Pacifist Middlemist: Hey... Can u make a video on where to watch anime for free

Thorn: Idk why but I was bored. It might just not my kind of show.

On see geh Bdvsb: ليه مش مترجم

Benjamin Hewitt: I don’t get why they called it Snow White, yeah yeah, her name means Snow White and there were like 2 references in the first episode, still don’t get it.... and for being a love story anime the “love” is quite lacking in both seasons, not to mention that the first 2/3 of the second season pissed me off to no end and it feels like the two aren’t even together for 85% of the show, I really like shirayuki (she’s one of the best female protagonists I’ve ever seen) but there is one thing that really pisses me off about her, why the actual fuck is she alright just hanging out with people who have literally kidnapped her before like nothing happened, like alright, forgive them and move on, whatever but don’t go visiting the bastards, jeez ya dumb beoch but once zen a shirayuki actually start an actual relationship, I think it will get a lot better
