Lunar Tides Hair Blood Moon & True Lust Dye | Red Hair Dye Review

So today i am going to dye my very, very blown out very pinky washed out hair with lunatides. I will be doing that so we've got all the different colors, so these are all the colors in the range. Oh there's all sorts there, beautiful lots of different colors they've, been um, showcasing their sort of pastel ones. Recently right so i got two more bottles of true lust and four bottles of the new shade blood moon. I'Ve been after this for ages. This is the shade i wanted to buy, but couldn't get hold of so mixed, my own, i'm hoping that this blood moon with a bit of true lust in it will really judge up the color. So i'm going to go 50 50.. I'M going to put one whole top of this and mix it with one whole top of that, so that's one type of blood, moon and one tub of true lust, because blood moon is a very dark red, but not really. Burgundy uh, but true lust is a very bright red, so hopefully mixed together i'll get a really nice signature, heavy metal on my red, i'm going to section up. My hair now see in a minute, so we've got blood, moon and true dust. I'M going to mix these two together, we're going to see what we get mmm smells absolutely lovely. So there we go. That'S the two colors in together the blood moon is definitely thicker than the true lust. So i think mixed together, they'll make quite a nice consistency. Okay, so i've done one bit and i've decided that i don't think the color's dark enough. So i'm going to chuck another blood moon in. So that's two blood moons there we go so that's two blood moons and one true lust right. It does smell really good. There we go all finished, i'm gon na put a stupid hat on and then i'm gon na wait i'll, see you soon. So it's done, i'm gon na go wash it out, see what it looks like in a minute. Well, this is the result. I love it. I love it. It is actually two weeks after i filmed that video. I found that video on new year's eve so that i could have some you know cool hair. When i go out so i will insert a couple of pictures of me on new year's eve. So that you can see the actual color, because i got lost in there getting ready to go out and then life happens, kids go back to school, blah blah blah blah. I have actually already filmed this ending, but then emily boo put out her video about her experience with lunatides, where she used that um, like this sort of grayish purple, that she wanted to use uh. So i've actually decided to refilm this ending. So i really really like this color, it's very very bright, so i've washed it twice when i washed it both times, because when i made up that mixture of two bottles of the blood moon with one of true lust, there was actually a whole tubsworth left. In my jug, which i poured back into one of the tubs, i've labeled it and that lives in my shower, when i wash my hair, i put a blob of it in with my conditioner and mix it in so it hasn't really faded very much at all. As i understand it, emily blue's sort of lilac has faded quite considerably when she washed it, but i don't know whether she gave it a helping hand by using something like head and shoulders or like a salt solution, or something like that. She may well have tried to wash it out a bit more, but obviously i want it to stay, so i haven't done that. I really really like it. It will be very interesting to see what color it fades to, because my last lunatides video that i did where i used true lust, crayon, baby and fuchsia, pink all mixed together. I found that it faded quite orange, which is why i went back to manic panic. I'M hoping that this blood moon will mean that it doesn't fade to orange. I think next time i'm going to try a mixture where i put in a little bit of the the crayon baby, which is like a darker sort of pinky. It'S quite a mulberry color um, but i might also try just blood moon. I'M gon na keep experimenting and i will keep you up to date. I will do a new video whenever i do a different mix so that you can see the different results that i get because it'll be quite interesting to see which colors give what results. It'S quite difficult. When you look on the website, because filters make colors look different, you know i tend to use a filter on instagram that makes my hair pop a bit more red, sometimes when it looks a little bit washed out. So you can never really tell what's you know? What'S real, but i am really really pleased with it um. It will be very interesting, like i said, to see how it washes out, but you know. Obviously i know that emily wasn't happy with hers. I left mine on for about an hour and a half. I think she said she left us on for four. I didn't have four hours. We were going out for new year's eve um. To be honest, unless i did it first thing in the morning and then washed it out just before the school run, i would never get four hours for dye on my hair anyway, just because i've got stuff going on, but uh yeah. So that is my lunatize yeah, so i definitely think next time i will try some cram baby in there, which is i've, got this pot left over from last time. I also have some fuchsia pink here left over. So again, i might try a dollop of that. We will see but yeah. What do you think i am really impressed with it. It'S gon na be quite interesting to see what happens with it. I have definitely noticed i'm getting less transfer the shower, always, as always looks like there's been a murder, but actually i don't think it's as bad as when i use manic panic manic. Panic is a great red, but it leeches like anything all my lab coats work, because we own nothing that is white. Absolutely nothing in our home is white. Well i mean the walls are, but other than that i don't own any white soft furnishings, any white clothes. Anything like that, so everything i have is black bedding towels the lot, so you i don't notice. If my hair leaks color, i mean that's the point, that's why i do it uh, because when i went on a holiday a few years ago it was all white sheets and my half of the bed was just red. So it's a good job. They had a washing machine at the apartment, so i could wash it out. That means the only way that i can tell if anything's transferring is by looking at my lab coat at work, because obviously lab coats are white. All the lab coats that i have ever worn are pink from here up, so it's hilarious. I can tell my lab coat on the peg because i go which one's got: the pink top half, oh, that one it's mine, so it'll be quite interesting to see how pink it goes with this. I haven't been into work much since i've dyed it. I'Ve only had two shifts, but i did get myself a clean lab coat, so i will let you know how the transfer goes, but so far i'm quite impressed doesn't seem to doesn't transfer onto my hands as much. I haven't been caught in the rain, yet that's always one of the things is when you get caught in the rain. Does it drip? I suspect it will all red seem to leach.
