I actually can't believe I'm trying it so it is time for a change and I can no longer keep up with the maintenance that blonde hair needs. So I'm going red, I'm not getting it into the details. Why? But I am going to show you the products. I'M using and I'm doing it myself at home, I haven't dyed my hair by myself since I was in high school since I was like 18. These are the Reds that I'm gon na be using today they are the L'Oreal technique, Cromer true Reds, in the shade chroma sangria you but-first, because my hair is bleached the lady at Sally's. It sounds really bad said that I need to use a protein filler first, so I'm just going to follow the directions on this first and then we'll get into the dye. But I have to make my hair damp like towel dry too damp first before I can apply this. So that's what I'm going to do so I just applied that the protein filler all over my hair and it says to apply one to two ounces and this whole thing has four ounces. So I apply one to two answers: two towel a damp hair for 20 minutes, so I just applied it all over on towel damp hair, as you can see if it's damp, but it's not wet, and I set my timer for 20 minutes and then it says After 20 minutes blot the excess from your hair, but you do not rinse, so don't go in the shower and set out just leave it on, and then you just apply your color on top of it. So I'll be back in 20 minutes. So I have seven minutes left on the timer before I can apply the color, but it says to mix the entire content of the tube that this came with, with 1.74 fluid ounces of cream developer, and so what I'm going to be using today is the 20 Volume at cream developer with by salon care use this one before, and I liked it even use any brand of cream develop, but they will all work. So this whole thing is 1.7 4 fluid ounces and you're mixing 1.7 for fluid ounces of color with 1.7. For fluid ounces of developer, so it's a 1 to 1 ratio. I'M going to do one tube at a time see how far I get, but I have to because I have long hair. You have short hair. You could get away with one and, if you're just doing your roots or retouch, you could just get away with one. But if you've got long hair, I've adjustment definitely suggest going to. And I have no idea how this is going to go and I'm very, very good. Okay, I look crazy right now, but I'm all done so. I'M gon na set a timer for thirty minutes and while that 30 minutes is going on, I'm gon na try and clean up some of the stuff that I got on my skin. I'M clearly out of practice, but I got on my arms also. Definitely wear long sleeves: if you have long hair, they are I'm just gon na clean up my area. While this is processing and I'll be back before I'm gon na shower it off. The time has come, it has been half an hour, there's been processing. So now I'm going to wash it out and then I'm gon na dry it and style it, and I will show you what it looks like when it's done. I am really nervous, but it looks like like it looks like it's taken pretty well. Overall, the color looks pretty even but you'll never know until you wash it out, I'm just hoping that the ends aren't gon na be too much lighter than the roots and that the ends have really soaked up that color and that my hair doesn't come out pink Or like orange, hopefully it looks red, so we'll see okay, so this is the finished result. I am actually obsessed it's a little bit lighter red than what I was going for. I wanted to go more of a dark red, but I can live with this for a little bit and then maybe in a month, go over it with something darker, but for now I'm just gon na give my hair a break, but I am obsessed. I turn this light off, so you could see it in a more natural light from just the window, but let me turn this on. So you know it's kind of making. Me look super white, but you can see how red it came out and I love it. I think it looks so cool and I was definitely ready for something different. So if you liked this video then give me a like and subscribe to my channel and I'll see you in my next video, which hopefully will I'll still have the same colored hair. Hopefully it won't be, you know to fade it or anything, but I'll see you in my next video

Erika Rose: Looks really pretty! ♥️I'm thinking about going blonde to red but I'm scared

Pickle Chips: It's so hard to find a level 8 or 9 that goes red as everyone has like honey brown hair. So, I'm glad to see a lighter blonde do this. I have the same thing and I'm done with the blonde. I'm allergic to bleach and I need to let me hair grow back from 3 years of bleaching this mop I like this color and I think I'm going to get this one too because it looks so good on you.

Jes Kaveda: It turned out so good. I hope you’re ready for red maintenance though cuz it’s a lot still.

cassie barnes: going from blonde to red was a huge regret for me i wanted blonde hair for years bc i had black hair and was told i could never but i did it myself and it turned out so good then someone said i look better with red so i did it and haven’t been able to get back to blonde it looks so good on you tho!

Cristina: You look AMAZING! I want to try and go red too from platinum white hair but I'm so scared

Sarah F: wow it looks amazing! This is permanent as well so you were very brave. Was it hard to go back to blonde after this? Thanks in advance.

Fixinfkinsandwiches!: Came out gorgeous!

unicorn princess: Red is always a good idea. ❤

Jadeen Pillay: Came here because I'm going blonde to red and I'm so scared it's not going to turn out the shade of red I want

Katherine Roskell: Lovely , it actually suits you better than blonde, brings out your features, beautiful

Riko Smith: Looks good gurl

Heidi LeFevre: Looks great!

Fit with Soof: So, won't vol 20 lift the hair underneath again? Wouldn't it be better to use a vol 3.5 which only deposits colour? I'm asking because I'm about to do this hahaha!

Marissa Fogarty: I went red and used the Ion hair color - I have a long pixie cut and I couldn't get away with 1 tube - thankfully I got two tubes

Juliet V: It’s pretty I had red hair for five years it’s a lot of upkeep it fades to orange even on my dark hair roots which upset me so much I went blonde yet the blond Mai tan e is even worse or rather the bleaching and toning and constant breakage I’ve literally destroyed my waist length hair w bleach I mean sure the first couple years went well then it started snapping off it’s a broken layered mess I’m so embarrassed and it’s so damaged it takes two days to dry so I just wash it twice a week. In my case I have frizzy waves which makes it worse. I don’t want to go short but I also don’t want the upkeep of red again. I’m letting roots grow out again a few months then idk what blue to black maybe I just don’t know . I’m totally stuck. She did a great job and I know why she got sick of long blonde hair but I did prefer it . Yet if you bleach blonde yourself you risk damage no matter what at some point you’ll make a mistake overlap bleach and chunks fall out it takes a few yrs to do it but I managed to do it. Did I get lazy or forget how to to my bleach? Idk maybe I just don’t know I’m in her same position now and I have no idea what to do as I hated the red fade out so much , uggg orange makes me look like death. I hate orange in every form. Idk I guess I could let it go for months and pay for color correction on what’s left. I lost so much hair. I stopped doing coconut oil, so during Covid it started falling out. Lack of self care? Maybe that and anxiety depression set it. It’s extremely hard to do your own hair and thank you to everyone making videos on it it’s not at all easy nor fun. Ty ♥

Shakira jk: Did the red go out completely after so many washes? and was it beautiful blonde again?

Sally B.: Na začiatku prirodzené pekné dievča, bez make-up u vyzeráte lepšie a na konci s červenou zostarnutá o 15 rokov, nalepené mihálnice, s tým pôsobí každá ako nejaká lepšia, bola ste o moc krajšia s blond a bez make-up u. Prepáčte
