Yeah all right, it's happening, hi guys welcome back to my channel, so today we're doing something a little different. We are coloring our hair red, as you guys have noticed. I took my extensions out. You guys know I had hair down to my waist. It was beautiful. It was balayage, she was like hair goals, okay, but I was bored. I got very bored, so I had Austin. He took some pliers took those babies out. I then cut my hair into this sole angled cute moment, and then I colored my hair, my root color. All the way down - and it's been fun for the four days that I've had it, but I'm over it. Okay, I need change. I need something fun you guys. This is why I'm not allowed to not have extensions, because whenever I have extensions in I'm like okay, this hair was a lot of money. I can't touch it whenever I don't have extensions. It'S bad like it's bad, I get so bored. I just want to change it all the time. So that's you know what we're doing today and hopefully we're gon na go from this dark level-3 brunette to a really pretty vibrant red. So if you guys want to see how we're going to achieve this, if you guys want to see if we're going to achieve this um, you know please keep watching okay. So before starting out I'm not a professional. I have like professional knowledge. I did go to hair school. I actually did really well in hair school, but after I got out, I was just over it. I didn't want to do it anymore. I main reasoning for going cosmetology school is because I wanted to be a makeup artist, so I never got my license to be a hairstylist. I'Ve never been in a salon. I do my friends and family's hair. Do what I know and that's it hopefully gon na, be like a little better than just someone just like do it yourself and hopefully I'll be able to give you guys some little tips and tricks. I think I have about like 80 % faith that this is gon na turn out, but then there's like that 20 % or I'm just like this - could go really bad really fast. Now I know if you guys have ever been interested and coloring your hair right at home. You have heard of these products. This is the l'oreal high color and l'oreal high color highlights these are horrible for your hair, okay, nine times out of ten. You have to do it like two to three times in order to get the color that you want, because your roots are always gon na pull you're gon na have a band in the middle like it's just not a good situation. B'S dyes claim that you don't have to pre lighten your hair because there is Lightner within this product, even though they're terrible for your hair to me, it's a it's just hair. I wish I cared more about my hair, but I don't my mom and Brad. Mondo are screaming right now like screaming, because both of them hate right hair. This is gon na go to waste. It'S either gon na be perfect. I'M gon na be so happy um or I'm gon na end up on one of Brad Mondo's videos with the hair fail, I mean either way is a win. Okay either way. So I haven't decided on the exact formula that we're gon na be doing, but I am gon na go ahead and start with lightening our hair, so we're gon na be using the color charm, we'll a bleach and again all the products that are using today. I got it Sally's that I'm not suggesting that you guys do this. Okay, we'll always always always say, go to a professional. I know I'm being hypocrite right now. I like doing my hair myself whenever it's short and I don't have extensions and then, whenever I'm over it I'll go to a professional and then they can just like do me up like do me right, but for now I just I just want to do it. I want change. We are going in with the Wella Color charm bleach. We are going to be taking that with 30 developer. If you are following this tutorial and if you are planning on doing this yourself, please please be careful. Okay, wait of those words I feel like isn't strong enough when you're using 30 developer with bleach and you're not experienced with bleach. You have a very high probability of your ends: breaking off and stringy like stretchy, bubblegum, you're going red. You don't need your hair to be this bright blonde. Okay, if your hair is orange and brassy, that's okay, because you're going a warmer color that warmth and that brassiness it's gon na help you when you're going into that red color. Just keep that in mind. Please be careful and please be mindful, and please do your research before you guys just go in slap bleach on your hair. We have our foils, you need foils. If you want your hair to list as evenly as possible, I'm getting a little nervous we're, starting with the front portion of her hair. We'Re gon na take fairly thin sections, the bigger sections that you guys take the more chance that you have a bit getting patchy. Not getting all of the hair within the bleach, so we're gon na start pretty thin and I'm just going to lay a foil underneath just like this we're just going to start about here and I want a pretty low root. So I'm just going to feather this up, so then you want to a fully saturate your ends. Okay, so just flip that baby up, you want this to be white, like you want this to look like toothpaste. If this just not look completely covered, your hair is not gon na list and it's gon na be a bad situation, making sure that everything is nice saturated and then we're just doing a slight little feather at the top just so we don't have any harsh lines Going from that very dark route to this, so I'm just going to fold. I don't want to fold the feather pieces. You'Re gon na go ahead and fold it and then this part doesn't have any bleach on it. So then you're gon na fold it all the way up. You can just flip that up and move on to the next, so I'm gon na go ahead and work my way around my head, and then I will show you guys how I'm going to do the back oils are in I'm going to check these over here. We'Re definitely lifting I'm definitely gon na have to wash this out before, like the whole back is done, because I don't need this that light. I only need this to get to about a level 6 and surprisingly we're. Basically, there do you guys see that okay, so I am honestly, I'm probably gon na give this side of my head about 5 more minutes and then we're just going to wash it out ciao we're going to do the back kind of worried about doing the back Myself, but like the rest of this video we're just gon na wing it I'm gon na, go ahead and just split my hair down the back section it off. I'M going to take my little clip clip the right side of my hair off, so we're only working with the left side of my hair right now. We'Re just gon na take a slice just like we did with the front of my hair. So we have a thin piece. I think that's the best way to do it is just bring your hair forward and I'll lay the foils flat on your head. That way, you guys can see exactly what you're doing that means you're working with the underneath portion of your hair, so make sure you pull it forward and make sure you're getting it completely saturated before you go in with the foil again. This is just to ensure that you're getting the hair completely covered because we don't want any spots, don't want any disasters happening and then go back through and fully saturate it. Our foils, lay it flat and blends, don't really the same there because they are finished. So I'm going to go ahead, rent these out and then come back and finish the rest of my head. Okay guys, so I went ahead and washed out all the bleach. It looked really good and I'm so excited I'm now going in with the Coco and Eve like a virgin, coconut and fake hair mask, i shampooed the bleach out, and then I went ahead and just pop this. On my end, I just want to make sure we're keeping our ends. Nice and moisturize because, like I said, I do feel like I'm gon na end up using the real good color highlights my friend Molly's gon na murder me, but that's just the best. Color definitely want to make sure my ends are staying it nice and moisturized, because that dye is a little little harsh on your hair. So I'm gon na go ahead. Let this mass sit in my hair for about ten to fifteen minutes and then we'll pop back on and do the red you guys my friend mullet. She texts me said you're a bad influence because she is now doing her hair as well. So ever you guys see my reveal at the end. Maybe we will be able to get a reveal of Molly's hair. Okay, you guys we are back we're looking a little warm, a little brassy if you guys can see here. This is my extension. I forgot to let the extension sit a little longer on this side. I just washed it out with the rest of my hair. Where is everywhere else? I left the extension on just a little bit longer and we got more of an even tone. I decided to bleach one of my extensions I washed out once I got to this level and then I just put the plain red hot. On top just to see what would happen if we only had to do one process, it's not cute. Do you guys can see the difference this one over here just looks like it's washed out and just not cute, whereas this one, it's just red velvet, goodness I don't know, I think I'm gon na do two processes. I know it's gon na feel a little less than perfect. After doing two processes of the l'oreal high color highlights, but you know you do what you got to do it. You know I'm saying I'm gon na go ahead and go in with the high color highlights. Just in the shade red, so whole tube is one and a half ounces, so I'm just gon na take my little measuring cup and we're gon na do 30 volume. I feel like that's a mistake, I'm feel like I should do 20 volume we're gon na. Do 30, then, I'm also taking a little whisk and I'm stirring it over. You guys are mixing your red hair color, try and use a whisk, because the particles and molecules all that jazz are so big that it's chunky and you want to make sure that you get this completely mixed and do a super smooth consistency before you go in And pop it on your head, also, if you're doing this in your bathroom Dexter, that is up like cover that stuff and saran wrap everywhere, because this red color, if it gets on anything, it's done for it like it's stained, I'm doing on my apartment floor carpet. I'M just gon na go in section by section you have that completely saturated, I'm just going to flip it and then we're gon na move on to the next section. Again, you guys just like the bleach. You want to take smaller sections, the thicker sections that you take the harder it is to ensure that you're getting every single strand going to continue to work all the way around my head with the shade red and then, whenever I'm finished, I will pop back on. Will wash it out and then we'll go in with the red hot shade? So now we wait 30 minutes. This is over it. This is so bright. We'Re gon na be putting a darker right. On top of it. I'M talking myself up right now. Cuz, that's gon! Na be fine, if it's horrible, we will adjust our plan accordingly, you guys is Ronald McDonald, red and look it got on my fruit right here and the contrast between my root and right is so like. The contrast is so high that look at that. That'S that's! Not gon na do think. I'M gon na give my hair a little bit of a break tonight, but tomorrow I think I'm gon na go in with a root, color and kind of blend, all this out and then go in with Fred hot, with a ten developer. So that we're only depositing and just darken and tone this down just a little bit, but we're definitely Fred. We we definitely achieved the red. So if Ronald McDonald red is what you were going for, um you're welcome. Okay, so the last time you guys saw my hair, it was like Ronald McDonald, bright Fred, and I said I was gon na wait until the next day to do my hair, but I was wasting my bacon, so I went ahead and did it. This is the color I am so freakin happy with how it turned out. I filmed this process getting to this level and I went back to look at the footage and it wasn't there because I never hit record fine. So I'm gon na go ahead and tell you guys what I did show you guys the products that I use so in the Sun. It is it's a little on the bright side um. It definitely has some like pink reflex in it, which I'm not a fan of, don't like the pinky red I, like more of like the orange II rides, so I'm gon na see how this fades. Whatever I go back to refresh my color, I'm not gon na be using the Loreal hi color color, that's just too harsh, but I am obsessed with how it turned out. I went back in I'll. Show you guys the product that I use, but I just did my route and I feathered it down all the way around just to get rid of that harsh route line and then where the red was, and I think it turned out so freakin good, you guys. I am so set, so let me go ahead and go over the products that what you guys know exactly what I did to get this red, how we did the route color. This is the aged, beautiful color and the shade for our our. He also took the aged beautiful in the shade of three and in I did one ounce of the 4rr and half an ounce of the three in in now. If you really just want an intense deep red route, the 4rr will get you there. You don't to add the 3 and n. I did not want an intense red root and this alone kind of gives me more of like an RV vibe. So it definitely gives more of like a red, violet kind of tone, and that was not what we were going for. So I went ahead and did half an ounce of the 3, and - and that is what gave us this really nice deep root. And then you can see the reflex of red whenever you're outside, but other than that it just gives you a really nice dark root that blends into your red. Now, while I had that color sitting on my roots, I did go in the Loreal high color Red's. In the shade red hot again, this is not high. Color highlights it's just high color. Now this is to pair this color with 30 developer. My hair had been through it. I did not feel comfortable putting 30 developer back on my hair and I didn't need any extra lift. That red was light enough bright enough, so I went ahead and paired it with 20 volume. I was gon na do 10 volume, because 20 volume does still give you a good amount of lift, but I was afraid that it wasn't gon na give me as much of a vibrant color that I got with the test strand on my extension. So I did end up doing 20 developer and then I just went strand by strand and then once I got to the part of where my root color was. It took my fingers and I just blended the two shades together and slowly blended it down, and that is what gave us this really nice blend between the red and the root color, I'm a huge, huge fan of dimension. If you guys do this color, I highly suggest doing the dark root. Obviously this is nowhere near a natural color. You do want to make a look as natural and, like you got it done at a salon as much as possible, so adding that dark root and just adding a little bit of dimension back in your hair is gon na make it look more professional. It'S not gon na make it look as flat, just really pretty to have that dark base go into this deep red velvet red, but that is it you guys. I hope you guys enjoyed if you guys do attempt to do this color, please. Let me know please tag me like. I said, I'm not suggesting that you do this at home because it does involve Lightner. Lightner can be very scary, doing it by yourself. You could burn your hair off. It just turn into a huge disaster, and then it would cost even more money for your hair stylist to fix it. Then it would have been just to go to them to do it. But if you feel comfortable and if you like how this hair turned out and you do end up trying - it definitely tag me. Definitely let me know, but that is it you guys. So, thank you guys so much for watching make sure you hit that like button down below and check out the description box, it's gon na have all the products that we use in today's video while you're down there hit that subscribe button, because you know you want To subscribe to my channel and then, if you want, you can hit the notification bell that what you guys get notified anytime, I post a new video but other than that. Carlina Walker: This is the most informative hair tutorial I have ever seen, and this color is stunning on you!!

Kate Haas: I think it turned out so beautiful! I’ve already done a balayage/ombré blonde myself a couple months back and so I don’t think I need to lighten up anywhere and now I want something different for fall. I’ve been a red before. My question for the last process you did, did you use foils to make sure the dark didn’t saturate on the red or just section and color roots first then mid to ends? I just don’t want to ruin the red by laying the hair on other pieces. Thank you so much in advance. ♥️

marga7287: I’ve used L’Oréal for years and my hair always lifted to a great bright color using 30 developer. I have super dark, almost black hair and never had to lighten it first and damage the hair more.

Kimberlea Blair: IT LOOKS AMAZING & this is so informative!

Esöterix: Loved this video!!! Will be attempting to do it tomorrow. My hair is probably one level lighter than yours I bleached it about two weeks ago and just wanted to give it a break before I went in with red or orange. Tomorrow is the day and ironically I have the same hair mask thank you for this video!! Your hair look so bomb!!! ❤️❤️❤️ xoxo

hminners: Absolutely love this color and root idea and plan to try it today Iv been doing deep brown and bright red for a long time and it’s time for a change and a bit of a more mature look since I just turned 40 I hope it turns out as good as yours did!

bubble buddy: I’ve used these dyes before and the results were amazing . I was brunette . Never had to do it more than once

Debbie 72: Love this & did it last night! Turned out amazing & I didn't use any bleach before the red.

Aria Dragonfly: You're so cute! The color is So beautiful. Love how you blended it in and it's not just solid red. thanks for the ideas!! I'm mixing magenta and intense red. Also following the directions of no pre lightening so yay! hahaha Wish me luck!

Kawaii Franki: I've been using that hair dye and I don't think it was terrible for my hair. Mind you my hair was extremely damaged before. It never really ruined my hair. Also I used to dye my hair when my hair was dark brown and it always came out super bright. No need to damage it bc the hair dye is for dark hair.

Robin Stephano: So glad I found your video! I typically color my own hair but I went to a salon to get the look you have and ended up with one color all over...annoying. First of all the color she did was too brown, I could've done that myself SO here I go! I did a bleach bath leaving out my roots then went to Sally's and got BTZ Crimson Storm for the ends and the same brand you used but a 5N and 6R to blend my roots and took your advice to redo the midshaft with Crimson Storm 10 vol which really helped blend out my roots to the bright red even more but I think I'll try the 4RR next time ;) Thanks!

It's Simply Ray: So I know this is a older video but definitely want to try to do this at home it looks so pretty. I just found your channel today and loving the content I'm glad your back on here.

Tiffanetic: This color looks beautiful on you. This is the color I want my hair next. Great job

Brianna Dyck: This is amazing ! It's sort of how my hair is when I get it done at the salon. Currently I have the dark root about halfway down and then the ends are the vibrant red like yours. It is currently fading and I have insane natural roots, so I'm wondering since I already have the color lifted and bleached on the ends do you think it's fine to skip the hicolor highlights part and just use the red hot and developer?

JULIE EVERETTE: You look so beautiful. I need a make up tutorial on this look! Or a list of products especially the lip color! ❤️

T Cannon: Before: pretty; After: drop dead gorgeous!!!! That color is the way to go for you - makes your eyes POP! Beautiful!

lydia mazurkiewicz: It looks beautiful and that’s a goal I’m trying to go for…hopefully

Mary 0323: Looks amazing!! Wow.You're makeup is gorgeous too.

Zotos Professional: We love this tutorial! Thank You for using our AGEbeautiful hair color! Be sure to tag us in your beautiful photos and videos on IG & Youtube!

Crystal Monge: I love this! I want this hair now!!!

ᴍᴇʟᴀɴɪᴇ ᴅᴇʟᴀɪɴᴇ: You are so pretty I’m so tempted to dye my hair cherry poppin red I love it!

Dina Redding: Love this looks amazing

Emily Elizabeth: The very end result was beautiful! I'm wondering if it would come out like that if you just put the red hot on the bleach instead of the red? I'd be terrified to try this haha!

Irene Otero: Beautiful results. What amount of 20 volume did you mix the root color with. Also, what setting spray did you use for your waves i like that natural soft beach wave look. Thank you thumbs up on your video.

jasperslegacy: Maybe I missed this, but did you also use 20 developer with the root colors? It's absolutely beautiful!

Tiara Love: It’s red is beautiful! I’m making an appointment with my stylist to get a red like this. What color should tell her to do?

Audrea Bermudez: I’m obsessed!!!! It looks sooooo gooooood!!!!!!!

Misfit Rose Tarot: My natural hair is very dark brown with Auburn highlights (in sunlight.) I've always been drawn to red. I've used loreal hicolor hilights in red and magenta (one of each, mixed together with an appropriate amount of developer.) Scary part... I used 40 vol developer. However, it turned out fantastic. It was extremely red from root to tip, but that is what I wanted. Amazingly, my hair was not damaged much at all. I guess I got lucky. LOL. I love how your hair turned out!!

Lauren Dimas: I love it so much!!! The red makes your eyes pop! Who else thinks Brad Mondo should see this?!!!

Jamie Elizabeth: Wow those colors turned out gorgeous! I would be too scared to mix colors. I’m about to use Ion in Radiant Raspberry

Vanessa Linn: Love the color so for the root you did the brown and the red together on the root, Right? and for the hair it's the red and the hot red but since you did it two different time can I put the two reds together and do the roots with the brown red on top at the same time ? Thanks

Roxy K: The end results are amazing ❤

Naureen Zain 24: You look so so amazing with red hair and makeup

Isabel Chavez: It looks cute but us professionals are not magicians so please don’t always assume that we’ll be able to fix it lol

Fay Beharry: Looks incredible

T Glenn: WoW! You look beautiful! Good job!

S.P Nugget: 0:40 "it's been fun.... For the four days I've had it." That is such a mood

Sarah's Lush Boutique: This looks amazing I'm jealous lol

Riah 1121: I'm doing my hair the exact same colors tomorrow

Amanda Serrato: Beautiful!

Kayla Borders: So pretty!!!

Julie Insley: It's gorgeous suits you well

Jes N: Omg I loved your hair in the end ❤️

Anto: So beautiful the color on you. Que lindoooo.

Elizabeth Ibrahim: Wow that's beautiful

Dmm ice: It makes sense that it’s harsh, but does 30 volume have to be used?

Jamie Elizabeth: You are so damn pretty! So glad I found you tonight!

AMae Quilala: I feel like these work if you have virgin hair ... if you have color hair as Brad says "Color doesn't lift color" lol.

alexis Sylvester: So would you suggest red hot instead of red ?

Jessica Guilbeau: Can I just mix those two shades and put it on my hair? The two reds?

Victoria Ashley: Oh girl. lower volume when you’re depositing color. Higher volume when you’re bleaching.

Princess: Do color opps instead of bleaching then the bleach from the dye just a guess

Mariel Colley: That’s it I’m dyeing my hair!

Lisa Snowden: Haha sounds like me I've got bored of my extensions only had them In bout month and get bored of same hair colour lol

Tifa: Beautiful hair color what lipstick shade are you wearing ? Thx

M a r i a P.: I’m confused so you mixed The red and the red hot together to get your McDonald’s color? Then on top of that you did the root color on all of your hair to get it darker? I just want to be clear before I do it because it looks so pretty on you!

xokferg894: Sorry if I missed it, but can you get the Age red at Sally's?

Megan V: I’m doing this now lol

Delson Galasinao: I've allways loved red haircolor.

Krystal Whitaker: I am a red head fanatic, 10 years going strong!! Lol what are the better brands of color to use?

Xghaida Xx: So pretty! ,but next time try loreal Hicolor in magenta without bleaching your dark hair you’re gonna love it

Jazmin Espitia: Beautiful!!! Omgggg what lipstick or lip como are you wearingggg on your lips at the end !?

Kadenpro asmr: Omg gorgeous

NORA SAENZ: Lo hare!!!!

jasperslegacy: Can you tell us where you purchased your desk and mirror? I'd like to buy one for my daughter.

April Mae: Girl you could of gotten away with 10 developer. The 20 did nothing for you as you had alrady lightened the hair. Anytime you deposit a color, use 10. If you are trying to go a shade lighter that when 20,30 developer comes in. Also if your worried about the condition of your hair id try uberliss

Dannielle Morin: I love your color

sm.: Lol I hope Brad Mondo watches your video one day, he will be impressed

Laura Abra: Ok so did you mix the red and red hot to get your overall colour? Thanks

Team_Pearson: What color is the brown that you had before?

Hannah Hilbert: doing this for a friend :)

angela collins: Pravana 6.66 for touch ups!!!

Austin Carroll: Hair is so

Adriana: Do u think it killed ur hair a lot or just slightly

sabrina mahamud: Do u think it will work with light brown hair

Kelsey McDonough: Im so obsessed with it and sleepy Winston in the back

Jill Bean: Wow!! That is your color woman

GlaxianGames: Brad Mando would be proud of those foils not to mention the roots being last

mommyof3: Dexter that ish hahahhaa i love her shes so hilarious

GoddessJackson8: So pretty on you

the_furry_forrests: “I wish I cared more about my hair, but I don’t.” Same girl.

Chlozza _: Really thinking of doing this color but without bleach?

Manpreet Kaur: Vry nice sis

Kat Ghosh: You're not supposed to use bleach with this, it literally says on the box.

Camelia Damian: Is to much beautiful

Christina Lapoint: What color did u use and brand I did mine and I don’t see it

Mona E: Where is your vanity from??

Sonaina Girl: 13:12 We can see you in the mirror lol

Chantelle: How did your overall color go from neon red to dark red ? It’s not the same red whatsoever so what second red color did you use over top the initial red other than your roots ? Your final color isn’t the red from the beginning of your video. This is confusing.

Lauren E: Uhm hair cut tutorial??

Brooke Coleman: Can you do won with amanda William

Noura Fayza: I lik your hair dark brown I want coloring my hair in dark brown Wath color use you Sorry i now a little of english

ittsabaadhabiit: I’m in love..but I need to see the root part pleaseeeeeeeee lol when you refresh?

Susana Daribel: You sound like Amanda Bynes

Mmonroe21: So confused... It's literally supposed to be used without lightening. You say that out loud but proceed to lighten. Totally ruined the point. But thanks.

Christina Sanders: Did u say the red hot alone is what got u the deep red on the ends?
